   Went alone for normal dinner, the staff couldn’t quite understand why I was alone and kept asking if I was waiting for someone. Otherwise food was fantastic as always but did have to wait a long time for my drinks.

   Waited 1.5 hours and still no food. Had to leave to catch a train as no food arrived and told it was only just being dealt with Person in charge didn’t know how to handle situation. Absolutely shocking. Ruined the end of my son’s graduation day. Thoroughly disappointed.

   Pretentious but very ordinary. The main courses were just acceptable and the desserts good. It took far too long to get the bill. The resaurant looks very pretty with mainy staff floating around doing something (difficult to tell what) but lacks the essentials of high qaulity food and good service. I won't be visiting again.

   Overall the Ivy in Soho was not as good as the one in Covent Garden which we visited in June. We enjoyed the duck starter but the chicken Milanese which we both had was a bit tough. The sour dough bread was not as crusty as the one we had in Covent Garden. Also there were a couple of items altered from the menu. Where we sat was right under the aircon vent so it was very cold.

   Great evening catching up with family and friends. Been to many of the Ivys and this definitely is one of the livelier funkier ones - fits the Soho vibe. The food was very good, though portions were slightly smaller than we had at others. Service as ever was attentive, polite, and courteous.

    If you take a booking for 1045 you would expect service We were run out the door One drink and bar closed Rushed "I presume you don't want deserts" My first bad experience at The Ivy Wouldnt return I'm afraid

    When we arrived, our table was ready. The restaurant was very busy, given the weekend that was in it. Service was very prompt and professional. The food was amazing, and very good value. The restaurant had a fab vibe, although a little noisy. Overall, top class and I will certainly be back. I highly recommend this establishment

    The Ivy soho is always a very nice place to have lunch at, but I specially loved it in 2019 when it was pride weekend and they have a great drag show, reason why I booked again this year, being the 50 year anniversary of London Pride, to my disappointment there was nothing allusive to Pride :-( , no show, no decoration, no pride vibes at all. Sad

    Acoustics poor so noisy- noones fault. But why oh why the piped music, Which encourages people to speak even louder and leads to a noise escalation and people not hearing conversation? If you have to have the music can’t we have Classic FM? Or similar

    We waited a long time to have our mains arrive and had to be re seated as we were sat next to the ivy bins outstide that looked dirty and not cleaned ( see photo) it was a shock as it didn’t seem up to the ivy usual standards

    The ambient was very nice, also the food, nevertheless, the service was disappointing. We had to ask several times for someone to wait for our table. We asked about recommendation for starters with protein and the waitress started laughing at us with no sense. After that, the waitress did not come back to the table again. We had to rise our hands several times to other waiters to get our food and drinks.

    Fantastic atmosphere (with DJ on Thursday evening when we were there). Lovely decor and fantastic food and cocktails. Colleagues working there were lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

    The Ivy Soho Brasserie had a fantastic interior and offered a comfortable setting. The service was of a high standard, but there is still room for improvement with efficiency and thinking ahead. I would defiantly dine here again and would also recommend to others. The food was very tasty and a nice size portion.

    The service was appalling, had to ask multiple times for one of the drinks, starter dishes were removed when main courses arrived - no break in between. Lobster linguine was mediocre. Often had an empty glass as waiter didn’t keep an eye and refill. I’m normally a big fan of the Ivy brasseries, I regularly go to Cambridge and Harrogate, but this experience was by far the worst. Two of the ladies loos were also blocked.

    Always good to visit this branch of the Ivy. The food was impeccable and the service excellent. It is evident that like most of the hospitality industry, shortages have impacted a little on the speed of service, but this did not affect the overall experience. Whilst the champagne was very good, I do wonder if it justifies the large mark up.

    Great atmosphere but tables too close together & you do feel on top of the next table a bit. Service mixed - some great people but others inattentive. Great food & drinks. All in all, a solid place for a great night out in a central location.

    Decor and ambience was of course great - we have never been disappointed by a trip to the Ivy in that sense. Food however was very average. Hollandaise sauce had no flavour and the pancakes were served cold. Not worth the price despite the beautiful setting.

    Great place, friendly staff, prices are reasonable given the standing of the place, and the food is really excellent with lots of different options. It's my second time there and it's always a good spot.
