The service was great, very attentive. Was nervous about going out during a pandemic but the restaurant has implemented social distancing measures which put us at ease. Food was lovely and not too expensive, we thoroughly enJoyed our first visit, so much so that we have booked to go back again in September.
The waiters were amazing, so friendly and looked after us so well. Can’t remember the waiters name but he was from Liverpool and he was such a joy. I am a regular visitor and due to the waiter this was the best experience. Thank you
The food was lovely and the staff were really friendly! Fast and attentive service
Amazing food, atmosphere and service
Would recommend to sit on the roof terrace. Good adaptation for covid
Absolutely superb throughout. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Food and service was wonderful. We were asked to vacate our table after 2 hours but this hadn't been mentioned prior which was disappointing.
But overall a great place
Definitely met my expectation. The food was mint. The ambiance is lovely. The staff are great.
Great food and fantastic atmosphere! Friendly staff and beautiful setting
An excellent meal in fabulous surroundings. Service and the staff was superb.
Excellent service and made a special occasion even more special
The whole experience was excellent. Service and standards were perfect. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
Fabulous, we really enjoyed our dining experience !
Food was excellent When we first arrived nor many people in so felt safe however I did feel towards the end of the meal that there were perhaps a few too many people in there None of the staff wore face masks or visors
Great service, lovely waiter who made the meal even better with recommendations. Decorated amazing. The food was brilliant!
It was nice and quiet, we felt relaxed rather than stressed as we would have been if it was crowded and noisy.
The gentleman who served us was very polite and bubbly.
The food was served Fast. We weren’t fans of the drinks though.
There was a young female in a black suit who gave several winks at my partner during the night. I was amused but he was quite uncomfortable.
As a result from this minor issue my partner doesn’t wish to return.
I do understand why he didn’t feel comfortable, it is quite disrespectful.
However, I may return with friends in future.
We had a lovely time. The staff was very nice and helpful. There was not everything in the menu. We could not order beef steak.
I had the Wednesday menu offer which includes a desert (chocolate bomb) which was not included in the bill, costing 4 pounds extra. We didn’t complain but I just thought it would be added to the menu on offer. Anyway, we had a fantastic time and we are looking forward to book again. Many thanks
The table was laid when we arrived and we weren't given an option of disposable menus or an App. The staff were not in masks or visors. Only sign of pandemic was a small bottle of sanitiser on table and a row of empty tables, although some of the other tables were not 2m apart (we were). No questioning as to whether diners are from now than one household. This is the tension between Greater Manchester additional lockdown and "Eat Out to Help Out ".
Having said that, we did stay and eat and the food was delicious.
Enjoyed the experience, helpful staff who helped make the occasion special. Food was delicious apart from the truffle and Parmesan chips , obviously frozen chips and very greasy.
The ivy is a pretty venue and the staff are friendly. The food was extremely disappointing. There was no finesse with the presentation and was overpriced. We had some olives, when I say some, we had in total 4 olives! So that was almost £1 per olive! The starter of tempura prawns and squid was presented in a bowl stuffed with a napkin to fill it out? I would rather it be placed prettily on a plate. I had the cod, it was nicely cooked and came with tender stem broccoli that wasn’t tender at all. My daughter had steak and had asked for medium/ medium rare as it was rib eye and that fat needs to be rendered . It came blue, cold and full of fat.
It was so disappointing as this was a birthday celebration that my daughters were treating me to. There are so many fabulous restaurants in Manchester that serve beautiful food. I believe the ivy needs to up its game in order to compete
Fantastic lunch at The Ivy. Done a great job of keeping everyone safe but still making it feel like a special experience. Laura was lovely and made our visit extra special.
Great service and great food. Great atmosphere for a birthday lunch.
Lovely food in a beautiful setting, waitress was lovely and we even had a surprise anniversary cake. Lovely evening.
The staff really made the meal! Loveliest people, keen to help out however they can. 3 of us has the burger and all felt it was a little bit dry in the middle, but the duck parfait starter was lovely.
Went for a birthday and they really made a fuss! Will definitely be back to try out the ‘Asia room’ because it looks incredible in there. We were in the garden but in the top floor which was also stunning.
We had a great time we were celebrating a birthday of one of the guests.
Everything was perfect.
I do recommend the Ivy if you want to have a memorable day.
Amazing as usual can't fault it. Food is fab and service is brilliant.
Lovely experience at the Ivy Roof top garden with an amazing ambience and excellent service.
A great experience. Lovely setting and food and excellent service.
Booked for myself and my friend visiting London and she was very impressed! Food and service was exceptional, can’t fault it. Will certainly be returning
Amazing food and service as usual. Our waiter Antonio was amazing ana very attentive
Great service as ever love going always good vibes
Food was beautifully presented and delicious, and room was perfect to make it feel like a special occasion rather than just a meal out
WE had a fantastic lunch here, our first meal out since lockdown began. The food was excellent and our server Martin was fabulous, so good we couldn't believe it was only his second shift. We will definitely be back soon
Our visit to the Ivy was just the best , from entering to leaving I felt very safe , & the staff were amazing , nothing was to much trouble & the food was just wow ..!!! Hoping to be back there on sat 29th 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Fast service, felt spoilt, really impressed! Would recommend!
Great restaurant , made to feel very welcome with
Top service from Sam and Matt.
Nice place. Good food. Busy though. Little mask wearing by staff 😕
Great service, knowledge, wonderful setting, lovely food, a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Outstanding in every way! We have booked again for ivy Asia in December cannot wait.
Rude staff and overpriced watery cocktails. The staff for some reason think they’re working in buckingham palace
First time at the ivy and loved it. Booked again!
