Service has gone down the toilet
Standards have fallen last couple of times sitting between couples who were more interested in pouting and posing for selfies and photographing their food..menu limited.
Will give it a miss for a while.
Great food and drink as always .. lovely atmosphere
excellent food, v good service v professional, could be a little bit more relaxed and friendly though. Not overly priced. defo recommend, excellent covid safety provisions.
Lovely
Great atmosphere
Good social distancing
Waiter very friendly and efficient
Perfect but for the cost of a rib eye steak €35, pepper sauce extra €5, and fries €6 so a steak and fried €46 seriously and all on lunch time menu. Granted it was a good steak but honestly you got this wrong under any circumstances. We are all suffering the impact of Covid.
We went for a family brunch. All the food was delicious but the buttermilk pancakes were particularly good; really light and fluffy. The service was excellent; friendly, attentive, just the right balance. Will definitely come back and this will be a new Xmas tradition.
First time to The Ivy and it didn't disappoint. Really beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible.
Our evening could not have more perfect. From the moment we walked in the ambience and atmosphere was magical. The tables and other guests were more than adequately spaced. Our children cleard their plates!! This has become our new family favourite and we cannot wait to visit again!
The food was really fantastic and excellent value for money. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. It is always a pleasure to dine here.
My niece and I had a fabulous lunch in The Ivy today.
We got a very warm welcome from the two ladies on the front desk.
Our table was great and we were very appreciative of the safe Covid measures taken by The Ivy.
Tables were very well spaced apart.
Our meals were lovely.
We were served by a fantastic, extremely pleasant waiter called Reagn.
He was exceptionally nice.
Thank you to Reagn and all the staff of The Ivy for another great dining experience at The Ivy - Dublins best restaurant 👏👏👏
Nice experience! Delicious desserts
Lovely lunch in a nice atmosphere. Would go again.
Lovely, relaxing environment with soothing ambience. The lunch menu was varied and just lovely. Everyone must try the courgette fries. Plentiful, delicious and great value. The drinks menu was fantastic. We particularly loved the centenary gin. We book every Christmas and hope to do so for many more.
HAD A BEAUTIFUL BREAKFAST ON THE 22 DEC.. ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL FOOD AND SERVICE .CANT WAIT TO GO BACK
enjoyable christmas ambience
We always enjoy the food, staff and experience! Your barman was kinda enough to come to our table and teach how to make a Negroni cocktail at home! 👌
Food was delicious , however really poor table service, had to keep getting the waiters attention for menus , ordering , drinks etc , given it’s a compulsory service fee , I feel staff should be more attentive. Food was very tasty though.
Great dining experience!
A lovely family dinner, with a really pleasant staff member looking after us. Thank you.
Lovely lunch at The Ivy , one of my favourite places to eat .
Feels very special but not ridiculous prices .
Lovely ambience , lovely food, lovely staff , and fab toilets !!
Don’t like the idea of the service charge, I always rather give a tip myself in person to the waiter/waitress.
Excellent service by both waitress, really enjoyed everything
It was our Anniversary, the staffs were really nice. Food was awesome, staff gave us a free cake saying Happy Anniversary.
Overall service was poor; we ordered eggs benedict and the hollandaise sauce was cold, we asked for chips with the eggs benedict but we were told the chef who cooks the chips wasn’t in!
The food was delicious however the service was a bit poor. We used cash to pay our bill and I was pretty taken a back by a waiter coming to our table and counting the money out infront of us. This was pretty disappointing as everything else was so good.
The food and our waitress were 10/10 however the front of house(male) who came over and shouted at us that we had 10 minutes left just as we got our desert menus and who later shouted at our waitress was such a horrible experience and something I didnt expect from the Ivy. I must admit the manager who came over after we asked to speak with him, did not take on board any constructive feedback and to be honest ran away where we did not hear one apology from him. The level of service aside from our lovely waitress was honestly the worst dining experience I have had in the last few years. One of my only dining experiences this year given covid was ruined by this front of house staff member and I was really shocked at the lack of care from the manager.
Fantastic experience ! Will definitely be back ! Food and staff were excellent.
Staff and service great however almost zero avocado in my meal and eggs in sauce undercooked
Excellent food. Very safe COVID setup and efficient service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Many thanks
Popped in for a drink and a dessert. Lovely atmosphere!
Made feel welcome from the moment we sanatised our hands. We arrived early and the restaurant was busy so the could not take us in, but allowed us to sit out the front with coffee. When we went in, not one flaw could i point out. Staff very attentive and didn't have to lift a finger, only to eat my meal.
Well done to the team at the Ivy.. I'll certainly be back
Beautiful meal with friends to celebrate Christmas. Excellent staff, food was fantastic and we felt very safe as all protocols were strictly enforced.
Lovely place, ambience and food. Very attentive service.
Everything was five stars!
Highly recommend anyone to treat their partner here.
We had a good experience overall, my friend and I went to the Ivy for brunch, it was my friend’s first visit to the Ivy. We both had the eggs benedict, my chips were over cooked, not burned but not far off. My friend mentioned after we ate that her poached eggs were cold but she didn’t like to complain or send them back. Hence the fair rating. I’ve been to the Ivy many times and the food is usually perfect.
Fancy Brunch during Christmas season! We got a seat on the sofa area, and it's quiet despite a huge crowd coming into the restaurant! The food and the service are fantastic as expected. Would love to come again!
Lovely experience.
Great atmosphere in the restaurant combined with excellent service. Food was quick and hot and cocktails were sublime. My only complaint would be that the prices were so high.
An old reliable. Loved every minute as we always do.
I think that the Ivy is consistently of a very high standard, the menu is interesting, food is very tasty, prices are good value for the quality and the atmosphere is always lovely. Staff are very friendly and the service is always excellent.
