Lovely atmosphere, very busy but enough staff to look after everyone. Food was excellent and we all thought it was a great way to celebrate my sons’s birthday.
Thank you and will see you soon.
Fabulous food & service. Did find chairs abit uncomfortable as they are more like small armchairs without high backs.
Service is wonderful.
Another fantastic evening, so relaxing, the food was amazing, the staff so attentive and friendly and professional as always. Highly recommended!
Nothing special about the food and not keen on the plastic plants
The Conservatory was rather cold at this time in the morning to feel relaxed in. Wonder why we were put in there when the restaurant was empty. Food was tasty and acceptable. We meet up with many friends for breakfast weekly, and this was our first breakfast meet at The Ivy in Cobham.
Yes, one of my favourite places. Only slight criticism was although my pudding was delicious i.e. the banana and caramel ice cream with chocolate brownie, there were some sort of nutty flakes on the top which caught in my teeth a bit and didn't really add anything to the pud! I left them so that sorted that out. Otherwise wonderful.
The restaurant interior is beautiful and interesting. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was good. We had a lovely curry, but it’s one that is offered at several restaurants in the area and I expected something a bit different at The Ivy. It was also several pounds more expensive than the same dish at other restaurants. However, the overall meal was so pleasant that I will go back.
Asked for a quiet area but it was very noisy where we were sat
Great looking restaurant with a nice bar for pre dinner cocktails . Excellent service , great food what more do you need
It was very relaxed and not pretentious like the name might imply. We had super quick service after mentioning that we were on a tight schedule. My meal was delicious. Monkfish and prawn curry with a fabulous chocolate bombe for dessert. The price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.
Interesting menu, beautifully cooked.
Interesting, quirky, decor
A little pricey but worth it!
Lovely birthday evening, chocolate bomb always worth the visit!
Service was unbelievable and a brilliant night to remember.
Big special thank you to Dominic!
Went for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely evening, the food and service were excellent, and they really looked after us for the evening. Would definitely recommend and will go again!
Excellent service, good food and a great atmosphere!
my daughter and I had a lovely afternoon tea and the restaurant was very busy but a good vibe and the service was still amazing. We had a lovely table and our waitress was very sweet x
We are frequent visitors to the Ivy in Cobham. This was my daughter’s birthday celebration and we had a lovely time.
Our rib eye steaks were tough and not very good but the situation was handled well by Bojan (I’m guessing the spelling). Because he handled it so well we still had a great time and it didn’t disrupt the meal.
The service and the rest of the food was very good.
We were in the garden room which was very comfortable.
A very nice lunch, however my main course arrived 5/10 mins after the other 3 diners which was not really acceptable. Staff friendly but not very professional. Did ask for a table in the conservatory when I booked as the noise level is not so high, sadly this was not possible on arrival therefore it was quite noisy. I shall return even though on this occasion it wasn’t the best.
Amazing first visit, very welcoming staff all wished my husband a happy birthday.
The waiter went out of his way to make my gluten free dining the best it could be without me feeling I couldn’t have what I wanted.
Both our meals were just Delicious.
Superb service and delicious food as usual thanks for making our evening
Not very good experience at all.
Over priced for average food.
Venue very dated,plastic flowers.
Not worth for the price we paid.
It was a special occasion, very disappointing.
We had a delightful afternoon at the Ivy Restaurant Cobham. The staff from reception to our perfect waitress was excellent.
The food was delicious & The ambiance just lovely. Thank you.
Excellent - great service and a wonderful atmosphere.
Love the Ivy. My one comment would be that our table felt a little small for 5 people. We were in a round booth by the toilets.
Lovely environment in the part of the restaurant our party of five was seated in, with the balcony above us; particularly good lighting.
We dressed up a bit but didn't overdo it and felt comfortable in the environment.
Waiters and waitresses very attentive and helpful. Service not slow and not too quick. Spent about two hours there for our three courses.
Good menu and quality ingredients. Food hot where it should have been and attractively laid out.
Comprehensive wine list but most choice at the upper end of the price scale.
We spent about sixty pounds a head including wine and other drinks which is a lot of money but felt good value for the environment and the quality of the food and service.
Will definitely visit again.
The food is very consistent every time you visit this Brasserie. Nice experience.
It was good, no doubt. Somehow at £75 a head I expect a little more. It felt like a place running at its absolute capacity. And to be fair it was full, just a missing a few details that separate good from great.
Could not fault the food, apart from the truffle oil dip with the chicken milanaise, was overpowering.
Sorry to say service a little over attentive.
Staff need to smarten up their uniforms, a bit on the scruffy side.
Always nice to go to the Ivy, but I would stick with the Guildford one, which so far has been faultless.
Excellent service from Salvador. Food was faultless. Very relaxed atmosphere.
As ever a fabulous lunch with great staff in a quiet part of the restaurant which was perfect for us. We will be returning as we often do. Many thanks!!
Versatile menu, friendly staff, great ambiance, tasty food & wine. Lovely place to eat & drink.
Lemon sole was over cooked and not fresh
Lovely food, great service .
Celebrating my husband's birthday and I have to say we were so impressed by the service, the venue and the quality of food and drink. They even provided a small raspberry bomb with a candle on top as a birthday cake!! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to celebrate in style and comfort
Brunch at the ivy excellent as usual
Went for an evening with the wife as a birthday celebration..we enjoyed it so much we went again the next day with the family..
This was my fourth visit to The Ivy. I love the relaxed feel to the restaurant. Service was exceptional. Food was amazing. Will definitely be back to try some more dishes as really struggled to choose from such a lovely menu.
Great food. Great service. Lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place
I love it here, despite my mother feeling the need to bring her own candle for her birthday, of course the team had already arranged a pudding surprise for her! The perfect place to celebrate with children. If I could change one thing, having a kids menu would be great.
