   I love this chain. The scallops are consistently excellent. This branch is in a great building. Service is always excellent - attentive but not annoying. I always have the choc bomb pudding. I also enjoy the cocktail selection too.

   Great venue, a special experience, a treat. Staff are attentive, and we felt special. There is however a big negative, there are far too many tables making it cramped, difficult to move around. Tables so close together conversation became difficult. I would not have a date at this venue. Plenty of other options in Cheltenham.

    As always, The Ivy lived up to expectations.We had a lovely lunch to celebrate my birthday,and I was delighted with the mini cake and candle.The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great.

    I love going to The Ivy but have only been for lunch and dinner before. It was my Mothers Birthday so I treated her to Afternoon Tea. It was a wonderful atmosphere, lovely setting but they sat us right in between two other booked tables when there was much more space available. We were so tightly sat next to two other couples we could hear every word on both tables and vice versa so didn't enjoy that very much, made us feel quite uncomfortable and not able to truly relax and chat away. The cream tea stand was very impressive and very tasty, sandwiches were delicious and everything looked great other than the scones. Considering we were there for a cream tea these were really dissapointing, so much so that we left them. They were cold and very flat, they had no height to them at all and when you cut into them they were so dry they crumbled apart and you couldn't spread the jam or cream (depending on which way you do it!) on them without them breaking apart further. Was good to take a bag home with left over cake in as couldn't eat in all but again we left the scones. However a lovely lunch and they brought a dessert and candle out for my mum which was very sweet.

    Came for a special occasion, ordered steak wine and a cocktail for my partner. Cocktails ingredients were sour/off and the price was £14 - we only found out when the bill came.! Steak was ordered medium rare and on the bone, arrived way earlier than expected and seemed to have been frozen prior to service. Olives ordered for the pair of us arrived as literally 4 olives for under £5. Very little value for money though the ambience was pleasant, didn’t feel obliged to pay the service charge as the host wanted to talk to other tables and we felt like they wanted to turn the table over pretty quickly.

    Despite an emergency at the Ivy which meant that their kitchen couldn't open on time and all their bookings had to be re-jigged on the day, everything worked smoothly, and the food and service were as expected - exemplary.

    Enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience for a lovely Sunday afternoon, as a large party. Service was excellent and food and menu was really good, however my daughter asked for advice on a menu choice which caused issues as far to spicy so another family member had to swap.

    Couldn’t wait to eat here. Managed to get a table in the main seating area which had the best ambience for sure. Amazing food and great choice of drinks. Will defiantly be back.
