    The Jonathan Swift Room at The Ivy Dawson Street seats 32 guests on two long tables or across four rounds. The room is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and canapé receptions for up to 50 guests.The room’s interiors will include colourful artwork and a striking landscape image of Dublin’s horizon as seen from Phoenix Park and St Stephens Green in 1800, whilst the ceiling itself will feature an image of fictional hero Leopold Bloom alongside a host of multicoloured, exotic flying birds.With a selection of menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Jonathan Swift Room is equally suited to private parties as it is for corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners.Complimentary menu cards and place cards are provided for each event and each table is decorated with seasonal flowers and tea lights.

    The ambience was really good on a Thursday afternoon. The restaurant is a fun place to dine. Waiting staff were excellent but the food was slow (not the waiting staff fault). Food was good.

    I like the Ivy, the Dublin Ivy. It gets a hard press some times and occasionally brings it on itself but a sa restaurant it's never really disappointed me. My last visit was fot breakfast. There was a warm greeting at the door, The staff are extremely smart. I was shown to my table. Service was old school courteous and my scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and it was perfect. Dublin is expensive foe breakfast and with the complimentary second coffee here the Ivy compares well. Ambience can make a big difference and the two well dressed ladies in a nearby table enjoying a bottle of prosecco with their breakfast crtainly brought an extra bit of joy to the whole thing.

    My friends and I chose the Ivy for a special breakfast, based on its international reputation. We were disappointed. In terms of asethics, the restaurant is well appointed and the breakfast menu offer plenty of choice. What let the experience down however was the staff memeber attending our table. We were left to feel like an inconvenience, not the special experience we had hoped for.

    Excellent staff, nice atmosphere, great food. All five guests enjoyed the experience. I had the scallops followed by the filet steak and I finished with the whiskey creme brûlée and a flat white….Delicious

    Excellent all round experience. Shepards pie, fabulous. Superb gravy. Steak tartare. Wonderful. Very heavily spiced with horseradish but I love horseradish so it was lovely. Chocolate bomb was a delight as always, a feast for the eyes and taste. Pleasant, professional staff. We were seated at the front glass window with all the other guests. I'd have preferred a quieter spot in the back but forgot to tell our waitress. It was pleasant despite it all! I'd highly recommend trying it.

    First visit to the ivy so wasn't sure what to expect. First off why do restaurants put everyone together when there are so many other empty tables, the tables are literally an arms length apart. We thoroughly enjoyed the food the chocolate bomb was delicious. I'd definitely recommend they get a duster out from time to time I managed to write a heart in the dust behind my seat.

    Millions of staff but very slow service. Forever to order, forever to be served even a cup of coffee or drink. Food was lovely, huge menu, place looks amazing and is a great setting but not worth the expense.

    Brought my mum here m for birthday breakfast and it was so disappointing. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order & when the food eventually came it wasn’t nice at all & very cold. I mentioned this to our waiter but she did nothing?

    Been here many times for dinners. Had breakfast for the first time, loved it. Great portions, not big and not too small. Prices fair, but one small "minus": we asked for extra avocado with our choices. Charged €3.90 each (NB: not on the menu!). Way too much for one avocado than was divided into two portions. Otherwise, happy with the place and will come back again, 100% recommended.

    Had a fabulous time at The Ivy. Food and cocktails were fab. Definitely worth a visit!!! Highly recommend the cocktail “another one please” it’s delish!!!!!

    Food was very nice. Service was very disappointing. Waiter had a terrible attitude towards our table, and was complete distracted. Spilt a full glass of wine onto our table, destroying one of our parties outfits, and into two of our handbags (mine was a cream linen bag, permanently destroyed). No apology, absolutely none.

    Very friendly and helpful staff! Nothing was a problem. Broccoli was undercooked. Had to ask for a steak knife. Wasn't Al dente. Sorted out quickly. Fish was very tasty but over-cooked, crumbled. Hard to pick up the pieces. The white chocolate cheescake was amazing! So memorable. Accompanied by a zesty mango sorbet. It was exquisite!! Will definitely be back...because of the amazing service.     Myself and my husband visited the The Ivy yesterday for our wedding anniversary. As usual it never disappoints! Food was great, as was the service and it had a great buzz around the restaurant, everyone chatting, laughing and catching up. Thank you for a great lunch!

    Very nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion . Food excellent , service very good . The monkfish curry was a hit at our table (best curry ever). The chocolate bombe dessert is a must. Nice selection of cocktails for the people who don’t drink wine. The service is very good( one little hiccup, but nothing major).Overall a great experience and I cannot wait to visit again.

    A group of 4 went for dinner here, food was amazing & presentation outstanding. Staff were professional all the way from the time we walked in the door until we left, everything about our visit was 100%. Loved it & we will come again soon
