    The Private Dining Room at The Ivy Soho Brasserie seats 24 guests on one long table, or 40 on four round tables of ten, and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as for drink and canapé receptions for up to 60 guests.

    The walls of The Private Dining Room are adorned with fabric panelling and decorative antique mirrors. A bespoke art deco glass screen separates the Private Dining Room from the main restaurant, and the same design is used with stained glass panels, creating a privacy screen to the outside yet allowing natural light into the room.

    With a selection of menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Private Dining room is equally suited to private parties as it is for corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners. In addition, The Private Dining Room will feature a beautiful antique brass and pale orange onyx bar, decorated with antique brass rod detailing.

    The slowest service I’ve ever experienced. We arrived at 2:15pm, didn’t start eating until 4pm. Multiple tables around us were equally frustrated. The food was fine but not worth the wait. The staff serving us were despondent and at time plain rude. Not a vibe.

    After booking a table outdoors I didn’t expect to actually be sat in the pouring rain. Apart from that was sat in the rain for 15 mins with no water or no service. We took our money elsewhere.

    Great food and service, everything very good aside from the coffee. Ordered an espresso - served in a large cup and not a great experience. Apart from that, it was a lovely lunch.

    Really lovely afternoon in the Ivy for my boyfriend’s birthday. Food was great and atmosphere was lovely, also the staff were very nice and polite. They did forget to bring 1/2 of our sides but we didn’t mind as got to stay for the whole afternoon with no one rushing us to leave which was lovely. Thanks for a great day and can’t wait to visit again!

    The food was delicious but the service was very poor. We were welcomed by a friendly man who gave us a lovely first impression of the restaurant. However, the service for drinks was extremely slow, I had to ask them to chase up my order on two occasions. I’m not sure that they did, as they didn’t seem particularly worried. On the first occasion my son and daughter had their drinks at least 10 minutes before me, and I had ordered the same as my son. You would think when the waitress said “berry smoothie?” and we both answered yes, that she might have thought there was a problem. Then ordered 2 coffees and a pot of tea, which also too an unreasonable amount of time to arrive. The food was faultless, however I have been put off coming again. This is a real shame, as our local Ivy has been amazing any time that I’ve been. ☹️☹️☹️

    Joint family birthday celebration. Good ambience although the DJ did turn up the music so by the end it was a bit difficult to chat above the music. Good choice of dishes and fairly reasonable price wise. Would return.

    We had a wonderful evening at The Ivy Soho, our table was perfect, with a great view of the restaurant, bar and DJ. All staff that we came into contact with were extremely polite and helpful, our waitress was very attentive and spoke directly to each of the children which was lovely. The food was presented beautifully and all dietary requirements were taken into consideration. It was my husbands birthday and at the time of making the booking and they surprised him with a dessert, even though we didn't ask - so wonderful. We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend.

    Waiter finished his shift after our starters, and nobody replaced him. Ended up pooring our wine, and asking for our mains. Food was good overall

    I have been to this restaurant on a number of ocassions. The food is excellent, however, this time, I was disappointed, as the staff were either too busy, or at times came across as rude. The service was slow and we did not have time to order a dessert, although we had been in the restaurant for over 1 1/2 hours. This seemed to be the norm, as a number of other diners were also complaining of the slow service.

    We went for brunch and were seated at 12.15. We ordered drinks and starters. Food came and was lovely as were the drinks. However one of our party had not finished their starter before our plates were cleared and our mains were bought. Then literally as she put down her cutlery her plate was whipped away and her main put in front of her. It felt hurried and rude. The food was lovely although overpriced but we knew that when we went. We left at 2pm so we’re seated 1hr 45mins.

    I have eaten at the Ivy quite a lot recently as have been catching up on theatre trips and friends get togethers. I love The Ivy and the new restaurants are gorgeous and always a treat. Sadly the rose tinted glasses came off last night as my husband and I were pretty underwhelmed by the poor service and poor communication at The Soho Brasserie. We’re not sure if it’s because as a couple we were put at the back and forgotten about., or what the issue was. The restaurant was very quiet as we were pre-theatre, so no excuse really. .Such a shame. Having said that the food..when it came..was as always delicious. Look after all your customers Ivy and train your staff a little more, we were not looked after in the usual manner!

    Really slow and all the meals came at different times especially one which came 10 minutes after. Service from waiters was good and food was also nice but all let down from the kitchen service, shame.

    Great place, we love the Ivy chain! Great, affordable food. Not Michelin standard obviously, but very excellent standard for the price. We went for my sons 25th birthday and they gave him a lovely bday chocolate profiterole cake with a candle - nice touch, and at no cost!

    We were 4 people and all the experience was very uncomfortable. Outside tables are not for dining! Too many table in very small space. Our table was not for 4 people, just for 2!

    A thoroughly disappointing luncheon it took an hour and 15 minutes for our starters to arrive. Fully appreciate busy lunch periods, but goodness me. The Ivy took the biscuit and the tea! It’ll be a cold, rainy day before I set foot in this chain again ! Jasmine Rice - overcooked. Cod in banana leaf - cold. Squid batter- pretty ropey. Waiter stunk of cannabis- an altogether expensive rubbish and experience.

    I was thoroughly disappointed with our afternoon tea. I had called some time ago asking if the champagne tea with sandwiches was still on the menu, and was told it was. However on ordering we were given the wrong water, then left, then received the scones and tea although we were still drinking our champagne. So the tea was taken away, I then asked about the sandwiches and was told that was no longer on the menu. So ordered a beef and a prawn sandwich, which were delicious. Once we had finished our champagne I had to ask for our earl grey tea, by another waitress. So we were served by four people in the end. I had booked this as it was my friends birthday so a celebration for this occasion and for her forthcoming wedding. It was good we both had a sense of humour as it was not the afternoon I had hoped it would be. I will not be visiting again.

    Service was ok, 70% of the heaters outside do not work, including the one that was above us and the restaurant dis not have enough blankets for us 4. We had to wait quite a bit for the bill and ask for it again after 5min without receiving it, the person had forgotten. I had been there in the past and was very happy with everything but disappointed last night.

    It was my first visit at Ivy Soho for my birthday celebration and i had great time. The place is spacious, music just right to have a conversation, the decor very nice full of colours if you like that, cocktails really tasty and the food was amazing full of flavours, presentation outstanding the best i’ve seen, prices are reasonable for great food you get. I am definitely coming back for another dinner. I highly recommend Ivy at Soho
