The Ivy Soho Brasserie
Decorated with artworks inspired by Soho’s music scene, as well as William Blake (Broadwick’s most famous resident), the space is made up of a restaurant, bar, private dining room and terrace with Parisian-style seating. Open seven days a week, the modern British menu will be available from dawn till dusk for local workers, residents, shoppers and visitors to enjoy. Being located in Soho, the brasserie will have a DJ spinning music every Friday and Saturday from 7pm and on weekends during brunch until close.
The Ivy Soho Brasserie’s look and feel has been created by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and notable features include an onyx bar, bronze pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet and a mixture of burnt orange leather and velvet banquettes and bar stools.

Amazing service, great food. DJ created great ambience. Really enjoyed our lunch! Thanks so much as always! 😘😘🏡
Had a wonderful time, food was amazing. Music, atmosphere, service, everything was great
Booked a table for 9.15 and thought it would be a good idea to arrive around 9.0, on arrival we were told told the table wasn’t ready so we should leave and come back later, I asked if we could get a drink at the bar and was told we couldn’t do that and should maybe go to the pub on the corner of the street which I thought was appalling service. We returned just after 9.15 and it wasn’t ready, so staff scrambled around and sorted it .
Food was no more than average.
Sorry to say we will not be returning to this ivy, we have tried tower bridge and St. Paul’s Asia and will return to those for much better service and food.
Service was really poor - second time in a row....
Ambience great with the addition of a DJ. Food usual good standard. Only complaint was table for 4 persons was a bit cramped
Pre-theatre dining - Excellent service from delightful, knowledgeable staff.
Chosen as reliably very good when you’re an infrequent visitor to the city
A good place for brunch breakfast, not too noisy where you can talk catch up with friends. Good food and good value fir money
Wonderful experience, like always!
Great ambience, service and delicious food.
Very helpful with my allergies, made me feel very welcome.
Had to wait 20min even though we had a table booked
A slightly intense start to the dining experience as we joined the merry-go-round of a cacophony of waiters asking us the same question roughly every 2 minutes - until we ordered. We asked for some time between starters & mains, which we were told was no problem, but were then immediately brought our food. Fully understand in this new world, restaurants are still finding their flow…but it was off putting. Overall good vibes, good DJ, average food.
First time back since Lockdown, and was not disappointed.
Service was exemplary by every server! We were celebrating our belated Ruby Wedding Anniversary, and the whole team went above and beyond to make our meal memorable.
the food as always lovely.
thanks to all the team.
Very noisy, food was nice but nothing amazing. London is expensive anyway and you expect to pay a bit more, but this felt like being in a chain restaurant, albeit slightly more glamorous than a Beefeater. Have been to other Ivy restaurants before but wouldn't go to this one again. Definitely not worth the money.
Had lunch today with a friend at The Ivy Soho Brasserie. We arrived, and there were a few guests in front of us, the receptionist acknowledges us straight away and apologized for the delay. Once we were sat, we had a beautiful table located in the front of the restaurant. The food was lovely and the service was on point. The waiter was extremely attentive and since my friend had an allergy, the waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu items my friend she can eat. The manager also came over a few times to check on us. The staff throughout the whole venue seemed really happy to be there and everyone was hands-on. Will definitely return!
A disappointing dining experience which I didn’t expect from The Ivy Brassiere. Our table was booked for 8.30pm and we weren’t seated until after 9pm. The staff were stressed and although apologetic, didn’t offer us a drink and we were left to hover at the restaurant door with a queue of other diners behind us. This was a special occasion as it was my daughters birthday and it was a rather unpleasant evening. The restaurant seemed short staffed and even when seated we waited a long time to order.
I regularly eat at The Ivy Covent Garden and The Ivy Glasgow which are both lovely. I will not return to The Ivy Soho and I will certainly not recommend it to my friends. Very very poor!
I love the ivy brasserie however my experience yesterday was under standards.
The food was mainly cold and our waiter was not friendly. In fact he was moody throughout the meal
It was a bit disappointing that we had to ask for a fork thrice.
Prompt service , arrived early , warm welcome, table was ready , Excellent food and great ambiance !
Unfortunately we had a bad experience. The restaurant was lovely and the food we had superb but unfortunately there was an error made with our order. The result was we only had starter before having to leave for the theatre. We did tell the waiter it was a pre theatre lunch. The manager handled it extremely well and didn’t charge us. Disappointed but these things happen. We will try again another time and appreciate the manager stepping in to make amends.
Met my sister for birthday lunch - service was so attentive and caring. We had a beautiful time. Xx
I visited your branch for breakfast with my daughter today and what a delight it was! I was welcomed by a lovely gentleman who made my morning with his smile. We ordered the full English breakfast and my daughter had the veggie breakfast. Both dishes were so beautifully presented and tasted even better. The American manager was super friendly and really knows what customer service is about. We will definitely be returning to The Ivy Soho. They have DJs on the weekend, so we will make sure to be back for that!
Service was sometimes a little slow. But overall had a great time
Having dined at the Ivy Chelsea Gardens on Multiple occasions I was disappointed to see the same level of care and service had not translated to this new venue.
First issue was debris from baking parchment in my main course, all fine mistakes happen and that was resolved albeit with a lack of new cutlery that I had to find attention to get.
Staff levels were nowhere near where they should have been for the number of covers, we had to flag someone’s attention at every stage of the dining experience and there was little to no service touch points to ensure everything was ok. The table next to us waited 25 minutes before even ordering a a drink.
The floor manager appeared to only care for those tables that had ‘VIP’ diners or re arranging chairs rather than managing the venue and ensuring all tables were receiving the service they should be.
Overall a real disappointment unfortunately. Probably would not return to this venue.
Lovely atmosphere, lovely food and fab cocktails. Staff were very friendly and accommodating
Lovely to be back.... great atmosphere, service was excellent and drinks and food as good as ever.!!
The restaurant looked inviting with colourful furnishings, comfortable chairs and plenty of space between tables. We arrived early for lunch and had a drink. The service was very friendly and relaxed. We were told we could take as long as we liked before ordering the food but waiters always seemed to be available when we wanted them. I started with very tasty scallops in a sauce and potato cubes. For the main course had a very filling Chicken Milanese with chips and broccoli as side dishes. It came with a jug of tartare sauce of which I only used a sample as I didn't think it blended well with the dish. For dessert, I had Apple Tart Fine topped with Calvados - an excellent combination. The bottle of Pouilly Fume at £55 was an average price for a West End restaurant. An excellent meal - very enjoyable.
Service was really poor, nice waiter but did not have a clue.
As nice as the food was the service was atrocious, it started out well but we were left at that point. Despite tables around us being served we waited 15 mins to get the drinks menu back. After that and finishing our main we waited another 30+ minutes at which point we gave up and asked for the bill.
A half hearted apology was received when the bill was delivered.
The dining floor seemed to lack any management.
The food was good, slightly over priced for what it was. You are paying for the experience. The food came quickly. The service however was very slow, no check backs on food a lot of waiting. Was very hard to get staff attention for another drink. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Was just really disappointed with the service, especially as a 12.5% service charge was added to the bill. Had I not have had a voucher, I would have been even more disappointed.
Lovely to be back in Soho enjoying brunch. Lovely staff - only complaint was that it took a while to get our bill and pay!
Lovely experience & such a friendly waiter! Would definitely recommend eating outside on a rainy day
Excellent. As ever the staff make it a lovely experience. Thank you
Lovely brunch on the terrace. Food good as always. Nice staff attention for the fact it was our anniversary
When we arrived it wasn't very busy. We had to ask the team three times for them to take our order. The food arrived before our drinks, (a coffee and a bottled beer) and the food arrived cold. Not a great place for brunch

So good we went back the day after 😀
Great food and service . Lovely friendly atmosphere
What a lovely setting, amazing food with great prices! Will be returning very soon 👌🏼
We enjoyed every moment of our evening at the Ivy. All the staff were friendly and helpful, our food and drinks divine. The restaurant is really beautifully decorated and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Thankyou
Receptionist was not very helpful, we had booked a table for 18:00 and got there 1 minute past the grace period at 18:06. I had called ahead to say that we might be five minutes late, potentially getting there at 18:10 which as I said previously we got there before. The receptionist said it was fine and she would keep our table. We got there and we were told to wait saying a table would be available very shortly. By 18:25 nothing had happened so eventually a gentleman came up and gave us a table inside. He was very kind and apologised for the delay. After that we had a great time, the food was lovely and the waiters were really nice and attentive! Overall would highly recommend
Excellent service, superb location and amazingly mouth watering cuisine. Would definitely recommend a visit to this first class establishment.
