   Delicious food with excellent service in a lovely setting. The background noise from diners' conversations made it hard to hear our friends. And the prices for drinks and some food items a little on the high side. Other than those two things an excellent dinner in a very attractively decorated room with a stunning roof.

    Would put 6 star if we could! Lovely atmosphere, phenomenal food, and brilliant table service. Very catering to allergies and gorgeous interior. Lovely place for special occasions with family, friends or loved ones. Will visit again when in the city.

    Food was good quality, burger and the bun were a bit too well done but no major issue. The other main and starters and deserts were lovely. My main feedback is our server and the handful of other staff we came into contact with were a credit to the business. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond so well done employing a great number of staff. They made our evening with you even more special. We appreciated the birthday desert from our server, that was a really nice touch.

    Fabulous evening celebrating my sisters birthday, seated as per our request on booking, prompt service and the food was lovely - even had an unexpected dessert complete with ‘happy birthday’ chocolate and candle at the end! Took my 6 year old which was a lovely treat, the childrens menu is also great. Will be visiting again! Thank you!

    During our small birthday celebrations two small babies were with the people on adjacent tables and of course made the sounds only babies can make and only mothers can love. This did detract from the ambience and my concern is that this will become a baby friendly restaurant with all that that entails from noise to breast feeding etc.. The ground floor of an adjacent restaurant has already been taken over by young mums and their offspring and its reputation is being tarnished. Beware.

    1st time I've been and setvice was really good very attentive staff and food was amazing. It was my birthday and loved my profiterol with candle it, nice touch. Will definitely come back again.

    We had a lovely cream tea with 3 scones each with jam and cream. I had breakfast tea and my friend had two coffees. The service was excellent and it was a very relaxing 90 minutes in beautiful surroundings.

    Lovely atmosphere and well presented food with a good variety. The service was slightly overwhelming - every time we took a sip of water somebody came over to top-up our glasses. We were also asked what we wanted to eat three times within five minutes of arriving and what we wanted to drink before either of us had sat down. Good overall.

    We arrived 10 minutes earl, and were warmly greeted at reception, my daughter was wished a happy birthday and we were guided to our table. The restaurant certainly had the wow factor and we were given menus and provided with water, whilst we did the mandatory selfies. Service was not rushed, and we placed our order, including a request for Bucks Fizz, to be informed that the establishment could not serve alcohol before 10am. A pointless remark as the time was 0958. I was disappointed when our hot drinks arrived as I had to ask for my tea cup to be changed, it was honestly disgusting on the inside, however as it was an occasion I didn’t want to make a fuss and the offending item was quickly replaced. The tea was good although sadly I was only able to receive one cup from the pot, a little disappointing considering the price! Our food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by our trio, and the addition of a profiterole with a candle and birthday wish for my daughter rounded our celebration off nicely. An enjoyable experience overall and we would certainly consider a return visit in the future.

    My husband and I took our Granddaughter for Sunday lunch to the Ivy as it is her favourite restaurant. We had a lovely meal the service was professional but very friendly. The music was an added pleasure. Thank you for a lovely experience.

    We arrived at 6.45pm for our 7.00pm booking and sat for 20 minutes waiting for the food. We were at 7.50pm asked to leave as we were told the table had to be vacated as there was another booking for our table but we would have liked to have not been rushed and stayed longer, This was very disapointing as we have visited other IVY restaurants in other locations and never been asked to leave before because they wanted to get another group of diners on our table to get as money from our table in the evening as this is what it appeared to us. We did not feel too welcome and we are not sure if we want to go to any more IVY restaurants again in the future as this had ruined it for us on the evening and left us with poor memories of the Cheltenham IVY. We were also given a quiet table left of the entrance and would have liked to have been offered the Dome area and only knew the Dome area existed when I walked through it to use the toilet. Again, another dissapointment. We should have gone down the road to another restaurant.
