Food was delicious... I got the seabase cooked perfectly....service was very friendly the staff were accommodating and patient ...would absolutely recommend xx
Very expensive for what you got. My partner ordered the salmon fillet and it came by itself with a few florets of broccoli. I ordered the lamb rump and it came with very little on the side and in a bowl. If we had not have ordered chips we would have left starving. When we went to pay for the bill we were Overcharged and had 12.5% service charge attached.
Needless to say we won’t be back. Was disappointed
Drinks was great
Food was fantastic
Salt & pepper squid
Salmon fish cake
Chocolate bomb 😍
Service second to none
Would recommend to family & friends
Place is beautiful
Lovely atmosphere. Great food with plenty of choice all day. Reasonably priced. Attentive service. No pressure to give up our table all evening so we were able to have a lovely, long catch-up. Great experience. Will definitely go back again.
A wonderful restaurant , beautiful decor, and fantastic service
Great food, reasonably priced Brunch. Downside was left waiting over 20mins to be seated although there was vacant tables!
Food was gorgeous, staff were lovely, fabulous decor and great atmosphere, would highly recommend!!
Lovely food and great service! Decor is amazing too.
We were a group of six meeting for a big birthday celebration and a great night was had.
Really enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance and the food was delicious. Staff very friendly and inviting too.
Fabulous food and atmosphere. Went for my birthday and was surprised with a mini celebration cake. Thank you!
The ivy is a great venue, the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is wonderful , also to die for cocktails , really friendly staff
was pretty loud, but service was excellent and food delicious.
My chocolate bomb didnt break properly though, which was disappointing.
Fab waiter - and amazing ambience - that’s why it was our 4 time back!
Lovely restaurant will be returning in the future.
Great experience from front door to table and back out again. Excellent food and service. Maybe a tad on the expensive side but that is only slight detractor. Loved it and will be back, if I can get a booking.
Place itself is stunning. Food didn't blow me away. I ordered the lemon sole for main and it was over cooked and absolutely swimming in butter on the plate. Very disappointing. The jackfruit salad was lovely. I would go again but I think I would be vocal if I wasn't happy when there. We felt a bit rushed out at the end also as we only had the table for 2 hours. Bill was €253 between 3 people with one bottle of wine and 2 cocktails each. So not cheap.
Very enjoyable lunch, with ambience and wow factor that massively impressed for the new adult celebrating her 18th birthday.
Booked a table for my partner and me with two weeks in advance stating it was my birthday and our 5th anniversary, even asking for a special table, but nothing different was offered than a very regular experience. Beautiful decor, but very loud music and boisterous people. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Drinks came rapidly. And here the main issue, the food came so fast that we felt we shouldn’t stay there for a long time. Starters came less than 5 minutes after we’d ordered, and the mains 3 minutes after we finished our starters. We had no proper time to enjoy the food and to be ready for the main course. As a result, we got utterly stuffed, like pigs being fed. Food quality, though, was nothing more than Ok. I had a Steak Tartare, it was good, but very very very basic, with a Worcestershire bottled sauce, I was expecting capers sauce, at least. For main I had a Chicken Milanese, completely disgusting, greasy, and tasteless. I lie, it was tasting old oil. I couldn’t finish it. As everything came so fast, almost together, in the end, I was feeling sick. Quite disappointed with the place. I was expecting to have a gastronomic experience and got a fancy fast food night.
Enjoyed the experience but our table was right in middle of two other 2 seater tables which was a bit annoying. Could hear conversation on both sides of us. I had chicken for main which came with chips, husband ordered steak at a lot more expense and he still had to pay extra for sides. Expensive night out.
The Ivy never disappoints for a reunion evening with good friends. Fabulous atmosphere combined with great service and topped off with delicious food make it a "return to" venue in Dublin.
On a wet evening the welcome was warm and we were shown to our table immediately. The waitress handled the process of reminding us about leaving our table sensitively and well - she gave a 15 minute warning by which time we were happily ready to decamp to the bar!
Hip and elegant restaurant, with great interiors. The food was delicious, and the portions generous. Highly professional service. Recommended.
You made my dads birthday so special. Food was excellent as was the service. Thank you
Beautiful modern restaurant with great food & lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend the food & the chocolate bombe is to die for. Very helpful and friendly staff. Overall a lovely place to eat & worth making a booking
Went for afternoon tea with my daughter. Everything lovely. Only thing I’d change is a better selection of sandwiches for vegetarians & offer another pot of tea. One pot wasn’t enough for the two hours we were there. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea.
There's always a great buzz, the food is lovely, extensive menu and good service.
Pre dinner Cocktails are amazing & superbly efficient friendly staff. The food was fab. The chocolate bomb is amazing
It was a lovely night and the staff were exceptional and nothing was a trouble.. The food was excellent and we definitely hope to return in soon!
Absolutely beautiful surroundings, decor fabulous. Food was really delicious, staff were very attentive. Will def be back
I really enjoyed my visit to The Ivy for breakfast earlier this week. I was entertaining a colleague from Boston and wanted to bring him somewhere with great food, a warm and cosy ambience but also private where we could chat freely about business without being overheard. The Ivy did more than tick all of these boxes and the staff were so welcoming and friendly, we'll definitely be back!
Great food, wonderful atmosphere really worth a visit.
Another lovely evening meal at the Ivy. As usual staff were very polite and courteous and the food was amazing.
Excellent and enjoyable experience, took my daughter and her Aunt for her 21st birthday, very very enjoyable, atmosphere and ambience was electric, food excellent, requested window seat and got one which I was most impressed with. Brought out a desert with a candle in it for my daughter which I thought was a lovely touch, have been here numerous times and each occasion seems to be more enjoyable than the last.
Best breakfast in a long time ,thank you , definitely be returning very soon
Good varied menu. Good service. Good vibrant ambience
Lovely room and the food was generally very good. Would definitely return.
The food is amazing in The Ivy, although i have heard that they do not cook a lot of the food on site which is a bit strange. They forgot to bring our chips and we had to ask 3 times for them, they then arrived when we finished our mains. The waitress kept trying to clear our plates and drinks when we were not finished but the decor and the food itself really saves the experience.
Very welcoming, the guy on the front desk was great!
Really lovely afternoon tea...food and service were both outsmarting! The decor is to die for too - Feels like a real treat!
