The Ivy in the Park
Positioned within one of Canary Wharf’s most sustainable buildings, The Ivy in the Park will overlook a vibrant green space where many events are held throughout the year.
With an array of businesses and shops located nearby, the brasserie will make for the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Open seven days a week, the restaurant will serve an all-encompassing menu, complete with modern British classics and international inspired dishes served for breakfast, elevenses, coffees, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks, cocktails and dinner, ensuring there is something to suit all occasion.
Service not up to scratch/slipping. Need to be more careful with drinks order and charges added to bill. Also shouldn't need to keep asking staff to turn heaters on.
Sides should come with the main meal not later, starters should have come out sooner and please stop serving a deep fried egg on chicken milanese (!). What happened to the lemon wedge and salad that used to come with it? Ivy brand name at stake here if things don't improve.
I went here with 2 friends on Sunday late afternoon prior to going to the O2. It was our first visit to this Ivy, but have been to a couple of the others. It looked quiet from the outside, but inside it was busy and buzzing. Loved the décor. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The service was good. And I would definitely return again!
Tasty food at reasonable prices. Initial waitress was excellent, service dropped off a bit after she was sent to serve upstairs. Would definitely recommend
The restaurant is very nice and great ambiance ; but some staff are not fully trained on how to advise the customers or just give them an informed choice . I have been many times at this place , but when I came this time for parents anniversary-I got quite disappointed, I this Ivy was quite understaffed and the waiter could not really manage the tables so we had to call him always . One of the dishes had such horrible presentation that even the salad from Lidl looked better than the cress salad that was on the plate , we had to return that back.
Overall, can’t complain much because I really like the place and food . The person in the end surprised us with 2 small cakes with candles Which made the evening better - so thanks for that Ivy :)
Good food and service but for the price should be excellent.
Really enjoyable evening, in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Service was very good, not too rushed. Food beautifully presented and very good portions.
The Ivy is one of my favorite places. Great ambience, friendly staff, delicious food and drinks. It is also good if you have a baby - mine seems to like the soft music and there is so much to look at, mum gets a little break :)
Very cold reception- was told to make sure I let restaurant know that we have stroller with us on booking- well you can’t do that as there isn’t any option during booking to leave comments. Not a greeting I would expect anyway. Food ( starters ) were all ok no complaints here but they just forgot about us. Never got asked for mains an we were waiting good 30min for service. I ordered g&t without cucumber and got cucumber twice... we also had to wait another 15min to pay bill.
Shame as otherwise place looks lovely
Food and service excellent as always
Superb evening. Couldn't fault it.
My only request (and I apologise for being pedant about cleaniness) please wash the handrail up the stairs.... It was sticky.
The ivy is a special treat for us.
We have been a few times before. The seats are uncomfortable and low and these are comments from all at my table. The waiter wasn’t very friendly and didn’t talk much and kept to minimum conversation, service was slow.
Food and service during the meal were good. Unfortunately, we were almost unceremoniously ushered out at the end of the meal, most likely due to overbookings. We were there only an hour and had made the reservation weeks in advance. This ruined the experience and despite the close proximity to our offices, we will stick with The King’s Road in future.
Nice and pleasant place and staff, very warming, will be making a visit in the very near future
Lovely food and convenient location to meet up. Been here before. Quality of food was good. One dish had to be sent back as the side of veg was not very warm
We had a superb birthday celebration. Brilliant service, nice food and extra attention
Wonderful and friendly service and the food was really tasty. Our party ordered various different dishes and were all delighted.
My experience was diminished by three mice running over my feet on the terrace!
Good food. Good service on arrival and the first part of the dinner but the staff got busier as the evening went on and not so attentive. This meant we were up to our 2 hour window when dessert was due to arrive. We were asked to leave the table and move to the bar area to consume it which we didn’t want to do. We were allowed to remain at the table which was appreciated.
Very impressed. Excellent service and exceptional food. Bit noisy but that was mainly due to a group on a nearby table that required volume control, but this is not the fault of the restaurant. We will certainly be back as we thoroughly enjoyed dining here.
Firstly- The phone number for bookings advertised online is not working. So i made the booking in person for an afternoon tea. I arrived on time and the table was not set up for afternoon tea as the reception lady did not mention this in my booking. I told her that the phone does not work and obviously she got very irritated that my table was not for afternoon tea. The food was very good as expected and the service at the table. Quite noisy and we were placed in the middle of lunch area - nobody had afternoon tea around us so we felt a bit weird. Everyone was having working lunches around us. As an experince I would not recommend it. And the ladies at reception maybe they should try to be nicer and more helpful.
Loved the service everyone was polite from the start and also kind enough to get me an extra cushion as I was pregnant will defenitly be back soon 💛 even tho it was raining the Atmosphere was warm
We ordered oak smoked salmon which was dry and uninteresting. The presentation has zero effort, almost lazy. When the head waiter asked how the food was. I told him about the smoked salmon lack of imagination. He said there's nothing he could do. I said he could have told the chef!
The food was way too salty, ruined the whole experience.
The waitress was very friendly and we felt very welcomed!
Super restaurant! So beautiful and nice atmosphere! Would highly recommend.
The staff were very friendly, the service was great, and the food was exceptional.
Excellent as ever.
Got to say that this was the first time we had been to this restaurant. Was very busy for a Wednesday night but we were shown directly to our table. Fantastic service with absolutely amazing food. Staff were exceptional and very attentive. Food not only looked good, but the taste was unbelievable. Atmosphere and setting was ideal. To end the evening I ordered the cheese board as some of these were French they even sent over a staff member who spoke French to explain to me what the cheeses were. Would definitely be going back.
Absolutely delicious afternoon tea in a lovely setting. All staff incredibly helpful and friendly.
Pleasant atmosphere ,helpful discreet staff. Excellent food and beverages
Beautiful setting, but expected more from their burger! It was good, but was expecting really good
My friend and I went for brunch, watery tea, we both ordered the large breakfast no substitute was offered on items we didn’t want on the plate.
Expensive for a below average breakfast
Requests where meet quite area upstairs. But the area was COLD no heating on, or on very low. Mentioned to start member, in end when downstairs. Everything else was fine.
Really enjoyed our meal here. Would recommend if your in Canary wharf
Lovely space, great food, great service. Try the shepherds pie delicious 😋
Italian (possibly) manager extremely helpful when slight mishap with starter order
Really loved the decor and service. Food was fine although a bit pricey for the quality..but then they'll charge more because it's "the ivy"
Hated the loud music as did my dining partner....it wasn't music for eating. It was music for clubbing
We had a window seat and could see diners on the terrace eating...and as we ate our meal, which was fine apart for the cold mash potatoe,my husband saw a mouse. It was running around the terrace tables. I have a phobia about the rodents so we didn't take up the complimentary coffee offer, re the mash, we quietly pointed out to the waiter the mouse matter. When we paid the bill, the MaitreD came and explained they were aware of the problem, that pest control was involved, but as the restaurant was close to the green, there was little that could be done. With this in mind we won't be returning.
We were seated as requested in the beautiful outside area. It was a 1 hour business breakfast. We were never served. We tried several times to attract a waiter/waitress. They never came to take our order and we eventually ran out of time. The manager then came to apologize when we were leaving. Unbelievable. Never seen such careless staff in thirty years of dining out in London! Finally I was offered a cappuccino with my bill and so I essentially paid 20 pounds for nothing except a cappuccino, my guests coffee and some water.
Great night out. Lovely place, delicious food, excellent service! Will definitely go back.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Service was impeccable! Steak amazing. For a treat great place to come.
