It was very busy. A bit of slow service, took a while for our order to be taken. Chicken was slightly overcooked. First time, probably not had a perfect meal at an Ivy. Won't put us off going, but probably not go back to the Soho restaurant

I somehow ended up with a different chicken dish to the one I ordered. I suspect it was a mistake between the server & myself, it was so noisy….but it is on the lead up to Christmas & I’m not a grinch! We were in the draft of the door which I suspect would be a pain on any day but they were as busy as always so we just manned up.

I always love the Ivy brasseurs but thought the front of house service last night was particularly excellent. We booked at short notice having been let down by the original venue we were meant to be eating in. The lady at the front desk was dealing with a very busy restaurant but looked after us so well until she could find space. We ate at the bar and had fabulous service. Of course, the food was delicious too. Thank you so much for a lovely night.

Lovely restaurant, very good atmosphere, clean facilities and very good food. The only negative was the staff inside the restaurant unwelcoming and did not smile at us, plenty of smiles and laughter with their colleagues. The reception staff the opposite nice greeting.

Food was delicious however service not great. Took a while for our bottle of white wine to arrive which we had to chase up as we had nearly finished our meal, but had no wine to go with it. When it did arrive it was room temperature as it had been sitting out for a while. We asked for another one but that was also room temperature, so we had to ask for an ice bucket - not suggested by the waitress initially. Also the guy that showed us to our table wasn’t welcoming, couldn’t even fake a smile, face was like he didn’t want to be there at all. However the food was really good.

Service was a big let down and has put me off making a future booking at one of the restaurants. Waited 40 minutes from our starters being cleared away to our mains finally arriving. The restaurant was not busy and plenty of staff were working. When the mains finally came we were given no reason for why they took so long, no apology and I had to ask twice how long they would be. The server for our area was very unattentive, it was very difficult to ask for our bill and then to pay. Overall very let down and will choose to book somewhere else in future

Service was rushed, abrupt, dismissive, had to ask for drinks menu 3 times. They brought one meal 10 mins after ours so had to ask for mine to be reheated...it was microwaved so then dried up and rubbery. Not good. Suprised how bad it was considering.

Despite an hour wait for a booked table the staff really made up with it with the service. Simone who was running the bar sorted our table out and provided us with a complinentary drink for the delay - they were delicious! Rey was our waiter for the evening and was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, the scallops orzo special and the creme brulee were favourites!

Outstanding food and drink as always! However staff, sadly we’re not the standard expected of an Ivy. Booked our table, but queued for 45 minutes, without anyone telling us there was a delay. We watched on as everyone in front of us who were tabled of 2 entered, only to be told, ‘well you’re a table of 4 so…’ even though we had booked way in ada nice. There was no apology or no warning there was a huge delay! Just very miserable, busy staff. Upon seating, our host rushed us to order our drinks and food without 5 minutes of seating, to then have our food in front of us before the round of drinks we’d ordered 20 minutes before… all in all just terrible service, but outstanding food, so congratulations to the chefs as always.

Excellent food and fantastic value. Only downside was our table wasn’t free when we arrived and felt staff were trying to push us to eat at the bar instead. We would have liked to sit and enjoy a cocktail before food but everything came very quickly. Other than this a great experience.

The staff were lovely just not very attentive which is great if you are in no hurry as you can sit and chat for hours. It was a while before we could order drinks and then food. Once ordered the food came quickly and was lovely as always (I've been to may of the restaurant chain). When we were finished, we were left for some time to the extent that I had to go and find a member of staff to pay and as a result we didn't opt to buy dessert, which is a shame. However We had a great time as we were in no hurry.

A great place but not for a quiet chat. Food was very good though the peas with the fish and chips was not to my taste - a little too hard. Drinks were fine - really liked the chrianza. Lastly, the staff. Very efficient, really helpful and enthusiastic.
