The Ivy Soho Brasserie
Decorated with artworks inspired by Soho’s music scene, as well as William Blake (Broadwick’s most famous resident), the space is made up of a restaurant, bar, private dining room and terrace with Parisian-style seating. Open seven days a week, the modern British menu will be available from dawn till dusk for local workers, residents, shoppers and visitors to enjoy. Being located in Soho, the brasserie will have a DJ spinning music every Friday and Saturday from 7pm and on weekends during brunch until close.
The Ivy Soho Brasserie’s look and feel has been created by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and notable features include an onyx bar, bronze pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet and a mixture of burnt orange leather and velvet banquettes and bar stools.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and fantastic food!
We have been a few times and never lets us down. Was a Tuesday late afternoon so pretty quiet but the staff were attentive but discreet. We love the cheese soufflé and the shepherds pie.
Great food, attentive service and an all round great experience
Great atmosphere. Food and wine were good, although a little pricey for what it was, but then again, you're in Soho. DJ playing great 80s tunes, which was good for my girlfriend and me, but maybe not for everyone. All in all a really enjoyable evening and will go again.
AMAZING - Huge thanks to Lorne and his team for there efforts.
Lovely place and great food
Great restaurant, very varied menu, able to accommodate for gluten free, vegan and dairy free. Loved the music on Saturday night!
The restaurant managers approach to customers was rude and unnecessarily dismissive. Our waiter was great, the restaurant manager took a poor attitude to customers.
Amazing sourdough bread! Deliciois cheese souffle
Steak tartare shepherds pie and moctails. Always a good chice! Great service too
I am writing regarding my Friday evening experience at The Ivy Soho Brasserie.
We had a reservation for 7:45 for four people on the 16th of October at The Ivy Soho Brasserie. The meal was to celebrate two of our birthdays and we chose to celebrate at The Ivy as it is collectively out restaurant of choice!
We were concerned that we would arrive 5 minutes late so we called your restaurant to advise, which we were ensured on the phone that it would be fine and our table would be waiting for us. The first of the four of us arrived just after 7:45 and was met by a receptionist who informed my friend that she had given the table to another party. When myself and another friend had arrived, 5 minutes later we spoke to a receptionist named Cristina who was extremely rude and at one point even laughed at us!
After 15 minutes of waiting embarrassingly at the reception desk Lorne came over and after I had explained the problem he offered us a table outside, not under the heaters and said that we could wait for a table to become available which would be at 9pm, which was an hour wait.
We waited outside in the cold for 40minutes, we had not been served, offered to order drinks or even a blanket like the other customers had received.
At 8:50pm Lorne approached and advised that a table inside is available for us. As we had been told at the reception, food would stop being served at 9:15 and guests would start to be asked to leave at 9:30.
We ordered, and just after 9:15 our food arrived. We didn’t even have a choice to order a starter course! I have never felt so rushed to eat a meal in my life, especially one for a special occasion- it was an awful experience. We are regular visitors of The Ivy Group and have never even felt this disappointed with a meal and it’s service.
Shortly after our food arrived a woman approached and dropped the bill on our table, we hadn’t even finished our main course- not even half way, or had an option to order desert!
The food was very nice and the service was lovely. The crême brulée was not crunchy enough at the top and it was a bit too big. Other than that, great!
Very nice place, music was a bit too loud.
Food was good and the service as well!
Very poor service from the staff, they were very pushy to get us to order our food and we were only given 1.5 hours at the table. Even though the restaurant did not seem that busy they seemed desperate to get rid of us.
They brought the dessert menus over at 7.20pm and said if we wanted dessert we could have it as a takeaway option.
It was a shame as the food was nice and the overall decor and vibe was good.
Turn around time on the table 1 hour only! Not told to us at the start of our meal. Mains served half way through starters. Told four times we had 15 minutes left and were only half way through our food. Had to leave before we were finished. Shocking
Our waitress was very helpful in accommodating our requests. The tiramisu was delightful ! A real treat
Fantastic dinner, staff so lovely. Thank you very much
Food was delicious, service excellent. Good lunch
Last minute booking . Food was overall very goodjust one thing the monkfish and prawn curry was bulked out with too much sweet potato.
Felt secure with COVID precautions in place. Would return.
Service and food were really good. On arrival, I asked if it was possible to have a corner table and they duly obliged with no fuss. I have been to this restaurant a lot and will continue to do so.
Love place the food is so good and the service is amazing
Waiter wasn’t that* friendly as your usual
The restaurant interior and ambience was very nice however the food was standard / poor and there were huge gaps between courses.
The courgette fries were tasteless and some of them were pure bits of fried batter with no courgette in them.
I ordered a burger which I asked for medium rare but they were not able to accommodate this, it was very over cooked and the garnishes such as lettuce and tomato came outside the burger on the side of the plate, meaning I had to assemble it myself.
The food overall wasn’t awful but I was expecting much more from the Ivy and the price.
Overall a lovely birthday brunch :) Service quite slow but food was delicious - the eggs royale was excellent in particular. Nice extra touch was they brought a mini birthday cake too at the end!
Just go and see for yourself
Excellent food lovely atmosphere great service Definitely recommend
The food was lovely, but awful service. Some of the worst I’ve ever had. We were rushed from start to finish, we got there at 8pm, so no where near the 10pm curfew. Understand the current situation, but there is no need for staff to be so rude and constantly hurrying you. They were taking plates before people are finished setting and we were being told they are closing soon by multiple staff members every five minutes even though it’s 30 minutes before closing! Not to mention the constant staring and pointing at our table to check we were done. Honestly shocking, never experienced anything like it.
Front of restaurant staff were extremely rude but the waiters were very nice. We felt rushed as the restaurant was very busy and loud. Food was delicious however.
Couple n the table next to us were a bit too rowdy !!! But hey .. Saturday night
Great place for dinner - food is delicious - sometimes gets too noisy
One of my favourite places to eat and drink with friends. :-)
Really loved the food and ambience at the Ivy. The music is a great addition but could be slightly quieter. Especially during daytime hours. Apart from that, great service and delicious food - I'll be back. :-)
Went as a group of 4. Service was so slow. Music was so loud our plates were vibrating. My fish dish was cold- fish barely cooked through.
Took 20 minutes to take our dessert orders- waiter came to us to tell us we’d overstayed 1.5 hours and that he’d cancelled our dessert orders. Handed us the cheque and demanded we pay and leave.
Absolutely love the ivy but won’t be going back to this one.
Went here for a friend's birthday - wanted to do something special for her given that we've all been missing company for months! Decor was lovely but the staff were generally pretty unfriendly - supercilious, cold and sometimes actually rude. A shame, since it meant that what should have felt like a treat ended up feeling like we were just an annoyance. I've had the same experience of service in another Ivy restaurant at Tower Bridge. Won't be going back.
Rushed out from the start staff were rude
Music was a bit too loud for 7pm. The food arrived too quickly for our liking. It arrived after 5 minutes of us ordering! The waiters were not very attentive and they were quite adamant on giving us the bill but took ages for them to bring the card machine and then mumbled that we should have left 20 minutes ago when our 1.5 hours were up.
I love the ivy! Every time I come here I feel welcomed by the waitresses and waiters. This ivy will always be my go to for when I want to go to a ‘more posh’ restaurant. Great food, great interior and for a reasonable price.
I love this restaurant and the food never lets you down.
I appreciate that these are tough times but the service has gone downhill: it’s barely friendly, disinterested and mechanical.
We felt hurried out. The bill arrived when we hadn’t even asked for it.
It’s still a favourite place to go but I won’t be hurrying back.
Lovely atmosphere, great service, amazing wine and good company. Highly recommended for a group outing!
Really lovely afternoon. The original table got 3 was too small but they swiftly moved us to another where we had a really enjoyable afternoon with efficient and friendly service.
