Lovely ambiance on Dawson Street, nice vegan options, and friendly & prompt service.
Service was great and food was lovely. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return when indoor dinning is back.
Really enjoyed our visit to The Ivy. Top class as always.
Gorgeous breakfast. Service was fantastic and staff were friendly and extremely efficient. Nothing was a problem.
Not good for people with coeliac disease, v hard to discover what was suitable for friend
Food was amazing staff were incredible highly recommended
Delicious food, Very good service !
Good food and good service but was surprised to see a mandatory 12.5% tip added for our table of 4. This would be normal practice for tables of 6 or more
Had a great evening meal here very friendly staff a good menu lovely food what more could you ask for.
Great service and great setup for outside dining.
The usual high quality service expected from The Ivy. Our server was great.
Great brunch menu. The Eggs Benedict is to die for. Quite a tasty Bloody Mary too.
The food was excellent and portions were just right. Good choices in menu. Great selection of wines / cocktails. Looking forward to eating here again
Always love the brunch at Ivy ! The ambiance is lovely, the food is perfect, and service is amazing !
really good food
Lovely evening food was superb and staff are really friendly and welcoming!
The Ivy open table was excellent. Really enjoyed our lunch. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Ambiance good with all diners looking happy and enjoying the experience. We had a 14 month old girl with us and the staff were very accommodating. Overall a lovely lunch and I would definitely recommend it
It was a nice place with a fine dining experience. Would recommend anyone to go, even if it is just once.
Brilliant service and brilliant food
The burger was not the best. It was a little but dry. Steak was nice.
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food !! - Service great!! :)
A lovely experience dining outside where blankets and a heater were provided as it got later. The food was delicious and our waitress was friendly and very attentive. A great experience overall.
First lunch date post lockdown. Situated at a table on Dawson street. Loved the hedges separation between diners and pedestrians. Very little traffic on road now. Great atmosphere and experience. Will definitely be back soon.
Excellent service, food, setting. Will definitely be back. Everything about it was superb.
Good food at reasonable prices. Outdoor tables very well screened from surrounding traffic.
The food was Devine and service top class. Would definitely recommend and will be back
Attentive service, delicious food. Very enjoyable visit.
Buses going by were a little noisy but that's out of control of the restaurant.
Service was amazing, the host was great and very eager to accommodate any requests we had.
I do feel you have to be “somebody special” to receive that extra special attention!! It has happened to us on two occasions now, having traveled a long distance to experience The Ivy. On both occasions we were put on a table away from others. No managers were monitoring our table as I observed at other tables. I can’t fault the food or the ambiance…..it was a beautiful morning on out last visit so we ate outside. It’s such a pity because it’s such a treat to go but has left a sour taste.
My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday meal last night! I have to say I couldn’t recommend it enough! All staff were so polite, food was Devine! We got two complimentary glasses of bubbles since it was his birthday and also they brought out a little cake as a surprise after we had our mains! Such a nice and special touch already looking to book again! Will definitely be recommending to everyone! Thanks for making our night so special.
Our booking was cancelled without the restaurant notifying us. I was absolutely mortified to arrive at the restaurant ready to celebrate my boyfriends birthday to be told my booking was cancelled on behalf of the reservations team due to them overbooking their restaurant without any communication prior. The servers told us to go for a walk and come back within 10-15 minutes. Seeing as it was the first week that restaurants re-opened, everywhere was fully booked and we had no choice but to do so. When we came back we were seated at a table beside the serving station and yet the service was dreadful. We were originally served by a young girl who was very friendly and polite. We ordered two drinks to start and a basket of bread as we waited for our meal. Our meals arrived shortly and there was no sign of the bread, we asked to cancel the bread and a male server abruptly told us that our ‘bread was in the oven and it takes time to make as it is fresh!’. I was taken aback by this, but again I didn’t want to make a fuss as this was a treat for my boyfriends birthday. We had our food and wanted to get dessert. Even though we were right beside the station, we had to ask the servers to take our order. He was very rude and it felt as if he was avoiding our table. There was no mention of the cancellation or no offer of compensation, let alone an apology for the inconvenience. The whole experience was tainted by this and the lack of friendly service. There was also a service charge that was more than 10% which I was not aware was optional. As I paid the bill, I asked was there any actual reason why I was not contacted about the cancellation, the waiter replied with ‘well you were sorted with a table at the end weren’t you?’. The service was horrible and I did not like the attitude. As a result I will not be recommending this restaurant to my friends and I will never come back. Such a horrible way to open a supposedly ‘luxury’ restaurant after 6 months closed.
A lovely evening out, gorgeous food, friendly staff & tasty cocktails!
Lovey atmosphere- food was delicious and service was friendly and efficient- would definitely recommend to my friends
We did feel a little rushed as we had a time limit on the table but had a lovely meal.
The food was disappointing. I had the prawn cocktail and it was no where near its best with limp lettuce and the sauce was more like a mousse than a sauce. I then had the fish and chips and this was equally disappointing. The dessert was beautiful however but overall not an experience I’d like to repeat. The seating outdoors is just ok. There would have been no ambience except for the music coming from a restaurant opposite which was drowned out very often by the noise of the traffic and luas.
Simply gorgeous. 5 for outdoor drinks and dinner. The service is exceptional. Although expensive, I thought it well worth the extra spend for the wonderful experience, service, excellent food, and attention to detail. Would love to go back.
Very nice outdoor experience . Gas patio heater was essential and was nice to have. Service was very food to our table. Overall very good … only blemish was being rushed to finish and settle the bill
Our brunch was amazing, fast and friendly service! The vegetarian menu was very helpful so we knew exactly what we could get (and the pea risotto was to die for).
We had breakfast here on Thursday morning & it was lovely, well presented, very tasty & staff very attentive, highly recommend & can’t wait to visit soon again
All the service was perfect. I’m totally satisfied.
Very good atmosphere, amazind food and drinks, good service, everything is perfect
