Beautiful food, friendly professional staff and vibrant atmosphere
Burger arrived burnt and not very tasty for the price paid. Felt the quality of food was quite poor compared to the price. Expected a lot more.
Food was amazing and the service was fantastic all the staff are so friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back again
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute. Thankyou. Our waiter Tom was very attentive, Thankyou
Beautiful setting and very good service from our server Tia and the team.
The food was good but some dishes were not very hot. As it was a special celebration I didn’t want to make a fuss and spoil the occasion, but probably should have, given the cost. Another disappointment was the coffee - again one pot was lukewarm and not particularly nice. We also had to ask for clean cups.
I had put it was a birthday celebration but this wasn’t acknowledged.
Would definitely come back loved every minute celebrating my mums birthday
The Ivy is just a lovely experience. The decor, the service, the ambience and the food is amazing.
Booked the ivy on recommendation of a friend. Its the nicest meal all round I've had out in quite a long time. Everything about it was really good the setting the food the service would highly recommend and would definitely go back
Friendly staff who go out of there way to fit your needs
Great experience at the ivy really great staff and amazing food and drinks
It was a lovely set up. Food quite pricey. Service was a bit slow. Overall I would go again.
Great establishment, pleasant people, polite staff, food exquisite. Will definitely be coming back here for my birthday in November. Once again thanks for having us at the Ivy.
Anniversary dinner. Food and service first class. Lovely room (roof garden), but spoiled a bit by volume and somewhat strange choice of music (house) for a Sunday afternoon - should have had chilled singer from The Lawn Club!). Nice touch with anniversary profiteroles, however think could have stretched to glass of fizz considering we spent the best part of £200 for two of us.
After our first visit back in July, we enjoyed it so much that we booked to come back to celebrate my birthday.
This time we booked the rooftop garden, to try a different ivy experience.
Throughly enjoyed our evening, from your lovely Italian barman who made our first drinks whilst we awaited our table.
Our waiter/ waitress were lovely and great service and our food was lovely.
We look forward to returning again soon.
Great service from the waiters and service team as you would expect. Food was nice but did leave us a little underwhelmed. Happy to pay £25 for a steak but don’t expect to leave 30% on the plate as it was full of fat that I couldn’t cut.
In fairness to them I’m not one to complain so they didn’t get chance to swap it but then you shouldn’t really have to.
Happy to spend £130 on a couple of drinks and two x two course meals but we have had better meals elsewhere for half the price.
Atmosphere is always good at the ivy and that is why we keep going back. My wife did say she felt very close to the lady on the next table, so maybe they could spread out a little on tables
Such a great experience overall, staff were so friendly and kind. Food and service was incredible. Thank you
My Mum and I had a lovely meal here food was amazing service was fantastic. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend
Amazing sweet potato dish with the coriander/mint dressing & coconut yoghurt
Not many vegan options
Too loud to hold a conversation. Service was friendly but very slow. 40 mins to get a 1st drink
A beautiful meal, well presented in a lovely atmosphere.
Foodcwell priced for the centre of Manchester.
But drink expensive especially a bottle of wine.
Not a bad service considering how busy it was. A quick table turn around .
I would just say be aware when you get your bill as we had £75 worth of drinks on it, that wasn't ours.
Fantastic dinning. Food was mazing and great flavours. Definitely recommend.
Lovely food and our waiter Martin was excellent. Great place to eat and drink.
Beautiful place, good atmosphere, and friendly staff.
Afternoon tea poor if you’re a vegetarian. Three small sandwiches, all involving cream cheese. The bread was a bit soggy on the cucumber one. The standard meat one was very good though and the scones were amazing. Also, weirdly didn’t come with any tea and was charged extra for tea at the end?
Overall, I would go back, but would not have the afternoon tea again.
Excellent food and wine, the service was great they did not rush you at all. Will definitely be going back again soon.
Spectacular location, both in terms of decoration and external view. The service is excellent and there's a good choice of vegetarian alternatives.
Love this place food delicious beautiful surroundings would highly recommend
Our waiter, Martin, was excellent and incredibly attentive. Our table was booked for 3.30 p.m. but unfortunately it did not become available until 3.55 p.m. so it was a good job we were not in a rush.
The food we had was excellent value but I think that the drinks are over-priced.
All in all a pleasant afternoon.
Perfect. Only gripe is plastic straws
Great afternoon and beautiful surroundings. Food out of this world
Food was excellent, service was efficient and unintrusive, and the ambience was terrific
I found the prices to be quite steep for what we got
Not man options for vegetarians.
Also only one option for vegan desert which I thought was very poor .
Service charge added on, shld be asked if we want to add it on.
Great decor, great food, great staff and great music & ambiance - not much else to say except I had a fabulous night celebrating my birthday. Would highly recommend!
The Venue was absolutely fantastic and had a fantastic Atmosphere from the first minute you enter the doors. The food and service was exceptional as you would expect from Ivy, but a special mention has to go to Tia our Waitress who went out of her way to look after us.
If there was one small criticism, and it was very small, was that the music was a little loud and was difficult to hear my wife across the table and our waitress when she was speaking to us.
That is just nitpicking, would definitely go back and would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Very noisy music in the roof top restaurant. Made the mistake of not asking for a quiet table. Beautiful place. Staff kept very busy. Food slow coming to our table. But good
Great from start to finish; perfect venue for pre concert early dinner.
Really nice interiors food is a bit bland understandable considering its traditional English cuisine.
Booked for 3.30 main course came 4.30. Had to ask 3 times for 2 glasses of wine, we had finished the starter with no drinks. Asked a couple of times about the dishes and the waitress didnt have a clue, she was pleasant but not knowledgeable.
Service was impeccable, Summer was very attentive and helpful.
The food was amazing as always, nice sunny day and the roof was open.
