Food and service was fantastic would recommend to a friend for a lovely night out. Staff were really friendly and the Shepard’s pie was amazing!
Disappointing overall visit here.
Given wrong menu at start, ordered item then 10 minutes after ordering, I was told that I couldn't order from this menu and was given new menu
5 mins later I was told I could order from the menu. When the food arrived, the waiter knocked my cocktail over the food - had to go back to kitchen.
To top off the evening there was service charge of 12 euro for 3 people.
Disappointing evening. Will not return here unfortunately.
The chocolate bombe is amazing and must be tried to be believed.
Very expensive and everyone felt sick after from the food
Had an amazing brunch here with friends. I couldn't fault the staff or set up. Everyone was so attentive, alterations to orders were no issue whatsoever, and the set up felt very Covid safe. I will definitely be heading back soon.
Hi first of all food and service was great so thanks you and we will 100% be back. I had an issue with where we where seated. We had a booking and we where seated on the noisy side … we saw walk - ins been seated on the quite side .. this was disappointing .. bookings should always get the best seats ..
Lovely breakfast ................... xxxxxxxxxxxx
We ate outside so didn’t get to experience the full Ivy interior dining experience but attention to service was still very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening .
Food lovely. Gorgeous place. Some of the staff were unfriendly and were rushing us a lot! Staff at the hosts stand were much nicer and much more professional. Table service definitely needs work as they were quite rude but overall is a gorgeous place.
As usual The Ivy doesn't disappoint... Absolute gem of a place from decor to menu. Lovely for a special occasion meal or a simple brunch. Cannot fault the food and the Chocolate Bomb is just delicious! Can't wait to return
Great service and lovely food.
2nd visit. Loved it both times. Our server Emily was terrific. She was efficient. Chatty without being annoying and just knew what she was doing!
Fab setting, so pretty outdoor dining. Immediate staff are brill, seemed under pressure and a little under staffed. Front of house quite pretentious but expected at the Ivy. We got two starters and two sides and it was plenty!!! Food is delicious but cocktails are laughable, so over priced! Having said all that, i rate it and always go back so defo worth it for a visit
The traditional Irish breakfast was very nice and the egg was perfect. Service was very attentive
A lovely restaurant, clean, lovely food and friendly staff
Amazing staff and food! Highly recommend! Well done guys!👏🏻👏🏻
Lovely experience. Staff extremely helpful and attentive.
Fab exp, service and food top class
Would highly recommend
We had the most lovely meal to celebrate both my own and my mother’s birthdays! the attention to detail in both the service and the food was fantastic, right down to the little birthday dessert we received at the end! fantastic service all round!
The Keralan Sweet Potato Curry is to-die-for! Waiters/waitresses very pleasant as always.
Food and drinks were lovely, staff were good all round however experience was slightly dampened as a woman approached us and multiple other tables from the street while we were dining outdoors to ask for money to buy a cup of tea and was reluctant to leave us alone when we told her we didn’t carry cash and staff weren’t around at the time to stop her, but overall experience was good aside from that!
Lovely restaurant. Staff are excellent. Food is fresh, delicious and the menu provides a variety of choices--some classics some unusual
Favourite restaurant in Dublin- food is always fab!
Dining at the Ivy is about the stunning space they have created. Being outdoors, with no heating is not the same experience.
Amazing service and was very attentive!
Really nice food. Monkfish and Prawns very tasty.
Great food. Don't order the pastries they are frozen ones not fresh
Everything else was lovely
Birthday meal with friends
Amazing food, drinks & staff couldn’t have been more attentive
5 stars can’t wait to come back
Lovely seating area, food was great with plenty of variety to suite any budget, easy to go on a budget or a blow out. Service and setting was excellent. Only negative to the entire evening was the wine. House wine was awful so we had to choose a higher than expected price to get a decent bottle. Quite unacceptable to offer a house wine for €36/39 which was undrinkable, need to provide a better wine list, better wines and better prices to suit the menu.
We were nicely surprised at our experience of dining at the Ivy for a friend's birthday. The food was gorgeous (asparagus starter on quinoa and grilled halloumi on couscous with aubergine and labneh main) and service on the whole, was really good. I'd recommend.
Lovely ambience, although outdoor dining the set up outside distracts you from sitting on the side of the street and makes you feel like you are in a courtyard.
My husband and I went with our 15 year old daughter. We had the sirloin steak and my daughter ordered the fish and chips and we all enjoyed the food. The service was also top notch. Thank you 😊
I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The staff were attentive and the food was v good.I plan to rebook for next week.
Fab night out with friends -squid starter was supreme mains went down a treat dessert was mesmerizing and we were well looked after -attentive without overbearing -trulyenjoyable
Beautiful food and excellent service. Could not fault our experience- thank you!
Outdoor dining is superb at The Ivy. The staff are wonderful
Reservation was 3.30pm. Arrived at 3.10 for an early drink and upon arrival the gentlemen with curly hair told us to comeback . Definitely an uninviting welcome and my partner was overwhelmed by his rude and insincere manner. Our spirits were re lifted when our waiter ( wearing white blazer ) who was very helpful and provided good etiquette led us to our seats . What followed was only to be described as excellent . Food was outstanding and i most certainly will be returning..
Met a friend out on terrace. Had a wonderful time. Lunch menu could be very good value depending on what you had . Great service . Delicious food. A sunny day helped. Could have sat there all dating sipping champagne, sadly booking is only an hour and forty five minutes.
Always such a pleasure at The Ivy. Consistently delicious food and the nicest staff around, everyone is so kind and lovely. They've really made the most of the outdoor space, it's gorgeous and comfortable to boot.
Highly recommend! Food was impeccable and staff were so friendly and attentive. Will definitely be retuning!
