The Ivy Soho Brasserie
Decorated with artworks inspired by Soho’s music scene, as well as William Blake (Broadwick’s most famous resident), the space is made up of a restaurant, bar, private dining room and terrace with Parisian-style seating. Open seven days a week, the modern British menu will be available from dawn till dusk for local workers, residents, shoppers and visitors to enjoy. Being located in Soho, the brasserie will have a DJ spinning music every Friday and Saturday from 7pm and on weekends during brunch until close.
The Ivy Soho Brasserie’s look and feel has been created by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and notable features include an onyx bar, bronze pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet and a mixture of burnt orange leather and velvet banquettes and bar stools.

Martin was a lovely host. He made our meal 10x better! We had a bit of an issue with our meal but he was more than happy to rectify the issue for us. We will be coming back soon and hope to have him then!
As usual, the Food and Ambience at the Ivy was excellent. Unfortunately our experience was made unhappy due to the extremely poor service by our waiter Luigi (who even claimed he was the restaurant manager — a claim I find incredible as a long time Ivy customer). Luigi was a ghost waiter but when he did finally appear, he could not be more indifferent and even irritated to be bothered by even the most modest request (another napkin please...).
This was quite disappointing as we’ve been to the branch in Tonbridge Wells where we had such an amazing experience...
The prawn cocktail had to be sent back as there was no avocado or tomatoes in it ... we were told by the waiter that they had a new chef who was still learning.... not what you want to hear !
The fish & lamb dishes were overcooked ...
We were then charged for 6 gin & tonics we didn’t have !
It wasn’t busy as normal due to Covid policy so you would think the experience would be even better but it wasn’t ...
What a shame ... we went to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with the family ....
I always eat at The Ivy and it never disappoints. The staff are very good, the food and cocktails are amazing and it’s extremely good value for money. The decor is beautiful and it’s always a good vibe in there. I love trying new things but The Ivy is one restaurant I go back to time and time again
The staff were very polite and welcoming, however they did not check on me or my girlfriend during any course of our dinner.
I ordered the steak which came very overcooked, so unfortunately I had to wait and watch my girlfriend eat as my sides went cold, however they did bring out one fresh side afterwards.
Food was very good, just a shame such a high profile restaurant overcooked a steak and having to eat a celebratory dinner at a separate time to my guest.
30th Wedding Aniversary meal. Good food - nice ambience. Highly recommend
Lovely food. Sat outside sun shining. Didn’t receive our last drink order, so just asked for the bill. Otherwise a fab lunch!
Food was delicious , and the atmosphere was really good,
Nice touch with the anniversary cake
All nice in this branch. Nicely spaced. Staff a bit stretched and disappeared servicing more tables than they can handle. Suggest increase staff level to decrease small stresses such as waiting to pay bill..
Excellent fish and chips. Service excellent. Thank the gods for a terrace.
Great customer service on arrival
Good social distancing observed in the restaurant
However the booth type tables that we were on are not ideal for service as the waitress cannot walk round the table and therefore had to lean over members of our table of 6 which is not ideal
Going forward I would make these tables of 4 to avoid the stretching over the guests
Alternatively the food needs to put on the end of the table or side table for guests to pick up and pass around the table
We had a lovely table felt very Covid safe
The lady looking after us was lovely with the right level of attentiveness
Food was delicious good varied menu and great value
Amazing food - great atmosphere and lovely staff
Food was amazing as always. We requested a table outside which was lovely and our waiter was absolutely lovely
Very good service from friendly waiter and delicious food.
Lovely atmosphere. Service very good. Food very good.
Great food and service as always. Clean and very nice atmosphere
Attentive and friendly as usual. I ordered something different this time and it was fantastic! Thank you again.
The services was very bad, the waiting staff were very un welcoming. My friends food was so over cooked she couldn’t eat it.
Great food, great service, perhaps on the higher end of reasonably priced. Overall we enjoyed our visit very much!
Lovely staff and nice food. What more can you ask for.
I went with a friend on Sunday. My meal was okay - chicken milanese- but the salmon and broccoli my friend ordered was disappointing. When it came up, the waitress, to her credit, did offer to change it, but it really should only be offered as a starter, if at all. The creme brulees to follow, were okay. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Try Bancone instead, in lower St James Street. Authentic Italian food, with lovely desserts.
Brunch on Sunday. Service efficient but could have been a bit more friendly. Hosts too surly for their welcoming role
Eggs Benedict and arancini delicious
Like all Ivy collection sites the restaurant is pretty and comfortable
Overall the experience wasn’t the worst, but I think you have high expectations for somewhere like The Ivy. We waited 15 minutes to be shown to our table and then received very slow service from our waitress all night, we hardly saw her really.
I enjoyed my starter but the main- considering the price- was average at best and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a shame because the atmosphere was great, I think we were just unlucky with the slow service but it’s definitely put us off going to an Ivy restaurant again.
Service non existent staff very rude made whole experience disappointing
Food was good, service was rushed and didn’t feel like you mattered that much.
Delightful evening spent at The Ivy, Soho.
The ambience was superb for a Saturday evening - the
We arrived at the restaurant early in time for our booking. The staff that greeted us were helpful and took us to our table once ready.
We sat down where our server asked us if we would like a complimentary bottle of water to which we accepted & once they came back with the bottle they advised us we would they’d be back to take our order.
They then sat down two other tables, took their drinks and food order and did not return to us. After 25 minutes I had to leave my seat & ask a server to come over so that we could order. This also happened whilst we ate, the server saw to tables to our immediate right and left, but ignored us which greatly upset my partner as it was her birthday meal. It was very kind of the other guests to say to us they’d ask the server to attend to us as they also notice we were being ignored.
The food was not acceptable. My partner had chicken breast which was cold. And I had a shepherds pie which was like warm at best. This combined with the lack of service, the absurdly loud music (genuinely, I have tinnitus and even I thought “Christ this music is loud”) left a very poor image of this place. When we asked for our bill we saw that the complimentary bottle of water wasn’t complimentary to which other guests asked us about before paying their bill.
In summary, both my partner and I were disappointed in the meal and service and will not be returning for a little while. Sadly, we found more comfort and attention in the first McDonald’s we saw.
The only problem was noise level we asked to turn it down but was never done
Nyto was an excellent waiter and very helpful when another server forgot my drink order. He went out his way to make sure the situation was sorted and make our experience enjoyable. First visit there but definitely will be making a lot more!
If you are looking from a place to eat on a Saturday or Friday evening that has atmosphere and ambiance and also great food, this is the place. They cater for all pallets and the food really is fab.
Excellent food. Service could have been more attentive - waited half an hour for a drink! Nearly died!!! LOL
Great place to celebrate my son’s 18th. Very attentive staff
very helpful staff, great food was a fantastic evening
The waiter was extremely rude and seemingly annoyed by everything. We were asked to leave so the next table could sit down.
Good food and good buzz on a sunny Saturday evening in Soho. Service was excellent and not intrusive.
Fantastic service, food & atmosphere. Will definitely be returning again.
Lovely relaxed lunch with my daughter
Food was exceptional, service was impeccable and the genial experience was extremely pleasurable. We will defiantly be back again.
As always lunch at the Ivy was a wonderful experience - relaxed, great service, great food and great drinks - our waiter Kyriakos (Kyri) was superb, made us feel welcome, friendly and very professional and above all he was fun - made our lunh even more sepcial
