The food was impeccable and always the drinks were perfect and the service left us feeling catered to and completely at ease. You just can’t ask for more from a restaurant.
I’m so disappointed it’s difficult to convey, great get up but massively overpriced, ordered the special which was a duck curry.
Very little Duck in a Milk sauce 🙄disgusting who thought milk & duck was a palatable combo
Amazing night we loved it here. Lovely decor & atmosphere, staff were very professional , food lovely we had a really good night and will definitely be coming back.
Ever so disappointed with the food . Not worth the wait or the money .
Service was below average we got handed the bill before the plates had been taken even tho no one had asked for it !
Wouldn’t return or recommend
Beautiful restaurant but it feels like a common chain. Some diners were dressed in hoodies, jogging bottoms and even sports cap. Not saying you should be suited and booted but I think the Ivy has lost its elegance. The food is very average, I was expecting more from the quality and the presentation but unfortunately it wasn't quite there. The food was not fresh, it felt like the food was re-heated and there wan't much flavour. The staff were friendly and efficient but that's the only positive. The Ivy is definitely over hyped, there are much better restaurants in London.
We were very disappointed with the service we received.
Sadly the waiter did not speak English, it was very hard to get anyone's attention and we were left waiting for a considerable time. The restaurant was not full so its hard to see why this was the case. The staff had a "not my job attitude" and when we asked for something it was simply passed to another member of staff. Very disappointing service.
Although saying that the food was good as always.
We wanted a low-key but special anniversary lunch for just the two of us. The Ivy didn't disappoint - food and service were excellent, the staff could not have been more charming. The ambience went from laid-back to 'energetic' during our visit and by the time we left it was a little noisier than we prefer - the inevitable result of enclosed spaces, reflective surfaces and lots of happy people having a good time. But that didn't spoil our lunch.
Such a delightful posh little place. My friends and I loved the food and venue!
This was our 4th visit lovely food my only complaint was a service charge of £26 for 4 Adults is a bit steep and will stop us visiting on a regular bases
We had the fish & chips, but were both very disappointed with the quality and did not feel that the food was value for money
Fantastic food the service was excellent. Staff were warm and professional
We had such a fun evening! I tried a CBD cocktail, lovely. But the real winner was the white port spritzer with apricot fizz that my husband ordered. So so good! Not bad pricing for the level of food and service. That’s we will be back.
The miso black cod was disappointing - almost dry. The service was surly - felt like us being there was an imposition. However, the sommelier was very helpful. Have always had good food and service here, so am hoping it was just an 'off' night.
Lovely food great service good value and a beautiful place
Absolutely delicious and decadent breakfast. Lovely ambience. Will definitely be back for breakfast again!
I've already recommended it to a friend, I had a great time and the waiter that served us was lovely!
Excellent and attentive service with great food.
Excellent food and very good service. delicious Tempura prawns
Lovely venue, great ambience and food to celebrate my sisters 50th pre birthday celebrations
The service is rubbish. I also paid for service charged which I shouldn’t have. They didn’t deserve the service charge at all.
We had to ask for menus, we had to constantly look around for staff to help us.
It was the WORST service experience as it’s the IVY you will naturally expect better service.
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere and setting
Great food and service!! Was worth every penny.
We felt very spoilt and had an amazing evening celebrating my birthday!
Thank you to everyone, Music, Food, Cocktails, Service, all amazing.
The quality of food and service was outstanding and the ambiance was perfect.
Anniversary dinner. Arrived on time but had to wait a short while for our table; cocktails at the bar. Good menu; starters from the regular menu, mains from the specials. Shared one (generous) cheeseboard for dessert accompanied by a glass of Port each. Food was very good. Excellent wine list but eye-wateringly expensive (for what we had). We were served by Roxanne, who was outstanding; attentive without being sycophantic, knowledgeable without being overbearing. Advice regarding menu selections was well-proven and well-received. A real gem.
It’s was my mother’s 60th and we all had a great time, the food and service was brilliant, will be going back again
It was amazing. The ONLY thing was as we were leaving. I was in a cubicle in the toilet, A staff member came out of the other cubicle, fixed her hair and walked out without washing her hands. Tbh I didn’t want to think about it, this was the wrong decision but I overthought it thinking she could lose her job. Please remind staff to wash their hands. Everything else was perfect!
The food was lovely and there was a nice atmosphere. The waiter was great, he had lots of good recommendations and was funny to top it off.
Old faithful, never fails to disappoint.
Always busy, so would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Distinctly average. Won’t rush back or recommend..................9
One of the better Ivys. I usually go to the Chelsea one and the service had gone down hill. This one ticked all the boxes.
Had breakfast - pancakes are amazing! Lots of business types there - quite noisy with the chatter but manageable.
Booked the table especially on the back of 'Ivy Canary Wharf' instagram post advertising their special pancakes being served All Day. Arrived at the resturant for our 7:30 booking, doors didnt open until 7:33, - no apology, were told we couldnt have the pancakes as these wern't being served until 11AM, refered the staff to their own post stating 'all day', manager came over, argued the point, no apology, went and spoke to the chef who said he could make them for us.
If this was the experience from McDonalds it wouldnt warrent a 1* or complaint but i expected more when i'm paying £15 for a thin crep and drink.
Beautiful restaurant with fabulous food.
Very good menu, and great service. We had a wonderful dinner. The food was well prepared and presented. I highly recommend this place for dinner in Canary Wharf
Ideal for a celebration or just a good excuse to have lunch with a friend
Great great restaurant!!!! Great food, all good in every aspect 👌🏽
Their service was great but the food was not what I was expected (especially their tea and coffee was terrible). Significant difference in quality level compared to other IVY restaurants in London.
Really lovely atmosphere. The food was of high quality, particularly enjoyed the chips! Beautiful restaurant.
Will come again for sure and I will recommend it .
