Gorgeous setting. The decor is fabulous. Lovely range of food on the menu at varying prices. The sides are delicious too. Great cocktails.
This was my 2nd visit (my first was a gay pride weekend a few years ago and it was great) and it was even better than the first.
The staff were great and the food was amazing. A beautiful building, decor and ambience too.
It was more than worth the £14.90 parking; I will definitely visit again and would recommend the Ivy Spinning Fields to anyone.
Fabulous, first time coming to the Ivy. Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend.
We visited the ivy rooftop for the first time yesterday for my daughter’s 18th birthday lunch. The decor is amazing! The food was lovely and the service attentive. Would definitely recommend and return.
Amazing food and service was brilliant would definitely go bacj
Exceptional food, friendly service. Tables for two a little on the small side, which can be disappointing when you've booked it far in advance so if you'd prefer a bigger table specify it when booking I'd say.
Booked for my 50th for a little bit of luxury, it definitely was. Staff very attentive especially Martin. Will certainly be coming again.
Absolutely will go again. And have already recommended to lots of others!!
It was for a 16th birthday. Lovely restaurant & food was nice. Service wasn’t the best but okay.
Birthday lunch on a visit to Manchester. Lovely vibe, beautiful surroundings, tasty food and drink and friendly service!
A Sunday Bruch
Excellent service, particularly from the member of the team Summer. She advised on the Bloody Mary’s and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. A super spicy Bloody Mary.
The food was great, the Eggs Royale was done perfectly, not sure it needs the wedges, but I’m not going to moan about too much food.
All in all a fantastic brunch and the champagne was reasonably priced too.
Great food, really nice atmosphere, lively, good service overall!
Had an absolutely fantastic time. Took my Mum out for her 70th birthday and she said it was the best meal she had ever eaten!!
Everything was absolutely fabulous, we loved every minute of it
A brilliant belated birthday celebration
With lovely food, fantastic surroundings and very attentive staff.
The place itself is amazing, absolutely beautiful in all three dining area's, great Manchester welcome on arrival & from the waitresses.
I thought the food was lovely, I had the Shepherds pie, but think it was beef not lamb, so a little disappointed
Had the best evening, Antonio was our server and he was the best… recommending some lovely cocktails!
I really really loved it here. The staff were fantastic. Every single one from the concierge to the waiter were superb (loved their outfits too!) They are a credit to the management. The decor and design of the place is really cool. I had the soufflé to start and my partner the salmon. I had the fillet steak and my partner had the duck curry. He had the chocolate bomb for dessert and I had the creme brûlée.
My only complaint is that my partner is a celiac. I would like to see clearly labelled gluten free options on the menu. I didn’t like how we had to go through it with the waiter. He kept having to double check with the kitchen over everything my boyfriend wanted. It became a bit draining. A lot of choices on there such as scallops for example weren’t GF where as they usually are elsewhere. He can usually tell what he can have just by looking at a menu and a lot of it was very grey here. It kept raising his hopes and then once they’d checked it had gluten. Even dishes that normally don’t! Surely a high end chain like the Ivy can get some GF signs on its menu! Everywhere else does. Miller and Carter for example is great at this.
Don’t let this detract from our enjoyment and love of the experience here. It was superb. We will return again soon. Loved the vibe. For us it was worth the hype and a lovely treat.
Excellent food, great service. A thoroughly enjoyable meal in a unique setting.
Had an amazing meal in the Ivy. The places is fabulous, service was first class as was the drinks. If you have a special occasion or just want to treat yourself this is the place to go.
Really great night will come again
Wonderful service and delicious, inventive food, as always, and having a separate vegetarian/vegan menu is such a nice touch as this doesn't make you feel like the poor relation.
An excellent evening. Great food and great service making my friend’s birthday a very special occasion.
Beautiful setting, warm and friendly staff. Felt it was overpriced and rather pretentious.
Afternoon tea. Very good food and first class service. Not surprised that the place was busy. Will be returning soon.
I came to the Ivy Manchester for lunch yesterday with my friend.
The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs.
The food was excellent as I have come to expect from the Ivy group.
The surroundings were very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
I will definitely recommend to others and shall be dining here again in the near future.
The Ivy is beautiful, love the decor. The staff were very attentive and friendly.I would have liked a bit more choice on the lunch menu, but what I had was good.
Fabulous food and service. A real treat, Lovely roof garden
Just love this place, the food, the ambience and the EXPERIENCE never fails to deliver!
We’d wanted to go for a while and it didn’t disappoint. First class from
Walking through the doors to walking out again after a lovely lunch. Definitely go back…
Food amazing service amazing music a bit loud couldn't hear waiters explaining specials of the day or my partner but other than that amazing restaurant 👌👌👌
The food was great & the restaurant is lovely. Shame we had to ask 3 members of staff for the bill. Waiting to pay took almost as long as ordering, receiving and eating the food
Had a lovely meal in the roof top garden. We were looked after by Martin.
Nice venue and atmosphere. I didn't feel that we received a warm welcome at the roof top bar. There was no smiles or 'Welcome' from the short haired lady when we approached the desk going into the restaurant. We waited 15 minutes before anyone came to take a drinks order. The water had no ice or lemon, which we asked for. The mushroom starter was cold. The fish was nice. Disappointed in the service. Friendly male waiter with blonde hair and spanish lady who topped our wine up, but overall slightly disappointed and expected more in terms of customer service and starter was disappointing.
Great atmosphere. Food good (esp the tuna). Service a little slow but otherwise very good.
It felt special and we were made to feel special.
We had an amazing lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was amazing, and the staff excellent. The decor is fantastic and The Ivy is by far the best restaurant we've been to in Manchester.
Another superb lunch at The Ivy. The food and service are consistently high and there isn't a nicer place to eat. Served by a young lad called Rob, who was attentive smart and knowledgeable and is a credit to The Ivy.
The service was very good - staff very helpful. However, the music was far too loud for me and not appropriate to the setting. Also, I dont think it was fair to charge extra for more tea - in most places, where they serve afternoon tea, they dont charge for extra tea. For these reasons we wont be coming again.
