You will be able to sample our extensive range of quality food and delicious cocktails at your leisure, seven days a week from breakfast until late, whether you are a local resident or work close by.
For those looking for a little something extra to celebrate with friends or impress at a business lunch, The Ivy Cobham Brasserie also offers a semi-private dining area, seating up to 12 people.
Lovely settings, very attentive staff, excellent selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes. Only minor gripe is the lack of parking but there is a carpark a few minutes walk away. Will definitely go back to the IVY in Cobham.
We were entertaining clients and the evening was excellent enjoyed by us all.
My only criticism is we felt constantly interrupted in the middle of our conversation with the wine waiter. I appreciate being kept topped up, our glasses were never near empty, but would have preferred they waited a just a moment for us to finish a sentence and respond to their presence, rather than being spoken to mid sentence, particularly when it seemed so frequently. I hope this was down to enthusiasm for good service & not trying to sell more wine!
First time to eat breakfast here and was disappointed. Coffee was very poor and at just under £4 too expensive. Avocado and eggs on toast was nice but bland.
Service was good and a pleasant atmosphere but would not go again for breakfast.
Not a great option for dairy free as only had soya milk and no dairy free spread.
Went to The Ivy to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Excellent service, food and ambiance
Excellent service. Cream tea was excellent value for money and refills were free.
Received the battered cod to find two pieces - very well fired. Second piece had hardly any fish inside and what was there had been over cooked. Disappointed.
Normally very good
We found the service very slow and had to ask three times for my grandsons missing dessert (plain yogurt).
The drinks order was also very slow.
I normally rave about the Ivy service, food and especially drinks BUT this weekend I was advised by the bartender that I would get charged for 2 drinks when ordering 1 Pornstar martini (1 for the cocktail and 1 glass of champagne). The recipe requires 60ml of champagne .... really you want to charge me for an extra drink to receive the cocktail I ordered. Without champagne its not a Pornstar .. therefore the pricing is a rip off and ultimately left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). This is excessive and whilst the Ivy would normally be my 'go to' restaurant for a nice night out, I'll think twice now. It's a little thing but guys .. seriously on significant bill for the evening (£250+ for 2) this simple overcharge is foolish. Suggest you rethink it
Great food, service and experience. Would recommend.
Food was over cooked and bland.Toast was hard. It was not worth the money!
Service was first class, food very good and the overall experience very good. Would recommend.
Great venue and value for money. Will definitely be returning!
Rib eye steak was very very fatty, mentioned to staff and they took it away giving desserts on the house (£18) but steak was £35 .
Other than that the place , staff and rest of the food were amazing .
Always a special treat, and expect the cost to be relatively pricey, but you generally get what you pay for! Good menu options, so can manage the budget. Our server / waitress seemed very new and we had to remind her several times that we had asked for drinks / condiments etc. Left with empty glasses for too long.... food was ok (steaks not cooked to order), have had better in my previous visits there. Normally I would have argued the service charge, but it was my wife's birthday and I didn't want to mar the occasion with any awkwardness.
Overall - a lovely spot, and usually great
Excellent service - very friendly. Cosy atmosphere, extensive menu.
We look forward to your next Menu but, as usual, we much enjoyed pour meal at The Ivy.
Everything about our meal was superb, from the service to the delicious food, will definitely be back!
Nice Sunday lunch for my Mother’s birthday - possible so soon after New Year it was not running with full staff but it felt a little more rushed / lacking attention than previous visits; we had a birthday plate that they kindly brought out but they did this whilst we were in the middle of eating dessert and there was no space on the table. However the food was good and we had a lovely time, and will go back.
Lovely celebration for my mum and aunty for their birthdays!
Great night, excellent food, wine & atmosphere.
Good food, nice environment and attentive staff. Exactly what is required of a dining experience.
Nice food, welcoming staff, and nice atmosphere. Everything I have come to expect from an Ivy establishment.
Went with husband, son & daughter in law who were visiting from Spain and daughter and son in law who live in London. Everyone was really impressed with the food and the service. Place was really busy but staff were excellent. Thank you
Buzzy, even on the first Friday after Christmas and new year.
Got a parking space, 2 left. Shown to table immediately, offered water and drinks. I had a starter (tuna carpaccio) - lovely. Then we both enjoyed the roast lamb rump, which came with just the right amount of creamed potato and veg. Rounded off with chocolate Bombe for the Birthday girl plus a complimentary individual cake with a candle! and I had an apple tart with calvados, flambeed at the table.
Overall, we had a lovely meal.
When you walk into The Ivy, it always gives off a lovely Ambience with the decor. We sat in the conservatory which was lovely and cozy. Food presentation and taste were as lovely as usual. The only think I was disappointed in on yesterday’s visit was the dozy service. There were two gentlemen working in this area, one in green waistcoat and the other black jacket. The chap in the green waistcoat was ok when we he did serve us but the guy in the black jacket seem half asleep or not all there that morning! Our needs were anticipated and when we did eventually get served was by the younger manager who was tall.
Wonderful team and atmosphere, quality of meat for the burger was mediocre and the fish and chips very dry however puddings were delicious.
Excellent as always. Great staff, great food and wonderful ambiance
Went there NY Day night. Service was very poor, food was luke warm. Sent it back to be recooked which meant my friend finished her dinner before I started mine. Used to be great there but I wont be rushing back now sadly.
Very slow service and pretty average food. Had to wait quite a while to be seated, they brought the wrong drink and took ages to fix it, generally took ages between courses. Food was fine but portions are small and it's really nothing special.
Booked for breakfast on New Years Day. Although our booking was at 11:00am we were sat down at 10.50am as we arrived early. However we were still given the lunch menu as it was a bank holiday and breakfast finished at 11:00 instead of 11:30. We purposefully went for breakfast so was a little disappointed. We asked our server if we were able to have the breakfast menu and she said no as it finished at 11:00, at this point it was exactly 11:00 and she explained that many of the breakfast items were available on the lunch menu. Looking at the menu however, although there was Eggs Benedict it was now £3.95 more and came with chips ? She was unwilling to let us order from the breakfast menu and made no attempt at going to ask the kitchen if we were able to order breakfast items.
After we received our food we were still waiting for our coffee which we ordered as soon as we sat down. These then arrived around 10mins later after asking another server where they were.
The service from here went downhill as we sat without being acknowledged for around 20mins before we then had to catch someone’s eye and ask for the bill.
This is the second time I’ve visited and the serve the first time was impeccable so I am a little disappointed.
Never fails to please. A nice New year's day brunch!
Adore this chain of restaurants and particularly the layout and atmosphere in the Cobham one. I booked in advance for NYD brunch as my husband worked till late NYE and worked from 1pm NYD so it was a special booking to celebrate the new year. Service, location and ambience incredible as always but vegetarian breakfast not as good as previous (most recently at IVY GUildford). We got cress instead of watercress, a heated tomato rather than properly grilled and a hash brown rather than a little potatoe cake. We were a little dissapointed the breakfast wasn't as special as previous.
We had a wonderful NY eve celebration with you and hope to do the same next year. Thanks Charlotte
Amazing service much better than the London restaurants. Fabulous place.
What a fabulous dinner we had. The live band were superb, there was a lovely busy buzz in the restaurant. Our waitress was great, attentive but not overbearing. We had scallops and the tempura prawns to start, both were delicious. For mains we had the fillet and sirloin steak with creamed spinach and chunky chips. The sirloin was perfectly cooked at medium rare however the fillet was unfortunately medium and not rare at all which was a little disappointing. For dessert we had the chocolate bombs which is the best! Yum!
Great service, lovely food and super service
Wow!! The Ivy Cobham, you never fail to disappoint! We had a wonderful meal and excellent service! Thank you for a fantastic evening
Always a buzzy place with lots of people having fun.
Love the bar and I liked being seated in the conservatory area.
Food always good, not superb but always delicious.
Great menu, delicious food, excellent service.
I came here with my mum for New year's Eve, we've come here plenty of times before with it being such a lovely place to eat and has a great atmosphere, although this time we thought the server was a little rude and you could see she wanted to leave (didn't want to be there) the food was beautiful as always but not much pudding choice. It's always such beautiful food but real shame about the server.
