   It was good but unfortunately we were put on table no 1 so didn't get to see the nice decor and didn't have much atmosphere where we were, The food was ok thought I should have had crispbread with my crab starter. Steaks were well cooked and good but asparagus was very al-denti even for my husband, who likes his vegetables on the crispy side. We have been to quite a few ivy's around Britain and would say for the money this was NOT one of our best experiences.

   Was our first visit to the ivy st albans and didn't disappoint. Lovely waitress attending to our needs. Great food and value and ambience. Nice touch for my birthday as presented with choux bun with candle. Will look at visiting again 😍

   Always a favourite. Please can we have some salad choices for a main course.

   Took my friends to the Ivy in St Albans tonight and we all had such a great time! From the moment we stepped inside, everyone was so welcoming and kind. Truly took the experience to another level. I’ll definitely be back and will also recommend to all my friends.

   First time here. Menu has such variety of cuisines it was hard to pick a starter that went with main without ending up with a random combination. Food was nice enough but not wow. They were very literal with 90 mins for the table, and had we wanted dessert we wouldnt have had time! Brought us bill without asking after saying we had 5 mins left! Normally even if you have set time for a table, its only strict if you werent actually still eating!

    Took my husband for his 60th birthday and it was a lovely experience for him. Excellent food with great choices and the wine was superb. The staff were extremely attentive and very professional at all times. Will definitely go again.
