   Everything is done to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The service was really good. The food better than we have experienced at other Ivy’s. It’s just an easy place to go. Nothing is ‘difficult’ and we had a lovely evening. Definitely recommend.

   Came today to celebrate my stepdaughter‘s birthday. On the plus side it’s a lovely atmosphere and a great venue very easy on the eye and lovely to sit outside amongst the garden and vegetation. We had relatively attentive service although for the price and expectation it could’ve been a lot slicker. The food quality was good, although both food service And attention to detail was sadly lacking. Ask for mint sauce with my lamb when I ordered, as especially looking forward to Rose Slamp as I don’t have this at home, when it was served was told they’d run out. I suggested they go down the shop and get some which was meant with a laugh. This situation could’ve so easily been turned around into a positive win but sadly was met with indifference. Little things like asking for extra sauce with a courgette fries which didn’t show up. Before I send too much like a Karen, I’m going to stop but just to say as a destination venue it lacks the finesse and sharpness expected of this establishment.

   We had a delicious lunch for my 50th birthday. The food was outstanding. Staff were dressed very smartly and very attentive and friendly. They also brought me a rich chocolate dessert with a candle in it for my birthday and one for the lady at the next table who's birthday it was also Overall experience was amazing. Would highly recommend.

   Love eating out at the back of the restaurant in the courtyard and we were lucky it was such a fine, sunny Sunday. Surrounded by cushions and plants and chatter.

   Lovely setting but not ideal being seated by the door to outside garden at the back of the restaurant on a chilly evening. Two of our party kept their coats in. Also we were seated and a drink order taken very quickly but then it took 45 minutes for them to take our food order and all our servers were so grumpy and unfriendly. We have been to The Ivy in Windsor many many times and from our first visit there they have always been so welcoming and attentive all evening. Unfortunately this was our first visit to Marlow Ivy and we will definitely will not be returning!

   For a busy Friday evening, their service, from greeting on arrival to leaving was exceptional with professionalism and friendliness, good humour and a sense of being ‘noticed’ when needing something. Every course was delicious and well-presented and our Swedish friends also rated it highly. I’ve rated the ambience as 5* thiugh in truth it was a little noisy, but given the weekend vibe and quantity of guests that’s hardly surprising. As this is the third different Ivy I’ve visited in the last year, all have shown the same levels of consistency and great food and given a string reason for returning.

   Of all the Ivy branches I have been to this one in Marlow is by far my favourite. It’s located right in the middle of the wonderful High Street, it’s beautifully decorated and spacious and has a wonderful patio at the rear which is a lovely place to dine in the better spring and summer weather. Service is impeccable and the ambience lens itself both to intimate or romantic dining as well as special family occasions. Nothing seems too much for the staff to accommodate your wishes. My only slight quibble, and even then I understand, is that I’m convinced prices have gone up and the portions have gone down. This might be because of the government’s unfortunate increase in employers national insurance so I guess the chain has to recover the additional cost somehow that would seem to be in the prices which are certainly not cheap. Having said that although I do believe the portions have gone down (I will happily stand corrected) the excellence and the quality of the food and the overall dining experience remain top-notch.

    Really good Sunday lunch for 7 people. Service was not as high as normal, we had a forgetful waiter.
