The Ivy Clifton Brasserie has two private rooms: The Eastern room seats 12 guests on one long table; or 24 standing and The Western room seats 16 guests on one long table; or 32 standing.Natural daylight floods the rooms and the walls are adorned with an eclectic collection of locally referenced artwork and prints, reflecting period drawings of Bristolian architecture and business, not to mention its great railway heritage, as well as the rivers Severn and Avon, port scenes, and some eye-catching Deco images. Excellent service from friendly staff who just knew how to serve customers without being ‘in your face’. The decor is superb as is the food. The only downside is the trek to the toilets. However, this is an experience to be repeated.

We had dinner at the ivy clifton for our 2nd wedding anniversary. It was fab, we were looked after very well and also received a complimentary dessert. Thank you all for making our evening special.

We had a great experience at The Ivy Clifton Brasserie. Despite making last-minute changes to our reservation, we were seated early, and the service was patient and attentive to our group’s needs. The menu had excellent vegetarian and vegan options, along with a dedicated children’s menu. I particularly enjoyed the onion soup and truffle arancini. The décor was beautiful, and we took many wonderful photos during our time together. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and a lovely atmosphere made for an enjoyable meal. Highly recommend for families and those seeking quality vegetarian or vegan dishes.

Been before for afternoon tea had beautiful one BUT THIS TIME VERY DISAPPOINTED TOOK My friends birthday treat I ask for dairy free the choice ended up with vegan soggy sandwiches hardly any cakes Still changed me same price seem a little unfair and tables are very close together it was packed in wasn’t impressed for the price you pay

The service was excellent, from start to finish and the food was very good. We had the fish and chips - much better than most pubs.

A lovely location and lively atmosphere , however despite seeing plenty of staff , service was hit and miss . 15 minutes after arrival no one had asked if we’d like a drink . Drinks (once they arrived) were pleasant . Our entrees were very good however my main course was incorrect which meant that my husband’s main course had to be returned to the kitchen to keep warm while mine was replaced . Then another long wait for a second round of drinks . I expected better from The Ivy Group based on the London restaurant I’d been to several times . This said , one of the wait staff , a young Australian girl did her best to improve things , fetching the second round of drinks swiftly .
