The Ivy Soho Brasserie
Decorated with artworks inspired by Soho’s music scene, as well as William Blake (Broadwick’s most famous resident), the space is made up of a restaurant, bar, private dining room and terrace with Parisian-style seating. Open seven days a week, the modern British menu will be available from dawn till dusk for local workers, residents, shoppers and visitors to enjoy. Being located in Soho, the brasserie will have a DJ spinning music every Friday and Saturday from 7pm and on weekends during brunch until close.
The Ivy Soho Brasserie’s look and feel has been created by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and notable features include an onyx bar, bronze pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet and a mixture of burnt orange leather and velvet banquettes and bar stools.
Excellent atmosphere, good service and lovely food. Always a pleasure
Enjoyed a lovely breakfast on Sunday morning; excellent scrambled eggs, but wish they had buttered the toast as it was a bit dry. Good coffee, excellent service, beautiful art-deco surroundings. Would visit again
Handled my dietary requirements fantastically. Very happy with the service and food.
Lovely food and fabulous venue as always but the service was shockingly slow... it wasn’t particularly busy but it took ages to get our second drink. We ordered a glass of wine after our meal and it to nearly 25 mins to arrive. From requesting to receiving the bill it too 45 mins! Really disappointing as have had lovely experiences in the past
A definitive Soho brasserie reinvented. Great service and seem less evening. Whoever is ensuring the standards here are met and consistent in delivering is doing a great job. A chain is the hardest thing to deliver in the F&B world and the Ivy is a rare success. Don’t open too many and keep hold of your team! thanks for the evening.
Always a great food, and customer service is fantastic.
Pre theatre supper. Noisy Food was excellent
Which made it uncomfortable but the food was very good
Great food and a lively vibrant atmosphere, would recommend.
We called up to say we'd like to come in earlier than we had booked. That was no problem. We were looked after very well, and the food was great. The restaurant has a lovely buzzing atmosphere.
The food quality and drinks were good but not outstanding, albeit the room was packed and loud and full of atmosphere. We had a great night, only disappointment was that the sauce for my steak was ice cold so asked for a hot replacement, and waited over ten minutes- by this time my main was also cold. Expected more considering the price, probably won’t return.
Delicious food, as with all the Ivy restaurants. But our waiter was rude, forgetful and distracted. Even when we gently pointed out that we had been waiting a long time for our food and drinks, and that we felt a little neglected, nothing changed. At the end of the evening, we spoke to the manager and said we weren’t happy to pay a service charge, considering our service had been so disappointing. He removed the charge, then presented the slightly reduced bill to us as though he had done something exceptionally generous, rather than remove an optional fee. We were quite baffled by that. Still love the Ivy but sadly not this branch.
As always the food was exceptional. Unfortunately, the service was lacking somewhat on this visit. We received our starters before our drinks had arrived. We had to ask several times for our wine to be poured and also for more drinks. It seemed there was only 1 waiter on our section so this may have been why. Just a little disappointing.
Expensive (for me) restaurant but the nice food and spacious restaurant made it worth it. Has a vegetarian & vegan menu, but only 1 Vegan main.
Great value for money!
Really fantastic service. The Pie was delicious, cosy intimate atmosphere.
The food is amazing and the restaurant is beautiful!
Exceptional service and very friendly/helpful staff
Fabulous service and food as always!
stunning services with a smile. look forward to returning soon.
Lovely breakfast. Great service and the food met our expectations. We would recommend it!
It took over 20 minutes to get a drink, it was also very noisy.
We had good food but that's the only good thing about our visit unfortunately.....
We had to wait over 45 minutes for our starters, nearly an hour for our main courses with no communication on these delays or even an offer of bread inbetween...it even just took a long time to place our order.
I asked the GM a few times what's going on asked about the delays on our food (it was busy but by no means at full capacity) - it was only then he went and found out and offered us no apology or explanation. I had to get up and find him to do this a couple of times, another couple of times trying to catch his eye to politely ask without making a scene.
The food and wine was good and we drank a lot more than anticipated due to the long waiting times - overall a pretty terrible experience which was a shame as this was the only family meal we have had in over a year due to 2 of the party living overseas!
We will not be back.
Poached eggs were cold
Came for my boyfriends birthday and our waitress was lovely from start to finish. Excellent experience and will definitely come back !
I booked this for 4 of us for my mum’s 80th birthday for the pre theatre set meal and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Lovely decor and ambiance, attentive service and all the food we had was absolutely delicious and great value. I would definitely go back - lovely for a special occasion.
Good food. But. Plan on being ignored, sitting for long periods of time without service and chasing down servers and repetitively asking them for the food and drinks you ordered.
Good menu with lots of variety & reasonably priced for London, would recommend
Staff was all friendly and the space was adorable. It was tasteful but not overly formal or garish, casual enough for an everyday meal or low-key special occasion. Great cocktail selection and a good range of food for a variety of dietary restrictions. In terms of cost, it was a bit less than comparable cuisine/restaurants.
Fabulous food, surroundings and staff. It’s always a a special place to eat.
I took my step-daughter out as a treat and we both enjoyed the meal immensely. The food was amazing although slightly on the expensive side for what we had. The ambience of the restaurant was incredible.
We had a great evening. Only been to an ivy once before in Brighton so we were very much looking forward to trying the soho restaurant. It didn’t disappoint, the food was delicious, the staff super friendly even ordering us a taxi at the end of the night. Cocktails and desserts were amazing.. it was worth every penny..(wine was quite pricy) love the decor and quirky surroundings, the music was spot on. We can’t wait to come back for another special occasion.. thank you
Great place, great food.
Loving the ambiance and the music on saterday evening
We are regulars at the Ivy Brasseries and have eaten in Bath, Marlow, Richmond... Soho was the most disappointing by far and has a way to go to catch up with the others. We were celebrating a birthday. On booking l sent them an email to let them know so that this would be acknowledged, explaining whose birthday etc. Before arriving 3 of our party went ahead to double check this. All good... That was where it ended. We had to try on several occasions to make eye contact with a member of staff to have more drinks, then to have a vegetarian menu we waited 10 minutes. Clearing of our table on one occasion was unprofessional and uncomfortable. At the end of the meal there was no acknowledgment of the birthday..despite an email and three members of staff being told face to face. Just a really disappointing experience. £360+ spent, £40+ on service. Had it not been a special birthday l would definitely have asked to have that removed. Lots of smiling enthusiastic staff as you enter but not much actually happening behind it all. We won’t be coming back.
Good food and swift service
Enjoyed our meal. House wine was excellent and good value at less than £20 a bottle.
We’ve just finished a meal at Soho Brasserie. Unfortunuately due to such delays in our meal and a theatre booking at 7.30pm we were unable to give this feedback in person. We received such slow service and disappointing food that it has ruined any future experiences in the ‘ivy chain’ restaurants. We waited 35 minutes between courses which meant we had to rush through our main course. I ordered the blackened cod, which on previous occasions has been a delight to eat, however this was dry as if it had been sitting around waiting under a hot lamp. We also ordered wine after our starters to have with our main course, which for the white wine went cold. We chased up the delay in our meal to be greeted not once, but twice, with ‘it’s coming’ and no further follow up or apology. Safe to say we will not be visiting any Ivy ‘chain’ restaurants in the future and I’m disappointed a gift voucher of £100 was wasted in this establishment as it did not deserve the money, on top of our added expenditure of £41.
We love the ambience at Soho and the staff are welcoming and efficient.
We visited pre-theatre (we were at our table for 4.45pm) and the service was disappointingly slow. We had to prompt to order drinks, place our order and then to pay, though our waitress was charming.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented as always.
Excellent food and cocktails with great service. Perfect atmosphere for catching up with friends. A beautiful restaurant.
Very lovely atmosphere and ambiance however main course was not that great for the price and sometimes the service was a bit slow
