The Ivy City Garden
The Ivy Collection’s first site in the City of London features an all-day-dining menu, private dining room, and hidden garden offering a tranquil al fresco escape from the hustle and bustle of the Square Mile. The restaurant boasts a summer water fountain, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows opening onto a hidden garden with its own bar. The Ivy City Garden’s outdoor space has a retractable roof, allowing diners to enjoy the garden all year-round.
Guests are also be able to enjoy our resident DJ; hitting the decks Friday from 6pm to close, all day Saturday and Sunday brunch.
Lovely lunch excellent service busy vibe, desserts fabulous, truffle arancini and Zucchini fritti amazing
Lovely lunch with great food and cocktails.
Could not fault.
Amazing night, beautiful venue, food and great service.
Great atmosphere and the service was quick with excellent food. Glad we went there.
Great food, service, what more can you ask for.
Arrived early, and our table was ready.
Efficient service, not intrusive.
The quality of the food was exceptional.
Another very good meal at the Ivy City Garden. The ambience of the restaurant adds to the superb food that is presented and served with professionalism and sincerity. A great evening.
Put at the worst table of the restaurant, sat on garden furniture looking in. We commented it was like being sat in the cheap seats looking in at everyone else.
Food came so quickly we hadn't even finished our first glass of wine so much for a leisurely dinner. Staff faffed around several times at the table next to us and left us asking for more wine to be poured. Location of our table meant we had passersby ogling in at us and we were next to some old high chairs sporting an old carrier bag. Food was good but I was overall very underwhelmed by the whole experience, shame as it was a special occasion for us hence why we didnt make a fuss but also why we didnt hang around for dessert.
Fantastic service in an delightful location. A lovely escape in the city
The menu has the selection of the best traditional dishes, with no pretence of being anything else. From the moment you make your choice, until it arrives, it’s hard to think about anything else. Once your choices is placed in.front of you, it just brings a smile to your face, as the dish is exactly as you had imagined, and you can not wait to start eating. From the first to the last bite each mouthful is blisss
Had a lovely time food was excellent would definitely go again
Very disappointed! Worst meal we have had in London!
Excellent food, as always, but terrible service. Have been here a few times before with a group of friends and always been exceptional but same group of friends this time and vote is that we won't be going again.
Half the party arrived early but no room at the bar so they let us have drinks at our table 40min before our booking which was good. Last person did not arrive until 20min after our booking but staff did not put us under any pressure. A very relaxed family gathering with fine food and good service and atmosphere. Have been once before and second good experience.
Food was amazing but sadly the restaurant has become too popular tables packed too closely together, we felt pressurised to order and food was rushed out to table not a relaxing evening... we have been here before and had a lovely evening but won’t be returning
It is the first time I have been to this branch of Ivy Brasserie as usually go to Tower Bridge or Kensington High Street. Loved the décor and myself and friends said we would definitely return to the City Garden Branch. We all enjoyed our chosen food and the staff were excellent. They looked after us very well but not intrusive which can be very annoying in restaurants. All in all a lovely evening.
Everything was amazing from the welcome down to the last drink. My family and I had a wonderful time. We were welcomed by friendly hostesses and served by an attentive waitress. Food was fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better night! Will come again for sure
Ivy garden is my favourite restaurant in the city. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. Chocolate bomb is a must!
Business breakfast - setting, service and food more than matched expectations.
We dined as a foursome on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was full and noisy; that noise, and the fact that our waitress had poor command of English, obliged us to point to our choices on the menu. And we had to chase up the wine we ordered. Otherwise, service was attentive and efficient. The food was well-presented and tasty, and the ray wing 'special' was well enjoyed. The prices aren't outrageous for the location, the quality of the environment and the food. This was a second visit and we'd go again.
Lovely food, great customer service. I find it very noisy in there so it can be difficult to hold a conversation without having to shout. I would still go again as it’s a good location to meet and every other aspect is fab.
Love the food and drinks here, shame the service is sooo slow
Always loved The Ivy. First time gone to another branch other than the original Covent Garden location, and it was great and buzzy.
Lovely restaurant and ideally located for City types. Food was amazing but quite expensive for a quick lunch. Only slight annoyance was waiting ages for our bill and then someone to take the payment.
Interesting food was well presented although not very hot. Our server was not what you would expect in a top restaurant. No banter, and not much help offered for gluten free options. The cheapest bottle of wine was good quality and good value at £24. The food was a bit expensive. The restaurant looked good but was too noisy for me as I had difficulty here our party talk.
Took my cousin for dinner for the first time to this restaurant and she loved it. Great night and dinning experience.
Excellent food, pleasant interiors but I really do not like being rushed - it was uncomfortably fast from start to finish & didn’t make for an enjoyable evening. Staff are obviously under pressure to turn round tables ASAP- not what I’m paying for...
An oasis of fabulousness! Great food, beautiful decor, a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I visited for a pre-concert dinner date with my Dad, so I wanted somewhere 'nice and posh' but not intimidating or snooty. From the moment we walked in we were looked after and we enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Will definitely be visiting again!
Great service and very good food. We enjoyed our visit
Usually this place is superb. Yesterday the waitress made us feel uncomfortable with her coldness. The food was cold. That said it was rectified quickly.
I placed an order for a burger and it comes with mayonnaise and horseradish ketchup as I don’t like either of those so I requested the burger without them, when the burger arrived it had mayonnaise on it, I advised the server and with no qualms he took it away and got me a fresh one cooked and also brought back fresh chips. I was impressed with the way he dealt with the issue and then when he gave me the bill he advised me that the the burger was on the house, outstanding service, I did not expect that at all, thank you very much
Disappointing. Brought friends in the hope that they would be impressed. Instead, we were told we had to order straight away. The waiter forgot to order my wife’s dinner. And our drinks came after our food. Seemed chaotic even though it wasn’t that busy. Not an enjoyable experience. The food was ok but expensive for what you get.
If you plan to go here and have a baby insist that you keep your buggy with you. The staff advised that I leave my buggy in a designated area. I forgot my handbag in the buggy basket, by time I remembered it had been stolen. There was a camera right above the buggy area but none of staff were able to view the footage till the next day. This isnt acceptable when things like this happen looking at CCTV footage in a timely fashion is of essence. Whilst food was nice my experience was completely tarnished.
Awful background music. Our ages ranged from 16 to 80 and everyone found the constant beat annoying
Beautiful conservatory seating although guests in a deeper part of the restaurant were saying how hot they were. Great service and prompt food arrival. Would recommend a visit nicer than the sister restaurant in Covent Garden
Beautiful restaurant with amazing service and food
Everybody in our party had a very enjoyable meal and experience .
I had taken my Grandmother for her birthday and the food and service was amazing! She was very pleased with her little cake and candle that came out as well! The only thing I would say is it was a little loud but it was to be expected for a weekend. It did not ruin our time at all but some may not be the greatest fan of this. I will definitely be returning!
Superb service and an incredible ambience. Certainly do this again when in London.
The service was outstanding, but unfortunately didn’t enjoy my dish.
Amazing food as always. Best fillet steak
