The Ivy City Garden
The Ivy Collection’s first site in the City of London features an all-day-dining menu, private dining room, and hidden garden offering a tranquil al fresco escape from the hustle and bustle of the Square Mile. The restaurant boasts a summer water fountain, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows opening onto a hidden garden with its own bar. The Ivy City Garden’s outdoor space has a retractable roof, allowing diners to enjoy the garden all year-round.
Guests are also be able to enjoy our resident DJ; hitting the decks Friday from 6pm to close, all day Saturday and Sunday brunch.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing service and food
Everybody in our party had a very enjoyable meal and experience .
I had taken my Grandmother for her birthday and the food and service was amazing! She was very pleased with her little cake and candle that came out as well! The only thing I would say is it was a little loud but it was to be expected for a weekend. It did not ruin our time at all but some may not be the greatest fan of this. I will definitely be returning!
Superb service and an incredible ambience. Certainly do this again when in London.
The service was outstanding, but unfortunately didn’t enjoy my dish.
Amazing food as always. Best fillet steak
This is a lovely venue and food was delicious but it just lacked a bit of personal service. There was no conversation or interaction with the staff. I think they were just way too busy.
Great food served in comfortable, attractive surroundings by friendly staff - what’s not to love!
It is a fun restaurant to go to, with good food and a lively atmosphere. If you prefer somewhere quiet where you don't have to raise your voice to talk then this is the wrong place for you.
Food was good but that was about it. The service was terrible; slow and had to ask for the some things more than once and they didn't arrive at all. Waiting staff seemed bored and very unfriendly (only the receptionist was nice as we arrived and left). Noise level was dreadful, we were a group of 5 squashed onto a small table and most of the time could not hear each other speak!
Leaving lunch, 4 ladies, drinks were great, staff were attentive but but over the top, did was delicious can't fault it!
Dry pleasant and helpful staff. Service prompt. It not rushed and great ambience
The place is fantastic and I would definitely book again, however, unfortunately a couple of the breakfasts were served a little cold, one with burned toast, and an apple juice that was ordered didn't get served. Other than that, it was great!
I’m a semi regular at Ivy that has come my go to place to eat out. This time around the service was super slow. Very friendly but took ages to take orders, clear plates and no one asked if everything was ok.
This restaurant is very handy for Liverpool Street Station. The decor is wonderful and the food was very good. I had the curry and a very rich desert. Drinks were good too. The service was perfect. I would return.
Location great and décor wonderful. Table location given was rather poor as we were stuck in the corner and out of the way. Very busy at lunch time.
Food good quality although menu is designed to be able to serve lots of customer in a short period of time.
Reasonable value at approx. £40 per per head for 2 courses plus coffee
Great venue, great ambience, food and service was exceptional! Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended.
Waitress had a bad day and was upset, she needs to cook down. Costumers are in a different mood that has to be respected.
We went to the Ivy for lunch. The staff were not very attentive and appeared busy without actually looking after anyone. I ordered the avocado benedict. Was nice, but not warm. The restaurant looks great and it was busy at midday on a Sunday, so the atmosphere was nice.
Went for brunch. Terrible food - cold and tasteless
Great place to dine with excellent service. Ibe been twice. Looking forward to my next visit
Have eaten at The Ivy City Garden on quite a few occasions and have never been disappointed. Always on our list of venues.
Good Food and Drinks! Great service, was just a shame that I was not able to bring in a balloon for the table to celebrate my recent engagement.
Very welcoming. Fantastic ambience and delicious food.
Nice environment and good service but the food was average- muffins used for the eggs benedict were stale and burnt!
As you would expect from a branch of The Ivy there is nothing to complain about here. This is a large restaurant run with ruthless efficiency and serving delicious food. I am not normally keen on restaurants this large and busy but, slightly against my better judgment, I love it and will return frequently!
Always a safe choice when recommending to friends as there is plenty to choose from on the menu catering for all tastes. Great service and atmosphere. One of my city favourites.
The restaurant is beautifully appointed and very lively in atmosphere. The food was very good and we enjoyed the experience. I have also visited the Ivy brasseries in Cambridge, Guildford and Harrogate all of which I preferred. The staff were far more personable and interested in you as a customer at these brasseries. It may be that this city venue is very busy and staff have less time to be attentive. Having said that our main waitress was extremely pleasant and personable.
I have recommended this particular restaurant to a number of friends however was disappointed with overall experience when I came on Friday.
I brought along three friends who had never been, the food was okay, service wasn't great, we kept on having to ask for obvious things you would expect from the people who were serving, ie salt and pepper, cutlery, our table to be cleared.
Mt friends exact words were, they would not go back in hurry.
I still like the venue so will put it down to a bad day at their office
I am dairy allergic and meat intolerant and was disappointed with the choices l was offered. I was told even the chips contained milk as the fish was cooked in the same oil. Never been told that before. Missed not having chips! Food l ate was good.
Very nice atmosphere, food was very good my steak was cooked perfectly. Not over priced for a good restaurant in the city. Will defo go back.
Fantastic setting, lovely staff and food. Felt a little rushed
Love this place, the decor, the ambience etc. Slight annoyance as our waiter was very attentive at the start but then seemed to forget about us when the restaurant got busy. But overall, always a great experience
Really lovely experience, stones throw away from Liverpool street. I wanted a lobster royale, not on the menu and they made it specifically for me which was really nice as I couldn't have the other lobster item on the menu. Friendly, kind staff. Very impressed.
Table not ready when we arrived, the first round of drinks took a long time to come, once we did sit down we felt rushed, food was ok but expensive for what you get. The interior was nice and the place was very buzzy.
I can not fault the food or our waiter, my only groan is that we turned up 30 minutes early, which was fine, but the front of desk failed to inform us that it was 2 hour table service - this was disappointing as we were planning on having drinks after our meal. Staff were apologetic, just soured our evening some what.
Very relaxed and nice atmosphere. Quite busy and a little noisy but overall a great lunch
I have visited The Ivy City Garden once before and as a result made a booking for myself and five very old friends. We meet three or four times a year taking it in turns to chose the location. The Ivy was, in my opinion, one of the most enjoyable places we have visited (and there have been many) and exceeded our expectations with regard to ambience, quality of food and not least service.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to The Ivy City Garden. The service, friendly staff was matched only by the very enjoyable lunch. I will certainly be recommending my family and friends to visit this restaurant.
As always, the Ivy provides excellent quality food & no shortage of options to make making a decision tricky! This was my first visit to Ivy City Garden, and I was a little disappointed, and surprised, by the leaking roof and 'caution wet floor' sign in the middle of the dining room, luckily, not by my table. The service was ok, our waiter didn't speak great English and when asked a question (nothing too strenuous), had to get a colleague to serve us instead. A nice and attractive venue, but seems like there's still some kinks to be worked out, which is surprising as it opened two years ago.
