The Ivy City Garden
The Ivy Collection’s first site in the City of London features an all-day-dining menu, private dining room, and hidden garden offering a tranquil al fresco escape from the hustle and bustle of the Square Mile. The restaurant boasts a summer water fountain, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows opening onto a hidden garden with its own bar. The Ivy City Garden’s outdoor space has a retractable roof, allowing diners to enjoy the garden all year-round.
Guests are also be able to enjoy our resident DJ; hitting the decks Friday from 6pm to close, all day Saturday and Sunday brunch.
The experience was generally dissapointing as we were sitted in a very tiny table 5cm far from people on both our sites, having lots of free tables with much more space to seat and enjoy closer to the plants and nice area of the restaurant.
The menu is very overpriced and not different of the kinf od food that you would find in any regular pub. I asked for a citrus spritz and was presented as sparkling water with three pieces of raw fruit, probably the worst cocktail that I have ever had, which cost £10.
Service was good, waiters were very friendly but the management of the place in general is poor. Not worth the price at all unfortunately.
I came here with my wife and was not disappointed. The look and feel of the restaurant was great with a DJ playing a great selection of music which suited the evening. Service was spot on, food was amazing. We both had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. A great experience and one I shall hopefully have again.
Amazing vegetarian and vegan menu. Great service and frequently staff. Would definitely come back!
We arrived on time and was showed to our table in a very lovely area. The waiters were on hand taking drink options and asking if we were ready to order, I didn’t felt rush by this and though itv was well thought out because at 9pm, one should be starving. The options were varied but easy bot chosen from.
Food came hot and was delicious.
The overall service was great and I will definitely go back.
Very noisy . Not intimate or relaxing but all else you expect from the ivy chain
Lovely place but is noisy when busy. Food is very tasty. It is a bit pricey but it is in the city so to be expected. Menu had changed since the last time visited and seemed to be alot of fish dishes this time. Would visit again
Very nice atmosphere but the service continues to be a bit chaotic. More organisation is needed!
Good food and atmosphere, great location, generally good afternoon fun place to be
Had a lovely time except two things; one no one checked to see if the food was ok, second one of our two Medium steaks was medium rare and the other was well done. No one came over and was hard to complain as they were busy. Think for the price the service could have been much much better
its pretty good, i find the service a bit odd and they are always desperate to fill the indoor terrace tables which is a bit tiresome. Food quality is good and it is a good location.
We were celebrating a birthday. The food was amazing the service was a little off due to the staff being overbearing and pouncing as soon as we put our cutlery down after we’d finished our meal. It made it for an unpleasant experience in that respect.
Definitely be coming back with my partner and our friends to enjoy the experience we had the food was amazing
I have been to several of the Ivy location before, and this was the worst experience of all of them. We had to ask for our coats to be put in the cloak room, whereas usually they always ask at the Ivy. Moreover, it was incredibly hard to get the staff's attention and we had to wait very long for our drinks to arrive. The food was still very nice, so I would go back to the Ivy, but to a different location.
This is a beautiful space , classy bar and restaurant, lovely basic meals cooked perfectly and at a good price. But there were some reasons that I cannot give more stars. Firstly the music is very club scene and therefore conversation over dinner is a little difficult, we didn’t expect this so early in the evening. (We ate at 7.30) . Secondly service is rushed, food comes out very very quickly and our coffees were served at the same time as our deserts were brought to the table, And finally the cloakroom was disorderly, the reception staff could not find our coats and we had to find them ourselves. We still had a great time, but not as relaxing and elegant as expected.
fabulous food great service in a lovely setting and ideal being so close to Liverpool Street . Will be back for sure
Beautiful restaurant but the food was not worth the price sadly
I have been to the Ivy City Garden a number of times. I enjoy the atmosphere, I love to have pre dinner drinks at the bar and the food is great!
Food was excellent, service was excellent. Sadly the two young gentlemen next to us had three mobile phones each, didn't talk to each other, and played games/video clips on full volume the entire time we were there. I should have asked to move tables, my fault, but perhaps the staff should have noticed too?
Very enjoyable business lunch. Menu provides a wide variety and caters to many tastes. Friendly welcome and service. Tasty food, quick service. Good ambiance, whilst still being conducive to conversation across the table.
The service was slow (over an hour for main courses to arrive) and diners appeared to have been concentrated in one side of the restaurant. Combined with relatively poor acoustics this made for a noisy dining experience. The quality of the food was decent.
Excellent for breakfast, fast efficient and delicious - good choice!
Lovely meal in a fantastic atmosphere. Delicious duck salad starter in particular!
Food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing! However, we was so rushed, sat down and asked straight away what we wanted to drink before even looking at the drinks menu. We then ordered our mains which came out In less then 5 minutes. Once we finished them, dessert menus where given and again asked us 1 minute after, ended up asking for the bill as we felt so rushed.
We thought the 12.5% service charge automatic add-on was rather steep for the time we were there and considered not paying it.. Service of the main course was too fast and we didn't need help to pour out the last half of a bottle of beer.
Food good although butternut squash main a little small.
Great food as always, lovely atmosphere
Amazing place.. Was greeted by a friendly lady on entry and the waiter was attentive and very helpful. Loved the amibence of the place and my fiancee loved it also.
The salted bread was outstanding along with the beef sandwich (brunch menu).. The malted banana ince cream on choc brownie was literally the best pudding I have ever had!!
I would highly recommend and was perfect start to our new years and my planned marriage proposal later in the day.
Thanks you Ivy city Garden
Went at 10pm for a late dinner and drinks with my boyfriend for New Year’s Eve and really enjoyed it! Waiters were really friendly and loved the design of the restaurant itself. Really nice in there, will definitely go back!
Lovely and lively venue suitable for all ages. Really good food in a great location near to Liverpool Street station. Been here a few times now and will be back again
Excellent New Years Eve.
Great food and drinks, very efficient service. Would go again
We had a brilliant experience visiting the Liverpool Street restaurant. Food was very good as was the wine. Nice ambiance with plenty of time to enjoy our meal. Will go again as there are many more dishes to try. Very pleased with my Duck curry.
The food was lovely but the service was slow. We waited ages between starters and mains. Plus, you're not in charge of your own wine, which is really annoying. We'd probably have had a second bottle if we were allowed to pour ourselves! Great ambiance. Would certainly visit again.
Beautiful place, delicious food and good service. We will come back soon
Excellent lunch (and also dinner) here with some friends. It was both in the same day as we were here for 7 hours!! Great catch up, ambience, service, food, location etc etc. It literally ticked all the boxes. Will definitely be back!
Lovely meal and good sized portions. Very busy which made noise levels very high. Service started off great but then went a bit downhill- had to ask for the bill several times.
Not very pricy at all and food is ok. Nice place for a friend get together. Service is good when they are not too busy. Go ahead if you would like to enjoy the natural garden setting.
Would not return as the manager and receptionist managed to ruin the occasion for my son's birthday. Their attitude was horrible and no cake was brought to my son as promised.
The food did not disappoint as always had the salmon for main was cooked very well
The service was not great we were placed on a table in the terrace area which was very cold when we asked for a new table it took really long to reseat us. It was downhill from there the service was really slow and our server failed to put our starters order through
