Fantastic food, service and decor. Would highly recommend it.
Fantastic setting, great food and a brilliant cocktail list. We will definately eat here again.
Prawn / Lobster cocktail was great but all the good stuff at the top and then a bit dispointing as you got through it. Always good to end with a high. Monkfish curry was great but a little more Monkfish would have made it great. Wife’s fish of the day was slightly dispointing. Apple tart was excellent. Chocolate Bomme was great theatre but not as tasty as the apple tart.
Service was just right. Wine list (by the glass was good). Liked the Ivy Bottled Beer.
Had afternoon tea and fully enjoyed the whole experience. The food, cakes and drinks were all really tasty. The service was great. Will definitely be back!
Really great food and fabulous service. We all had a great time and would definitely go back! Reasonable prices too for the calibre of restaurant.
Went for brunch and catch up. Good level of service and attention, perhaps a little too much as two persons were checking in on us and we had to repeat the formalities a couple times. Prompt and accurate service. Good food, well presented and hot. Cocktails also good! Ambiance was lovely and nice view of the garden and water features too.
Lovely space to eat in and lovely food. Shame it’s not open earlier at the weekend for breakfast!
A lovely restaurant, very friendly and accommodating staff. It was a bit noisy and although they had a dj he tended to play the same music which was a bit like chill Ibiza type music! Food was lovely, and we weren't rushed at all which was nice. We were able to have the table for as long as we wanted. We were celebrating my friend's 50th birthday.
A fantastic evening celebrating our 13th Anniversary. Food and service were exceptional.
Birthday meal for 2 of our party of 5. Friendly warm greeting, shown to our table and seated. Not at all rushed. Cocktails and champagne ordered, starters and main courses but couldn’t fit in a dessert. Everything was delicious and even though the portion sizes aren’t huge, the food was tasty and filling. Menu is varied in choice and price and there is something for everyone.Waiter was very friendly and brought out 2mini birthday candle desserts which was a lovely touch. Definitely will return.
Love everything about The Ivy City Garden. Can’t wait to go back ...
As always a lovely lunchh. I had requeted a table with a bit of space and they did not disappoint!
I was seated in the ‘outside’ area this visit, under the retractable roof which is a bit quieter than the main dining area and there is a bit more space here. The service remains friendly and good and the food is well prepared and very good.
Friday morning breakfast for a birthday. The service was great, the choice of food and drinks is excellent and all great value.
Highly recommend the vanilla shakerato and the eggs benedict.
You can always rely on The Ivy for great service and food. Breakfast is particularly good value.
Another good meal at a busy and well organised restaurant. I will return.
Great service as always and the food was lovely and the cocktails even better. The service was great, the staff are very polite and attentive. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.
Lovely dinner with two old friends. The noise level was very high initially but by tennis hit was fine.
Service was superb. Will definitely return!
Food great; service great. When we arrived we were seated beside an incredibly noisy table although there were many others available. The other party left after 30 mins so it was much better then however tables were still available which, with some thought, would have been better to place us on.
Great atmosphere but the noise levels got a bit too much to hold a conversation. Very big menu - probably too much choice! I’d rather see fewer dishes and know that they were cooked to perfection.
We had a great business lunch here. Sevice was attentive. Our group had various dietary requirements all of which were given attention and met by the serving staff and kitchen. The decor and the atmosphere was great. We were very pleased.
Good service, tasty food, nice setting. Little bit pricey
Went here for lunch while visiting my daughter in London. From the moment you walk in the staff are extremely friendly and professional. Good choice of food on the menu to suit all tastes. Only comment, we were a part of 3, our table was very small and it would have been nice to be seated in the open part of the restaurant.
Amazing food and service! Recommended to friends and family who have already booked
Staff really went the extra mile to work around train times, friends flight delayed into Stansted and me catching late train back to East Anglia.
Food very nice, as a country boy I thought starters were expensive and I never like + + for sides, but it's central London with high rates, rents and staff.
Overall excellent evening.
The service was great, but we felt the food was really over priced for the quality and portion sizing.
I came here on a Friday night with my sister to celebrate her 30th birthday and we had a great time! The atmosphere was very lively but not too loud, and the service was friendly and attentive. We loved the setting too and felt like we were walking into a little secret garden in the middle of the City of London! Thank you also for treating my sister to a complimentary birthday cake complete with a candle - it was a lovely touch.
I will definitely be back and would highly recommend!
Outstanding! Fabulous - One of the great Ivy Cafe/Brasseries
I recommend The Ivy for afternoon tea. Food and service very impressive.
I've been to several of the Ivy restaurants and whilst pricey would not hesitate to return. Loved every minute of it apart from the noise levels which seems to be part of restaurant dining these days!
As always wonderful food and buzzy surroundings made for a wonderful evening
Lovely meal with great ambience..
Service was attentive and polite.
Had a lovely evening x
Food was served and a small wiggly beast was in one of the salads. This was advised and apologies were extended. The rest of the meal was good and all of the food was not charged at all.
Another very good experience at this popular restaurant.
Good venue and nice atmosphere but staff a little stuffy.
The food was good but the service was bad.
This is my 2nd visit to the restaurant and would be my last.
It was a family dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I made the booking online and left a message about the birthday occasion in the special request section.
We brought a birthday cake with us and the receptionist made it clear that they would not serve the cake at the restaurant (which is fine by us). When she asked if we want to leave the cake in the cloak room, we said we would like to keep it with with us in case it got smashed up. She was extremely rude by repeating (at least 3 times) that we are not allowed to open or present the cake at the restaurant. We were very much offended by her attitude as if we would disregard her words and wouldn’t play by the rule.
The service was very slow and hard to get any attention to get our drinks and food order taken. We were also disappointed that there wasn’t any birthday little something as a gesture (that almost all restaurants do) to give us the chance to sing the birthday song and celebrate the moment.
I will not recommend this restaurant to friends or colleagues.
Buzzy atmosphere and good food with excellent service - not happy though about no sugar snap peas in the Seedlip (they MAKE it!) due to “no deliveries” yet the chef served them in a side dish with the meal!! I guess one was a drinks garnish (free) and the other a side dish sold at £3.25!!! Hmmmmm not good guys
Indifferent service; lots of staff who weren’t focused. The Blackened Cod in Banana Leaf came neither blackened or in a banana leaf. It was a piece of flaccid, tepid grey on a dinner plate. Lukewarm chips. Disappointing.
