Very good service and good value!
Great birthday brunch.
My family and I had a superb lunch at The Ivy. Very attentive service without being intrusive. First class food. My dad is a vegetarian (99% of the time) and they had a beautiful vegetarian/vegan menu containing plenty of tasty choices. Highly recommended.
Only, with the caveat that you either need to speed eat or chase the staff to serve! We ate just two courses but waited a full 30 minutes for our pudding only to be told that if we wanted coffee we had to go downstairs to the bar area as they had guests waiting for our table! This was 10-15 minutes before our allotted time of two hours which they hadn't actually mentioned when we sat down, which would have helped!!
To be fair I have eaten here 4 times, the other 3 during the week with a suit on, but this time PA for my daughters birthday and was hugely disappointed with their surly attitude. However, cannot fault the food as it was delicious and their desserts are sumptuous - hence the ratings!!!
Fantastic service, staff very accommodating, food amazing and a great ambience especially for a Saturday!
The staff did not serve us well. We waited a long time to be served water, after having asked for it twice. Then when the waiter sat the table next to ours down he forgot to give them menus and these customers took the menus off our table without asking which was incredibly rude considering that the rest of our party was due to arrive, further more, one should not take things from another persons table in a restaurant, its very unbecoming. So as a result of his blunder with their menus our experience suffered. Upon ordering our food, the waiter was far too familiar initially he was extremely snooty and then suddenly after the rest of my table arrive he was overly friendly! Perhaps he like my guests more than me despite my lovely compose throughout a disappointing service.
Other than that the he seemed to think it was okay to overhear conversation and participate in it and also put his hand on our table and lean on it. I did not appreciate this.
The food was lovely but ruined by the waiter.
I was so pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to The Ivy in the Park and am very much looking forward to returning soon! My only criticisms would be that it was very warm inside the restaurant and I wasn't asked if I wanted to leave my coat with the Reception staff so had to ask afterwards, as there was no other space to hang them where we were seated. That aside, the food was fabulous, our waiter was attentive and friendly and the drinks and view were great!
Absolutely beautiful interior and ambience, the food was nice but not spectacular. However for the price it’s not bad. Great for those who love instapics as food is very well presented!
Great service, usual good standard you’d expect from Ivy Brasseries.. lovely relaxed supper.
The service is great. They are really helpful, quick and polite. The atmosphere overall is very good.
The Ivy rarely disappoints.
This was truly gorgeous..new venue for me.
Food service and ambiance fabulous.
Went for breakfast, food was very good, the staff ran around a little too often which detracted from the ambience but the interiors are beautiful. 1 glass of champagne was flat (clearly from the previous day's bottle as it was champagne breakfast) but didn't have time to argue about replacement. Loved the heavy teapots.
Will try again fir breakfast without champagne.
Terrace looks lovely for after-work drinks also.
Seated upstairs in a walkway with servers running past constantly balancing dirty food dishes. Main turned up separately, sat for 2 mins and then it was taken away, mine arrived and they brought the same main back (lukewarm) and side didn’t turn up for 3-4mins. Said we weren’t impressed and then got constantly interrupted whilst trying to have a conversation. Refused offer of a free drink as we just wanted to eat without interruption. The whole experience was awful - it felt like they couldn’t cope with the covers. Much better experience at Liverpool Street Ivy. So very disappointed as I work in Canary Wharf and had heard good things about this one.
Fabulous food, service impeccable.
Atmosphere great, although just a little too noisy.
Wouldn’t put me off though!!
Very professional staff and outstanding food. Highly recommended.
Great setting and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.
This restaurant is so beautiful inside, you forget you’re in Canary Wharf! Nice ambience and consistently good service and food.
Steak overcooked. Service ambivalent to say the least
The waiter from Napoli was brilliant. fast service.
Good food and very good service. An enjoyable lunch.
I had an amazing anniversary dinner. The customer service was the best I had ever received in London.
Lovely place, great menu, service was good. The food was lovely, and price was adequate, will definitely be coming back.
Went there for the first time for a birthday lunch and it was absolutely amazing.
We were an hour early for our table but were welcomed and seated within 5 mins. Service and food were both fantastic. Only complaint was that the music was loud which made other dinners talk loudly to be heard. This was our 1st visit and we would certainly go again.
This is my 3rd visit and every experience has been excellent. Amazing staff and great quality food.
Great place, lovely food and excellent service!
All the Ivy Cafe restaurants are great and this one is lovely too. However, the Blackheath one is far superior to Ivy in The Park. This one is also not very child friendly at all, more due to the other patrons it attracts rather than anything done by the restaurant itself.
The service in this place was spot on food was great and real good value for the money
Once again a fantastic meal and superb service. Booked the meal for my birthday and was definitely not disappointed. Can’t wait to return when we visit London once again.
Many thanks to Ridge. His persona, people skills were apparent.
Seated as soon as we arrived. Food and drink was lovely, staff were attentive without being intrusive. Will be visiting again. Thanks for a great lunch
Best chicken I have honestly ever tasted
Wish I had more space to eat it again and again!
Wonderful service combined with the perfect atmosphere.
Four of us went to The Ivy on a Tuesday evening. The ambience was very nice and the food was very good.
Unfortunately the service was not so good. We all felt that the staff were rather miserable and didn't give the impression they wanted to help, were reluctant to take our coats at the cloakroom and the waiting staff weren't as professional as you'd imagine there.
Overall good value for money for what we had.
I really like this place. It is my first time durink business day on breakfast / lunch time. I was in gym clothes. And wanted to enjoy my time and do some work. I do think the maitre could aboid be around so much. It made be feel that or I had to leave or I should keep ordering things to be sit there. There were plenty of tables available. And I should be able to order when I feel that I want to order. Even if everyone around are on suits. If I work from home and I want to sit in a nice environment I should be welcome. Most when I come often to the restaurant.
I feel as if the dress code needs to be enforced as there were a lot of people in sportswear and very casual clothing which brought down the standard of the Ivy usually upholds
We were sat at a table next to the waiting station on the ground floor. During our meal a glass was smashed next to our table and then later a tray was dropped. I understand that accidents happen but I think it might be worth considering moving the waiting station. We did appreciate that following the smashed glass our drinks were taken away and replaced with fresh drinks without our having to ask. The food was lovely and the service was generally quite good but the staff don’t seem to be very happy!
Love this particular Ivy. The location is great, the staff very helpful. The only problem is if I say it is wonderful everyone will want to go and that means it will be too busy for me to get a table!
Very lively and buzzy. A good addition to the Canary Wharf offer.
