A really lovely setting but the service was very slow. They forgot one of our sides and our water.

Order the yellow sole and and it was full of bones couldn’t eat a single bit of it. Then swapped for a black cod and it was Raw. Felt as if the staff didn’t want to help so overall a bad experience

Had a lovely dinner at the Ivy Brasserie in Soho. The food was really outstanding and although I think the prices have gone up - it was still really nice. The restaurant was beautiful decorated for Christmas so got you into the real festive spirit. Staff although very busy were all very kind and helpful.

My friend and I had the best time! (We always do with the Ivy Collection). What impressed us a lot was our lovely waitress who was such a credit to you, I would say her name but I had a bottle of champagne and I can’t remember!

Well done team

My wife and I enjoyed our meal at The Ivy Soho very much. Service was good and the food was excellent. We always enjoy the general atmosphere and buzz of Soho and The Ivy certainly didn't disappoint. Very relaxed. Jeff Budd

We were stuck in a corner of the restaurant near the back near the till
Starters were ok but main courses - blackened cod, chewy and dry, Milanese chicken burnt around the edges and so hard I thought I was going to break a tooth. Then ordered the salted sourdough which was underwhelming

Service was incredibly slow and the wrong food was given to my guest.

Had to ask four members of staff for the bill, the restaurant was incredibly loud, the music volume was too high and could barely hear the friend sitting directly to my right.

Excellent food and service - however volume of the music was somewhat loud. Just needed turning down couple of notches so that dinner conversation could be heard easily.

Food was great from the breakfast menu, though service was slow. When you book a table for a certain time, there is an expectation to be served shortly afterwards and to receive drinks and food soon after ordering

The Ivy is lovely for breakfast, a great choice for entertaining my client.
Sadly though what lets the venue down is the very slow service (something I've experienced before on multiple occasions in different locations).
The staff are friendly and polite however very slow and not very attentive.
For example, we were seated at 09:00 am, it took at least 10 minutes to be asked for our drinks order and then a further 15 minutes to receive our coffees.
Disappointing for the standards of the restaurant.

When you walk into the restaurant, the ambience is great. Great overall vibe and a good looking spot for a date. The food is just generally pretty underwhelming. I’ve eaten at an Ivy before and the food was equally ‘meh’ then, so it wasn’t a surprise. The only surprise was how poor the service was. Before we had gotten half way through our starters, we had a waiter coming over to take our plates away (without asking if we were done!). The same happened with our mains. I feel that due to the popularity, they try to push people through as fast as possible. Good venue if you want to take some instagram pictures, but there are better restaurants to eat at.

My friends lunch ( who we were taking for her birthday) was cold. She ended up not having any lunch as it took so long we cancelled it. Our chips didn’t arrive until we had finished our meal.
2nd time I’ve had a bad experience in The Ivy !!
Our waitress was brilliant.

We really like this chain - always good food and atmosphere. Only negatives would be it is not quite the standards pre pandemic and the Albariño was disappointing.

Sadly, I was disappointed with a The Ivy Soho Brasserie. I had to ask for a drink to be served, whilst I waited for my son, and then we had to wait again to catch a waiter’s eye to ask for a drink for my son. I know COVID has had an impact but our table was 17:30 and the restaurant was not full. My salmon was fine but the French beans were undercooked and the spinach had not been properly drained, so sat in a pool of water. We decided not to order desserts because of the possible waiting time, so settled for coffees. I have always had great service in The City Ivy or The Ivy: just disappointed with Soho. Sorry.

My wife and I late had a late lunch at 3.15pm yesterday arrived 15mins early and was seated immediately no problem, service was quick and efficient, friendly lovely waitress. Food was very good as well as the champagne. Ambience and atmosphere was really good, not too noisy (maybe we missed the lunch period). Tables are close together and i would see how if it is packed may become too noisy and might be too close to other diners. Overall, the experience was fantastic and we would definitely recommend The Ivy and will return.

Food delicious, venue beautfiul. I only gave 3 stars for service: the waiting staff are all delightful young people who are very friendly and welcoming but they don't seem to have been given sufficient training. Our cocktails arrived after we had finished our starters (with apologies for problems with 'the system'), we had to remind a couple of times about water, and the bill.

Was there for my sisters birthday. Was made to feel quite unwelcome. Server was not helpful or kind at all - whole time we where there felt like wanted to be kicked out. then was called multiple times re. a lost scarf - when I called back to find out what the scarf was as was not sure if was mine the person on reception huffed and hung up on me.

Quality of the food was excellent but it was very disappointing that dining experience was marred by poor service. We arrived at 6.45 and were warned by diners at a neighbouring table to expect slow service. It took a long time to get a drinks order submitted. Waiting staff are young, poorly trained and scarce. It proved impossible to get their attention to order dessert and coffee so at 9.30 we gave up, settled the bill and left, declining the offer of a free dessert and a refund of the service charge. Shall opt for the Ivy Victoria in future where the service is excellent.

Overall very poor.
1.waitress tried to pour wine into my used Beer glass.Didnt appear to know what she was doing or how to serve.
2.Main meal took approximately an hour to be served & was at best served warm!
3.Manager was Appologetic & blamed Brexit for shortage of experienced staff Etc.
Perhaps the Ivy Leaf should put a note on their website warning customers of the implications of Brexit to their business.

A return to a restaurant we have eaten in a few times before the pandemic. Usually friendly and professional. Sadly on this occasion the food was tepid and average at best. Where it really let itself down was on service, of which there was a remarkable lack. Our table was right next to a service area so could easily be overlooked and monitored by the team. Starters arrived before the drink order. There was no hint of welcome, friendliness or interest in providing an acceptable level of service. Unfriendly and distant was our definition. This included a senior member of staff telling a colleague that he would never be promoted to wear a jacket unless he sorted himself out. Not a conversation to have in a public area in the hearing of customers. A favourite restaurant id now firmly off the list of places to visit. Such a shame.

Overall a very nice lunch but initially we waited nearly half an hour for our drinks, after chasing the order via three different waiters, they finally came. The Portuguese male waiter was excellent! He truly made up for the initial bad service

Service started off fine, food was okay, not exceptional but fine. We had a 9:15 reservation which they sat us pretty quickly for considering how busy it was. We were checked on once during the meal to see if we wanted more drinks. We finished our main meals at 10:45 and the next time we saw a server was 11:15 when they said 'can you pay your bill please?' If the restaurant wanted to close then 10:45 would've been a great time to ask ' can we get you anything else, desert maybe?' Needless to say we had 2/3 of a meal and were then basically told please pay and think about leaving. So not great on the service front. If you are strict with a 2 hour seating period even with the last group to eat then serve sufficiently so we can make it through a whole meal.

Another great night at the Ivy, Soho... All the staff from the reception onwards were friendly, polite and attentive.
DJ was playing brilliant tunes although just a tiny bit loud if you sat right near the stage.
Will definitely be returning on our next trip to London.
