We really had poor service. My guest weren’t happy at all as we had to keep reminding the waiting staff about things even though was quiet. We ordered the special Bfast but the Smoothie was watery with all ICE. The Crossaint and Pain Au chocolates came after the breakfast was served. We ordered toast but had to remind the waiting staff who got it after my clients Bfast was over. The manager came sorry won’t charge you but that’s not the point. Disappointed.

Really lovely experience with good food and friendly service in the beautiful surroundings of the plant-filled restaurant. There was even live music which was a very enjoyable surprise.

Cocktails were average comparing the last times we visited. Crème brulee was a joke, you cannot call that crème brulee...running and with no crispy top.

We dined here on a Wednesday evening, i am not sure what was going on within the seating area but it was extremely hot, very uncomfortably hot, unfortunately a few members of the group had to go outside several times for fresh air & to cool down. Our server done his best but he had a large area to manage which meant our finished plates on both courses were left for quite a while but he was very professional & pleasent at all times.

The Ivy is always a dependable upscale pub. We had a Shepherds Pie and Fish and Chips. After the food was delivered, no one checked on us so we only had the one cocktail ordered at the beginning of our visit (no great service, indeed, but the loss really goes to the establishment as I would imagine that the greatest profit margin is on alcohol.). Otherwise, no real complaints. The food is always dependable.
