Clean environment. Good food .highly recommend.
Excellent menu and fantastic service. Can't recommend enough. The apple tart is absolutely superb and a bit of a show stopper.
I went with a friend for lunch. The service fro. First entering was attentive, polite and friendly. The menu has an excellent Choice for all tastes. The food looks appetising and tastes wonderful.
I would recommend everyone to try this restaurant.
Excellent service and great atmosphere, live music was a bonus. Could do with more vegetarian options for main dishes.
We ate from the set menu - all three courses were delicious. Service was efficient and subtle. Very pleasant ambiance. This was our second visit and we look forward to next time. The only minus is 54 steps to the toilets - 108 per visit!!
Very good food, well cooked and presented. Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere.
A consistently good place to dine at.
Stunning design and a perfect standard of food presentation for the prices. I will return for sure.
I would say that the food was really tasty but overpriced. If a friend asked for a recommendation, there are other places that I would recommend over the ivy!
Lovely place, lovely staff and lovely food but a bit pricey so for special occasions only. Over £10 for a G/T is a bit too steep for me.
We got seated in a corner. It was very uncomfortable given the place was half empty!. Asked for alternative that wasn't taken into consideration. Was rushed through our courses. Felt hassled by constant do you need something else?I am trying to savour the food. The scallops were chewy and lukewarm.not nice. The service charge added to the bill without asking is outrageous & ridiculous given the service was below par.
My husband loves the creme brulee tho.
We won't be returning.
Wonderful surroundings and the staff are well trained. Service was a little slow but quality of food and service was good and the ambience excellent - live music was a lovely addition.
From the moment you enter the restaurant you feel valued.
The table service was attentive and highly efficient which was accompanied by delicious food.
Yes it may be pricey but the experience clearly defines the difference between the Ivy and your average restaurant.
Looking forward to our next visit
Wonderful breakfast with our daughter who started at UEA that weekend.
Food was stunning but the service was absolutely terrible. We received our sides 15 mins later than mains, wine was not poured and we felt generally ignored. They gave our bread to someone else and then never apologised. Overall the food was amazing but such a shame the service does not match the quality of food or the price.
Found it wasn't comparable to fine dining independent restaurants. Felt like an expensive chain and was presumptuous by automatically adding a tip.
I booked a table online but I didn't get nice table because I loved to seat on fist floor which it has better atmosphere and close to bar,, also I do recommend playing classics music would be most lovely feeling in restaurant instead of noise people,, by the way food was fantastic, I love it,, thank you xxx
We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere we will certainly return
Beautiful building, wonderful food and lovely staff.
eat erly as service slows when busy later.
Not the best food in Norwich but a great experience
Food excellent. Drinks rather expensive. Staff attentive without being over the top
We had afternoon tea. Sandwiches were a little sparse but the desserts were lovely. Scones mediocre and when asked if everthing had been good when we mentioned one drink was horrible (beet it - overpowering ginger) we were met with no response. Don’t bother asking if you don’t really want to know I think. Overall good and I would go back.
Lovely restaurant ,have chosen you Fish cakes on previous visits and enjoyed them
On my recent visit I found them disappointing, they were very wet and mushy very little flavour or texture
We had a lovely meal, with great friendly service. We were short of time and staff were really helpful making sure we had our bill promptly.
Very good staff, very attentive and good food
Absolutely first class from start to finish. Staff really attentive and helpful, particularly with my husband’s allergy. Nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend it.
Great service, food was really good. Beautiful surroundings
The ivy at its best great quality food and lovely atmosphere , especially with life musicians
First time and not the last time! Great end to end service.
Third visit to Ivy and its same lunchtime menu.
Staff always friendly and great service
We had a lovely evening a few lovely cocktails at the bar , food was well presented and very good value for money . Staff very polite and professional..
Nice surroundings, great food and service. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food - every course was enjoyed by us all!
Beautiful place and very professional and attentive staff
Would highly recommend and return!
Great place for a treat. Super decor, great service and ambience and delicious food. The live music was good too. My only disappointment was the frozen berry dessert! It was just a bit too frozen!!
Food was amazing. Staff very attentive but did not rush us at all, felt very relaxed and not like we were on a conveyor belt. Loved the candyfloss cocktails!
Good quality food but poor service. Ambiance wasn't particularly welcoming or relaxing. Way overpriced for the overall experience. Wouldn't return.
First time visit to the Ivy and I was not disappointed, it met all expectations and some great food great wine friendly attentive staff and set in ambience of Art Deco restaurant really enjoyed the evening and hope to be back soon
Fabulous interior makes for a very special environment to eat in. Staff were attentive and polite. I had a delicious Vodka Martini to start the evening with. The meal itself was good although the lemon sole was underwhelming. The dessert menu did not inspire a choice but a generous Tia Maria and espresso made up for it. Norwich has many better restaurants. Definitely felt I was paying more for the environment than the food itself.
Fantastic thank you so much for making our 23 weeding anniversary one not to forget .
We had a very enjoyable Birthday Brunch meal for my Daughter’s Birthday on Saturday. Good food, and my daughters favourite dessert of Melting Chocolate Bomb, also the thoughtful little birthday treat. We were served by a lovely waitress, who was always on hand. We wish her good wishes when she has her baby. A lovely relaxing meal in lovely surroundings, we will definitely be back. Many thanks to you all.
Second time in a week. Great food, service and wine. Rachel excellent as always. New Marcus musician friendly and helpful. Be back soon as with the Ivy in West St London and Marketplace Covent Garden ......... Highly recommended. Overall just relaxing effortless pleasure......
