The Ivy Soho Brasserie
Decorated with artworks inspired by Soho’s music scene, as well as William Blake (Broadwick’s most famous resident), the space is made up of a restaurant, bar, private dining room and terrace with Parisian-style seating. Open seven days a week, the modern British menu will be available from dawn till dusk for local workers, residents, shoppers and visitors to enjoy. Being located in Soho, the brasserie will have a DJ spinning music every Friday and Saturday from 7pm and on weekends during brunch until close.
The Ivy Soho Brasserie’s look and feel has been created by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and notable features include an onyx bar, bronze pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet and a mixture of burnt orange leather and velvet banquettes and bar stools.

Was great food. Service wasn't amazing but was good enough
We ordered two burgers, one rare cooked and another one medium-rare cooked. They both came well done-burnt cooked. The buns were also burnt. Its a pity for such a restaurant with such a nice ambience to offer such food.
Music way too loud everyone having to shout.
Food not up to usual standard
Mixed review but generally very good.
We arrived early as difficult to find non booked drinks in a bar at the moment but was told our 2 hour slot started from when we sat down, not from our booked time. As one of our party was not early we decided to wait outside and went back at the booked time.
Our table was a 2 person table rather than the 3 of us squashed in, luckily we all know each other quite well, lol.
Our waitress that looked after us for most of the time could not be faulted, she was lovely, friendly and welcoming.
The DJ music however was way too loud for a restaurant and made it difficult to hear each other. The Ivy is a special occasion for some and don’t always want to have to speak loudly to hear each other.
Our waitress did get it turned down but the DJ (great choice of music though) gradually turned it back up again.
It’s a restaurant, not a bar/club - I’ve not experienced this at any other Ivys, maybe the Soho one is different. Decor was great and the food was excellent. Always enjoy the Ivy but probably won’t go back to this branch again due to the music and small table.
One of the waiters was rude and gave attitude to us and table next to us
Our service was very poor sadly. We were seated 30 minutes late, our drinks were slow and we were asked to give our table back when we noticed other tables, of the same party size, had been there longer than us. We felt isolated from the start of our experience and were very disappointed. Luckily the food was good otherwise we would have complained on the day.
Gave us a soaking wet table and made us wait 30 mins for it when we booked at 8:30
Service was slow and we had to get up and chase staff for drinks and bill
Thank you for the most amazing dinning experience service was 10/10 food was out of this world beautiful setting and to boot my partner proposed so will never forget our experience thank you so very much….
Good meal out with family
Great Variety of dishes
Expensive but is central London though there was a set menu which is value before 6.30pm
music very loud
DJ on friday eve
After experiencing a fall in the street just before arriving at the Ivy the staff could not have been more attentive with first aid. We were given a lovely table with obliging staff although our young waitress was not not up to speed with the menu but we managed and the food was very good. The noise level was quite high, but am sure everyone was so pleased to be out eating in the restaurants again. Will certainly go again
Poor service, inattentive and neglectful. 3 sandwiches for afternoon tea! The bread on 2 of them was dry. The dessert section was delicious and beautiful to look at but they forgot to bring it, until we said surely there’s more than 3 sandwiches and 2 tiny scones. They got the bill wrong twice, never topped up the champagne without being asked and never offered a refill of tea. Could not recommend.
Excellent food as always. Service was a little on the slow side and there was an extra £28 added to our bill which was quickly removed when we questioned it (no one could even tell me what the erroneous item was)!
All in all we enjoyed it and will return (but will check our bill).
So this was marred by stupid front of house behaviour trying to impose an artificial need for T&T registration. ‘Policy’? OK, my policy is that I will not dine with or support more squandering of my tax on this T&T madness. Rude, idiotic, obnoxious, unthinking, ludicrous, unacceptable, never again. Dismiss this person, please.
Was everything we expected an more will definitely be back
Hi! Unfortunately we were sited at a very small table (which was bouncing and the waiter couldn't fix it). Also drops of water were constantly dripping from the sealing from the air conditioning installation and got directly onto our clothes.
Very nice food, would definitely recommend. Maybe just a little loud, but hit was busy so it's to be expected.
Great meal experience as normal. AC was off and the venue was very hot. Otherwise great
Great atmosphere, felt very well looked after, service really helpful and friendly. Food was great, no complaints but slightly below standard I was expecting. Overall, loved it though.
The food was excellent but the service was slow - though the restaurant was packed. Nevertheless I thought it was good value.
The noise level was rather excessive for conversation. Background music did not help as people were having to talk over the music to be heard.
Had a brilliant time and the service and food were amazing as always.
Very nice atmosphere, good food! perfect for informal and formal events in the centre of London.
The waiters were uncommunicative and unresponsive!
Our experience there was not up to the standards of what I expect when it comes to the Ivy.
Lovely lunch in a great atmosphere with family for a celebration
Nice aesthetics but that's all there really was to offer. Food options weren't great and were also small portioned. Dessert however was really nice.
Waitress decided I needed a vegan meal after just requesting I not have the chicken sandwich with my afternoon tea, the manager eventually tried to correct it but the for the price and reputation of the ivy is was an annoying experience
Great atmosphere and delicious food well presented. I came here for lunch and opted for set menu. The starter, crab dill cream on watermelon, was very refreshing and mix of flavours was spot on. It was a perfect starter for a hot day.
Wow what a horrible experience, terrible steak, horrible service and just no care. Honestly just worth it for the ambiance.
We had a fantastic time here, food was exceptional as was the service. My cousin is pregnant and it was on a hot day, the staff didn’t hesitate when we asked to move to an outdoor table. Our meals were beautiful, isn’t over priced. Cocktails were lovely. The ambiance and decor is outstanding. Looking forward to coming back again soon
We loved our time and I would normally never complain about service as an ex waitress but the service was poor- the main girl who served us didn’t know what she was doing at all and although she tried it was so awkward and she was very nervous the whole time.
It was lovely atmosphere and service and the food and drinks were amazing
Food was good apart from one of the sides which we had to send back. Service was a mix, we had one great guy and another girl who wasn't great. We had someone with a gluten intolerance and there wasn't much info provided on what she could have
Excellent staff, great food, reasonable price. Very attentive and helpful throughout
The service was OK however our table was in the sun and we kept having to ask for more water as our glasses sat empty for ages which was annoying. They were also slow asking if we would like any more drinks (cocktails/wine) and no one checked on our food, although the food was very good! . The server was knowledgeable about the menu as I am gluten free and quickly told me what I could have (very limited options on the brunch menu I have to say). Nice brunch out but expect more attentive service from the Ivy.
Everything was fabulous, I took a friend for brunch for her 21st Birthday and we absolutely loved it!
Been to the ivy lots of times however this time food was a miss tbh , duck salad not good no duck and way to crispy had to send back then mains where disappointed too bland veg no seasoning fish cake don’t taste the same as other times but overall it’s noamlly very consistent etc might just be one off
Food was okay, we ordered food that we wanted but got different. The staff were struggling to understand what we were wanting, overall an okay experience but improvements could be made. Also our booking was for nine o’clock but didn't sit down until a good ten minutes after which was not very good. The restaurant didn’t have many drinks that we requested also which is not okay for a restaurant like this, if you have something on the menu that you offer your customers it should be available all the time no matter what especially when it comes down to drinks.
Wonderful terrace. Excellent service and extensive menu.
Great food in a great location. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend
