The Ivy City Garden
The Ivy Collection’s first site in the City of London features an all-day-dining menu, private dining room, and hidden garden offering a tranquil al fresco escape from the hustle and bustle of the Square Mile. The restaurant boasts a summer water fountain, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows opening onto a hidden garden with its own bar. The Ivy City Garden’s outdoor space has a retractable roof, allowing diners to enjoy the garden all year-round.
Guests are also be able to enjoy our resident DJ; hitting the decks Friday from 6pm to close, all day Saturday and Sunday brunch.
Service was average, waiter wasn’t the best but the food was amazing! Desserts were even better, highly recommend this place
Daughters 21st - food absolutely fab & staff very attentive & service great
Excellent experience, service was absolutely outstanding. Could not fault the food and the restaurant itself was amazing. Will definitely visit again.
Great food, service and ambience! Had a great evening
21st Birthday celebrations and the whole experience was lovely, with great food and wine, plus a lovely little dessert for my daughter
Beautiful food, helpful staff, great atmosphere!!!
Great food and cocktails. Lovely open air bar area. Definitely going back!
Food atmosphere and service great. Only negative comment was that cocktail was disappointing. Full of ice in metal cup. Had a feeling that there was very little of the actual drink in it !
Always a amazing experience, excellent customer service, food, value for money visit regularly.
Good atmosphere, food is great. People are all friendly.
I had an amazing experience for a couple reasons. Firstly, service. I had two different business meals with clients one after another. Natalie was fantastic at timing our coffees and meals. When I needed the bill, I was looking around the restaurant and was immediately asked if I needed help by a manager who had noticed I was looking around. Secondly, food and beverage. Amazing. Thirdly, decor. Beautiful.
Arrival and seating swift and professional. Waiter taking food order didn't seem to understand what we requested and seemed indifferent. I asked for scrambled eggs and toast with a side order of crispy bacon. The bacon turned up looking more like Parma ham and was luke warm. They took both dishes away including my cutlery and returned the dishes at different times without cutlery, which I took from the next table.
My colleague ordered full English with poached eggs and white toast. Breakfast arrived with fried eggs on the plate and the poached eggs on a side plate. The toast was cold. Asked for the breakfast to be re-plated and for fresh white toast. The breakfast plate was brought back but the food wasn't particularly hot. And lukewarm floopy brown toast was brought to the table without butter. By the time the butter arrived the toast was cold and my colleague had lost the will to live by this time as he doesn't like making a fuss.
When the bill arrived they had charged me for the paoched eggs, which I had to asked be removed from the bill.
We will however, give the City Ivy another go to see if it improves. Not as good as The Ivy in Brighton!
Food was good but the restaurant really busy and loud
Great food. One of the two waiters we had was lovely, the 1st a bit miserable.
It was a treat for my son and you added a little dessert with a candle which was a lovely touch.
Absolute shambles. It took ages for us to get served, our drinks came 30-45 mins after we ordered. Nothing complicated - teas, coffees and lemon in hot water! The food took a long time to come out and even then, I had specifically asked for no cheese in my omelette (easy to understand you would think!) however when it came, it was filled with cheese. Thank God I wasn't allergic, it would have been a different story. Worst dining experience ever!
A bit noisy
Service was pretty slow and we were given a number of different waitresses. Food however was lovely, good portions and very tasty. Venue very charming, relaxed but fun at the same time.
An excellent evening with friends made special by good food and excellent service. Well done to Maresol, our waitress. Not cheap for a meal but a good venue for a special meal.
The service was excellent from the start, very professional and friendly and the food was amazing.
Lunch with friend
Main meals were very tasty - wife had the special which was Fish pie and I had the Miso Black Cod. Both were very tasty, Cod nicely cooked with amazing sauce. Sides were not so great. We ordered spinach and chips but spinach was bland and chips too hard/Crispy. Overall 4/5
It’s a beautiful spot but the service was sub par. We had to ask for everything, hardly anything was offered. It took ages to flag someone down for the bill. Not terrible but with a plethora of choice in London, it’s not worth going back to.
I ordered the lobster asparagus gratin and it really wasn’t a gratin, More like a creamy lobster soup. Very disappointing. Service and ambiance though was good.
Nice food and atmosphere but service was not up to the usual Ivy standard, disappointing
Lovely evening , lovely food , could not fault in any way
Take my guests here quite often. Great environment and decently good food all the time. Noise levels from diners can be a bit much sometimes :)
Buzzy atmosphere, surrounded by diners thoroughly enjoying their early Saturday evening; very good service; well-executed Ivy food: a recipe for a good evening.
The Ivy City garden is a great place to meet and eat with friends. Great ambience, a great selection of food and drink and a lively environment to enjoy it in too
Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere, staff absolutely fantastic and could not be any more tentative. Had a special from the menu , and recommend wine by the waitress, very nice and will return x
We had an amazing night, fantastic service , great food and lovely atmosphere
We had a lovely evening meal with close family that we’ve not seen for ages and everyone said how fantastic the food was the location the atmosphere and the service so well done to all Will definitely go back again
We had a very enjoyable lunch. The highlight was the friendly and professional service from our waitress. The food and wines are of high quality as you would expect. And the leafy atmosphere of the conservatory is airy and pleasant. If there is one quibble it is that some of the tables for two are a little too adjacent to others. Overall though, the Ivy is one of my favourite City restaurants.
Good for a quick breakfast, though pancakes were nicely presented they were dry.
Good, delicious food, great menu (especially for vegetarians). Reliable service. Just a little bit noisy if you are on a large table and want to have a group conversation
Food was good but we had to ask for drinks on several occasions. Tables very close together so noise levels were high so you found yourself shouting over conversations on adjacent tables. Much prefer the original Ivy or Canary Wharf where I have never had any complaints.
Great place to go for a celebration, really nice without being too posh. Cocktails are amazing and food is really nice. Can not recommend the chocolate bombe enough.
We had a great evening there
Good place for a business brunch
Food and atmosphere was 100% and exactly what you would expect of this prestigious restaurant. I will just say that out coffees arrived luke warm so if I had any quibbles about anything... it would be that. Otherwise I would definitely go back, my sister (and I) had an amazing Birthday Breakfast.
Pleasant and buzzing atmosphere, good food and pleasant staff
We had a really good lunch at Ivy City Garden. The service was exceptional for a busy lunchtime and the food was the usual high standard. Although it was busy the tables are well spaced and we did not feel crowded or overheard. The decor is interesting and individual as are the other Ivy Brasseries we have been to in London. It is a great find in a very convenient location.
