The Ivy Soho Brasserie
Decorated with artworks inspired by Soho’s music scene, as well as William Blake (Broadwick’s most famous resident), the space is made up of a restaurant, bar, private dining room and terrace with Parisian-style seating. Open seven days a week, the modern British menu will be available from dawn till dusk for local workers, residents, shoppers and visitors to enjoy. Being located in Soho, the brasserie will have a DJ spinning music every Friday and Saturday from 7pm and on weekends during brunch until close.
The Ivy Soho Brasserie’s look and feel has been created by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and notable features include an onyx bar, bronze pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet and a mixture of burnt orange leather and velvet banquettes and bar stools.

A really lovely place to celebrate a family birthday. The table was ready as soon as we arrived, the waiting staff were both charming nd efficient, the food was good but the Shepherd's pie was slightly lacklustre. It didn't taste that home made. Everything else was delicious. We would certainly return.
Service was really good, fun and busy atmosphere for Sunday lunch and great wine recommendations
Fantastic venue, great food and service!
Poor choice of seating………
Not impressed at all.
Always good! Probably 5/6th time we’ve been - great atmosphere for family get together!
Chips cold abs burger dry
I have visited many Ivy’s but found this the worse. We wasn’t expecting a live DJ, this was exempt noisy. The service was very slow and we had to get the attention of the waiters constantly.
We will sadly not be returning to soho
Best food, service and experience in the UK
Very nice decoration and food is excellent.
Only issue is Mains came before starters had been cleaned away
The food was excellent and was prepared quickly. Although the service was ok it felt very impersonal and we had to cancel our drinks at the end since they took too long to come and we had to leave to get our train back. It was also my partners 50th, which I had told them about, but they didn't do anything special. When I have visited before for my son's birthday they came out with a little cake which was lovely. Very disappointed this time around.
Ivy B’s are always pleasant, thus was no exception
Fab lobster linguine and great place. Excellent service
The food was amazing but the service was slow.
We like to order drinks first while looking at the menu but we were not given that opportunity. By the time the waitress came we order our drinks with the starter and main.
The head waiter was amazing and he ended up serving us as our waitress was very slow. Also when asking for wine to compliment our meal, it came out by the time we had almost finished.
The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing but the service spoiled it for us and I’d highly doubt we’d return to the Soho restaurant.
Waited 30 minutes to be served for drinks. We had to chase to missing items. Food and venue were lovely but we were left thirsty as no waiter ever looked to one table.
Always good quality, fair price , nice ambiance and excellent service
Very poor service, trading on their name without the service or experience to back it up.
Outstanding service, the team was extremely accommodating with us and we had a lovely meal. Thank you
The service was very slow - 25 mins wait although the food was good when it eventually arrived. Poor performance given that the restaurant was not busy but the staff seemed to be more interested in talking to each other than getting on with the job.
We arrived and were shown to our table . The waiter was lovely and got us a high chair then even asked if my grandson would like room temp water so it wasn’t too cold, after we ordered a bottle of water.
We ordered salmon and cream cheese on a crumpet and buttermilk pancakes with yogurt and berries. Both came out and were ok but the crumpet had a lot of hen leaves on it and this really overpowered the taste . My pancakes were ok . We got a latte and a pot of coffee and cream . The latte was luke warm and was really small with a third of the glass being froth . My pot of coffee was v v strong and wasn’t hot . Cream was also cold so as soon as poured and put cream in it was cold .
We ordered toast for my grandson and it only came out when we were nearly finished our food . It was stone cold and rock hard . My grandson tried to eat it but really struggled and the butter was also taken when the waiter whipped our plates away pretty much on our last mouth full .
Not many tables were taken yet as soon as we finished our food the waiter came and gave me the bill then said are you paying by card . Then put card machine in front of me . It felt like he was rushing us out.
Really disappointed as I had very much looked forward to going to the Ivy but it wasn’t as expected and cost £40 . Such a shame as have been to the ivy in York and it was lovely .
Was good for food but the service really let it down. After the main it’s likely forgot about us and it took us a number of attempts to get their attention
Lovely Restaurant, lovely food, lovely staff. An overall lovely experience and I intend to visit again soon.
Overall a very nice place, but short on staff so the service was a bit off. Also, they were not flexible relative to a simple drinks request (a vodka martini with lemon versus a lemon drop cocktail) although in fairness, they may not have understood the request.
Awful service from the moment we walked in from getting the drinks order wrong, bringing our starters and main course at the same time. No wine menu provided or even offered. We had eaten and left within the hour. Won’t be back
The food was good, but the service was shocking. It took an hour for our order to be placed, we had to remind staff to top up drinks. Staff seemed uninterested. I understand the difficulties the industry is in, but this was a different level. Half the table was cleared and the rest was left for another half an hour, had to get up and walk over to the waitress standing in the corner on more than one occasion to ask for service.
Excellent food and wine and ambience. Loved it and will come again.
The food took so long to arrive that I couldn't even finish it and had to run for my train. The service was appalling, as we sat down and were given menus it was over 20 minutes before some even came to take our drink order, and even then it was taken in such a poor way. I wouldn't bother coming back, for the Ivy chain this one has really gone down the drain recently.
Lovely evening, especially the free profiterole for the birthday boy (me!). But disappointing lack of choice for the vegan and vegetarian in our party, compared with many other restaurants in the area. When sweet potatoes were ordered with dressing on the side, it came all in so had to go back to the kitchen. Then the chunky chips arrived late and overcooked. When the bill arrived, our £150 gift card had not been deducted, had to ask, it had to go to the manager for approval and he took a quarter of an hour to come back. So a few glitches that took the edge off an otherwise splendid occasion. The bill for 3 was £227 including £87 for a bottle of Veuve Cliquot. Not great value for the food.
Beautifully decorated and reasonably priced with lots of choices. Good cocktail menu and we’ll priced.
My Overall feeling was that staff couldn’t be bothered. Very little engagement other than take orders. Food was average and overpriced. Did pay the service charge but grudges it. Wouldn’t recommend or return. Denise
I too my friend for a birthday lunch - service was terrible - we waited 2 hours for our main course - mine arrived cold ?! I think this is ok for corporate launchers not special occasions - they don’t care about your experience if your just 2 diners
We chose the restaurant for wheelchair accessibly. When we phoned to confirm, the restaurant neglected to inform us of construction outside the door that limited access. We were seated in a corner, which should have been quieter, but the entire restaurant was extremely loud and we were having a business meeting that then required yelling. We were also not waited on promptly and the food was delicious, but served warm, not hot. We had to get up and find the waiter to pay, as we needed to go on to another meeting. It was not a suitable environment for what we needed.
Waiter was so rude, terrible service - Wrong order, when i tried to explain this he completely dismissed me. The table beside us said the same thing.
Excellent lunch at Ivy Soho, really good atmosphere, service was really good, food delicious will be back!
Service was awful. They should sue the charm school.
It is nice cozy interior, good service , food was tasty too but the Egg benedict was cold. Good value for money. We definitely will be back to this place.
food quality was mediocre and extremely small portions. food order was wrong twice. had to wait 30 minutes for drinks to arrive. spoke to manager who confirmed that an allowance would be made for this on the bill.....there was an amount taken off, but food we hadn't ordered was added. also, the music was so loud that it wasn't easy to have a conversation,
this was my go to restaurant, but it was a massive disappointment and an embarrassment to my guests. not up to usual standards.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and amazing cocktails.
Sadly there weren’t any vegan puddings!!! Disappointing
My friend and I decided to treat ourselves and book a table for an evening meal, after seeing a show. It did not disappoint. We had a three course meal and each mouthful tasted divine. We had a cocktail each (mine a 'mocktail'), and again they tasted wonderful. The service and ambience were on point, and even the toilets were fabulous. We are already recommending The Ivy Soho Brasserie to our friends.
Wonderful ambience and decor. Servers were attentive and polite. Food was amazing and plenty of choices on the menu. Would definitely go back again
The food was fine, as usual. The service was initially terrible. We had some Prosecco delivered quickly, but the appetisers did not appear for about 45 minutes! Even then, instead of the "sharing" zuchini fritti (which, ideally, should have been there with the Prosecco) arrived with the appetisers! We had to almost beg for our ordered wine to appear by the time we had the main course. A different staff member got the message that things were not going as planned, and then everything improved to a normal standard - but, by then, it was easier as the restaurant was emptying out. The "birthday dessert" arrived, as we hoped, and that was that. I paid, and a manager or maybe the sommelier came over to see if we had a good time. I explained that we were a little disappointed, and he apologised with the expected "short staff" and "training" excuses. Our guests (one of whom was getting the birthday treat) still enjoyed themselves! Not up to the usual standard.........
