Went here for lunch while visiting my daughter in London. From the moment you walk in the staff are extremely friendly and professional. Good choice of food on the menu to suit all tastes. Only comment, we were a part of 3, our table was very small and it would have been nice to be seated in the open part of the restaurant.
Amazing food and service! Recommended to friends and family who have already booked
Staff really went the extra mile to work around train times, friends flight delayed into Stansted and me catching late train back to East Anglia.
Food very nice, as a country boy I thought starters were expensive and I never like + + for sides, but it's central London with high rates, rents and staff.
Overall excellent evening.
The service was great, but we felt the food was really over priced for the quality and portion sizing.
I came here on a Friday night with my sister to celebrate her 30th birthday and we had a great time! The atmosphere was very lively but not too loud, and the service was friendly and attentive. We loved the setting too and felt like we were walking into a little secret garden in the middle of the City of London! Thank you also for treating my sister to a complimentary birthday cake complete with a candle - it was a lovely touch.
I will definitely be back and would highly recommend!
I recommend The Ivy for afternoon tea. Food and service very impressive.
I've been to several of the Ivy restaurants and whilst pricey would not hesitate to return. Loved every minute of it apart from the noise levels which seems to be part of restaurant dining these days!
As always wonderful food and buzzy surroundings made for a wonderful evening
Lovely meal with great ambience..
Service was attentive and polite.
Had a lovely evening x
Food was served and a small wiggly beast was in one of the salads. This was advised and apologies were extended. The rest of the meal was good and all of the food was not charged at all.
Another very good experience at this popular restaurant.
Good venue and nice atmosphere but staff a little stuffy.
The food was good but the service was bad.
This is my 2nd visit to the restaurant and would be my last.
It was a family dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I made the booking online and left a message about the birthday occasion in the special request section.
We brought a birthday cake with us and the receptionist made it clear that they would not serve the cake at the restaurant (which is fine by us). When she asked if we want to leave the cake in the cloak room, we said we would like to keep it with with us in case it got smashed up. She was extremely rude by repeating (at least 3 times) that we are not allowed to open or present the cake at the restaurant. We were very much offended by her attitude as if we would disregard her words and wouldn’t play by the rule.
The service was very slow and hard to get any attention to get our drinks and food order taken. We were also disappointed that there wasn’t any birthday little something as a gesture (that almost all restaurants do) to give us the chance to sing the birthday song and celebrate the moment.
I will not recommend this restaurant to friends or colleagues.
Buzzy atmosphere and good food with excellent service - not happy though about no sugar snap peas in the Seedlip (they MAKE it!) due to “no deliveries” yet the chef served them in a side dish with the meal!! I guess one was a drinks garnish (free) and the other a side dish sold at £3.25!!! Hmmmmm not good guys
Indifferent service; lots of staff who weren’t focused. The Blackened Cod in Banana Leaf came neither blackened or in a banana leaf. It was a piece of flaccid, tepid grey on a dinner plate. Lukewarm chips. Disappointing.
Good City of London restaurant venue for a business lunch in recently opened branch of the Ivy
Lovely decor throughout and nice indoor/outdoor ambience with plants and glass walls. Great food and service made for an excellent get together location in the City.
The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable and will definitely return.
Wonderful light venue with great food. Super venue for a business lunch or social occasion.
Fabulous place , great value for money ...a perfect little gem within walking distance of Liverpool Street
Went here for brunch during a weekend away, food and atmosphere was incredible. Would love to go again
Seating was beautiful and the whole ambience was really warming for Brunch. Service was attentive and food came really quick. Tasted amazing - will definitely be visiting the other branches!
Amazing place. Food was delicious and staff was the best ever ! Really nice for a date
Will definitely come back :)
Another great evening at IVY CITY GARDENS, great service and food, good quality and very tasty.
Very good experience, great food and excellent service. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and service as always. Best spot in the city with great decor and top barman. Lovely spot in the open terrace. Well done again
Great night for my daughters birthday - lovely food and great service from our Portuguese waiter
Loved everything about it, especially the food and ambience, can’t wait to return.
I frequented your establishment a few time as it was recommended to me. I brought along my God daughter as a special treat and she loved it.
Our firs visit for our 12th anniversary after the theatre so was there around 5.30pm which was a perfect time as not busy, not too noisy and service was spot on. Will definitely be going back!
Really enjoyed Saturday brunch with friends. Food was excellent, lovely relaxed friendly atmosphere, will definitely go again
The staff were very attentive, polite and friendly. We were not rushed in any way. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. It was good value for inner city London dining. I would highly recommend this restaurant but do book in advance.
We've had an excellent evening at The Ivy City Garden. The menu choices were varied and the dished ordered were delicious. Really enjoyed the seating outdoors. You don't feel like you're in London anymore.
Great place with buzzy ambiance. I was disappointed with my chicken salad which was on the dry side. It was nicely presented though. X
Had one mineral water one cocktail and two delicious power up drinks soup and the most difficult eat sour dough bread to slice. I had the cappuccino cake which was delicious before spotting a bitter taste it was the chocolate cappuccino sauce that had been burnt all in all very over priced and was not the enjoyable meal I wanted
Good ambience but food bland and specials (you are not told the price) very expensive
The service was impeccable
I love this place. I have been a few times and will undoubtedly go back. But they had an off night. The waiter struggled a bit and I sent a steak back for being over cooked. They brought another that was just the same.
Everyone has a bad day occasionally
Good atmosphere although can be noisy if in parts of the restaurant. Good variety on the menu, tasty food. Service can be a little slow but generally warm & helpful staff
