   Fabulous deco and attention to detail. Interestingly the interior and whole ambience is quite different to some of the other Ivy cafés that we’ve been to. The tables were well spaced the staff are well trained and the food is well cooked. Overall one of the best value experiences for food in Brighton that we’ve had. The noise level is not intrusive and we were served within half an hour of arriving which was excellent as we were going to a theatre show. Thank you.

    Asked for a particular table as special occasion, didn’t get it despite booking weeks in advance. Disappointing. Felt a bit rushed at times to order food and drinks, despite us asking fir time to enjoy the same.

    It was a really nice surprise! We went to the original Ivy in Covent Garden and everything was lacklustre, and not very relaxed. It couldn’t have been more opposite. The staff, the food and the decor! My wife was in heaven for her birthday.

    A really lovely brunch to kickstart my husband's 50th birthday yesterday. Not only did we enjoy a great Ivy Full English, the birthday boy was then surprised with a chocolate profiterole dessert too! Fabulous restaurant, amazing decor (especially the ladies loo!) & wonderful service throughout. Would definitely recommend & visit again!

    I took ladies , some of which had never visited an Ivy before as a celebration of a long awaited outing . The experience sadly wasn’t one which I have become accustomed to at other Ivy venues. The ambiance & value were good but the food & service sadly wasn’t to the normal standard . The latte’s were warm & not hot as requested )the second time they were fine) . My friend who ordered English breakfast tea was eventually given Camomile…. My pancakes were actually stone cold & the replacement dish barely any better but I didn’t want to wait again as friends were almost thro eating . It would appear afterwards upon discussion, their eggs were not hot either ! So sad as some of us had been before & really enjoyed the experience. We purposely chose not to have breakfast at our hotel to allow some of the ladies a special treat . I am a regular at the Ivy Tunbridge wells & know the usual standards & feel saddened that not one member of management asked how things were or checked why I wasn’t eating at the same time as the others . I have emailed the venue , before I received this questionnaire. I look forward to hearing your comments ,

    Never been to any Ivy restaurant before. Booked a hotel in Brighton, close by, The Charm, excellent by the way! The whole Ivy experience was fantastic. Included was a lovely birthday surprise for my partner, totally unexpected! Will definitely return & highly recommend!

    Amazing experience as always in Brighton Ivy! All the team were so welcoming, friendly, prompt and personal. We had our year anniversary and they surprised us with an anniversary cake. The food is fantastic!

    Cool and quirky - nice staff - but very average food especially for Brighton and Hove area. I had the duck curry and was disappointed in the quality and it was tepid instead of warm and freshly served. Others in my party enjoyed their food slightly more than myself (shepherds pie and Asian salad) but nobody was anything more than just satisfied. It’s a shame - it promises more.     As ever with the Ivy, the food was lovely and the service faultless. My only criticism of this venue is the acoustics are poor so chatter is loud. That and the music was being piped in to the restaurant at a loud level made having conversation at the table very difficult. Shame as it rather spoilt the dinner.

    Went to have an ‘ Ivy experience,’ first visit, and the impression on walking in was noisy, and seating very close. Staff were friendly and polite and the food was very tasty, although Keralan sweet potato curry was cold in places ? ( as it was vegetarian and not meat my friend decided not to ask for it to be reheated ). Overall it was enjoyable, the prices were reasonable but we won’t be rushing back.

    We love coming to the Ivy. We come there a lot! We always enjoy the service, the food is delicious and we like the atmosphere and the decor. I would like to bring one thing to your attention there which I feel is a negative. I wouldn’t normally say anything, but on this occasion I feel it is worth noting. It is such a big room, with lots of chatting and noise that exists without any background music. To add a DJ into the mix was just completely unnecessary. All we could hear was the persistent bass, we couldn’t work out what the tune was, and it made our conversation very difficult to hear. We found ourselves shouting over the plethora of noise.The music however in the toilet was fantastic ha ha! As a customer we would much prefer to listen to this rather than an ongoing bass beat which was irritating rather than enjoyable. Please be reassured that we will still be coming back to the Ivy over and over again as we love it so much. I just felt that it was worth telling you about. Hope you’re not offended!

    Service wasn't great - waited a long time for a bottle of sparkling water, even longer for two glasses of wine - waiter turned up with two bottles of wine! - food arrived before water or wine. Food was good except for chips - cold, thought, more or less inedible. The waiter did give us two free coffees in compensation.

    Lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor. Service good. Steak tartare delicious. Cocktails delicious. Sadly thé brioche bun on the burger had caught and was charred. The burger was dry. Shouldn’t have not been acknowledged by waitress. Saved by mayonnaise. Otherwise would have been a 5 star experience all round.
