The Ivy City Garden
The Ivy Collection’s first site in the City of London features an all-day-dining menu, private dining room, and hidden garden offering a tranquil al fresco escape from the hustle and bustle of the Square Mile. The restaurant boasts a summer water fountain, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows opening onto a hidden garden with its own bar. The Ivy City Garden’s outdoor space has a retractable roof, allowing diners to enjoy the garden all year-round.
Guests are also be able to enjoy our resident DJ; hitting the decks Friday from 6pm to close, all day Saturday and Sunday brunch.
Stunning restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. Really good value too considering the type of place you’re in!
Lovely experience food and drink was amazing, Staff were lovely and friendly and service was outstanding, definitely recommend!
We were celebrating a birthday and did not receive the candle I asked for.
Score of 4 stars given due to slight poor service. We constantly had to request that our glasses be topped up from the bottle of champagne ordered and wait for order to to taken
Lovely atmosphere and beautiful food, had a great time
Very good food and service.
Will visit again for my G&G!
Very lovely place well taken care of. Food was very good as well as the service. Would definitely recommend it for a meal with friends or family!
This is my first visit back to The Ivy City since lockdown and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent, great table, nice restaurant buzz without being too noisy. Remains a great venue for lunch in the City.
Great value and food up to normal high standards. Would definitely recommend.
Pricey drinks! Good atmosphere, good service and good food.
Great first experience for the decor and ambience. Food was average. Small portions for the price. Very expensive and the 12.5% service charge ups the price considerably on top of food and drinks.
Apleasnr lunch in a beautiful environment. We, will visit again
Went there for a friend’s birthday and absolutely loved it. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive. I’ve been fortunate enough to have been to a couple of the other Ivy’s but I have to say the Ivy City had a lovely comfortable and relaxed feel to it. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to my next visit.
Fabulous. Took my partner here for a birthday breakfast. Service was great and they even brought out a little birthday pastry as a surprise for him. Lovely food and a great spot in the city to dine.
Food & service always perfect at the ivy garden!
The food and service was amazing. Little noisy but this could be just that we are not used to noise after lockdown.
Love being treated to dinner at the Ivy by my boss. Therese
Very disappointed i have used this venue on a number of occasions, the most recent 2 weeks a go, and it has always been very good, yesterday was a serious let down. The waiter who brought the water didn't take a drinks order and it took 10 mins to attract another waiters attention, this was a theme throughout the meal. The 3 prawn cocktails were very good, and a fillet steak was OK. However my veal rib eye, which i assumed at £25 would be a veal steak, was just odd slices of meat and gristle piled on top of some mash. The lobster linguini was very light on lobster and the shepherds pie was very small. Combined with the slow and poor service it made for a very poor experience. May be more waiting staff and less red dressed greeters would a start.
Absolutely faultless, we all thought the same. I am a regular and know that is always excellent. Thankyou
Good value for decent bistro food in the City of London but can get a bit noisy
I could only book for 11.15 so when we arrived we realised it was the breakfast menu. It was my sister’s birthday so we asked if we could have the lunch menu, the lovely waiter asked the chef and said it was ok! Food and wine were lovely, better than when we came before lockdown March 2020. Have booked to return in July for my other sister’s birthday!
Birthday breakfast was a great experience from start to finish. It was our first visit to the Ivy garden although have been to Ivy Asia and Ivy in the park would highly recommend and will definitely go back to try the evening menu.
The place was terrible warm.
They don’t have Fans go help with the weather.

Yellowfin tuna carpaccio to start then monkfish and prawn curry. Chocolate bomb to finish

Amazing service at the reception desk, ladies were lovely and welcoming. Great food, decor and service.
Well organised in general and polite and well trained professional staff. Great ambience and decor. Fab toilets. All round great venue for lunch
Fabulous birthday treat.
A lovely place for a special occasion
My friend and I had a delightful (birthday) evening. Food and service were great and it's a beautiful space to boot. There's no problem here.
Dined there Saturday with my wife and yesterday with my 18 year old son. Fabulous both times and both felt like an occasion even though we weren’t celebrating anything in particular.
Amazing looking restaurant.. that alone is worth a punt
Beautiful setting, great food and lovely service.
There was a good choice of food and drink and ther service was attentive and professional
Had a absolutely delicious meal Tuesday 15 June, we both had scallops they were delicious, I opted for the Ivy Hamburger with added cheese which was lovely.. my friend had the monkfish and prawn curry she also loved her..I had a lovely cocktail..Pina Colada.. it was my friends birthday which I mentioned when booking, the waitress presented my friend with a lovely little cake with a candle on..lovely touch.. lovely welcome to the restaurant, great staff, left satisfied and would definitely return. Thank you
Service was very abrupt and not conducive to a nice evening. Food was good but a bit more friendly staff would go a long way
Lovely food and whole experience was very enjoyable
We had a lovely relaxed Sunday lunch. Noise level was quite high but we was not rushed in anyway. Delighted to see the return of the shrimp and avocado burger my absolute favourite!
Will be back again soon
Our first visit to the city Ivy was an enjoyable one on a very hot day. I didn't know until recently that it would be open on a Sunday. Good choices for the Sunday brunch menu and we expect to be back very soon.
I had heard of the IVY restaurants, the food here was great with a nice vibe about the place. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and our host Silvia noticed a larger table was available in the garden area so she kindly upgraded us. We picked the place because it has a large number of positive reviews, and I see why. The staff were very kind and attentive, the food was on point, portion sizes were good and the drinks kept flowing.
Food was mixed. One parties main was very good, others was lukewarm. Starters were both hard to eat and contain shell within. Service started off very good, cleared the table from our mains quickly but we waited 30 minutes with our dessert menus with no one taking our order. So we asked for the bill which came promptly and we left without having a dessert which we both would’ve had, had the service been more prompt.
The Ivy City Garden is a favourite haunt of ours. This time I enjoyed the lobster linguine followed by the chocolate bombe. Plenty of lobster with the linguine and a bit of spice, some tomatoes and a little coriander make this a very tasty dish. If you like sweet chocolaty deserts, the chocolate bombe is for you!!
Tables were well spaced, service was friendly and efficient. It was a little noisy thanks entirely to the proximity of a lady determined to dominate the conversation on a neighbouring table with her loud high pitched voice. But otherwise there was a pleasant ambiance. It's a very short walk from Liverpool Street Station.
