    Second time eating at this Ivy, it is my favourite of all of the Ivy’s ( Exeter close 2nd), as the staff are incredibly polite, friendly and professional. My shepherds pie was delicious and topped off with the rich gravy alongside the broccoli, was perfect for lunch. My daughter had her fish and chips…she never deviates from this choice at the Ivy as it has never let her down. Tunbridge Wells could do with some staff training here!!;)

    I booked this Dinner for my Wife’s birthday and I mentioned that on the booking. No extra mile at all not even a small candle or anything. Really disappointed. Won’t go back to Ivy Marlow Garden again.

    The wine was very good. We had a chicken Sunday roast at 2.30 because both the beef and lamb had sold out. The meal was a bit dry with not much gravy supplied. The roast potatoes were not home made being something like Aunt Bessies and were very poor. Would not go back for Sunday lunch.

    Great service and a lovely place to eat, however the mash potato is not good at all. Really poor texture and covered with oil, not nice. Everything else was good.

    Had the Sunday roast sadly it was poor chewy beef deep fried roast potatoes and Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire pud! The mashed swede was the only nice thing on the plate!Definitely won’t ever order that again. Big fan of the Ivy food is normally really good and great ambience but we were sat in the back conservatory which you don’t feel part of the restaurant and my feet were freezing on the stone floor.

    Accidently booked for 2 instead of six, but they were extremely helpful and managed to squeeze all of us in. Excellent service food and ambiance. Best restaurant for value in Marlow
