The Ivy Tower Bridge
With interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the two-floors restaurant will offer guests the choice of dining within the restaurant, enjoying the view from floor to ceiling glass windows, or outside on the Parisian-style al fresco terrace seating 50 and overlooking the River Thames.
It may be a bit formulaic but it’s a great location sitting on the terrace opposite the Tower of London. Food was competent but the service was great.
Great location, fantastic that the chain are ahead of the game and can take your temperature as you walk in, the Social Distancing has been embraced in a good way and you feel comfortable wherever you are seated.
I would recommend booking for a great experience
We had an excellent meal under the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme. The food and service were fantastic and we were able to sit outside enjoying the iconic views and tropical temperatures. Thank you!
A lovely evening staff were very friendly and professional. Food delicious.
Great food and great service. The Monkfish and Prawn curry was absolutely delicious
Our first visit since lockdown and a welcome back we won’t forget . Thank you Ivy!
Food was really great, staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the sanitizer on the table.
The service was excellent, caring but efficient. They seemed happy to be back at work! Food was tasty and there is an excellent choice. The view at this particular branch of The Ivy makes it special.
We’d been looking forward to returning since lockdown and were not disappointed. Great food, wonderful location and fantastic staff. We felt totally confident, as the safety precautions were excellent and will be returning on our next visit to The Bridge.
Always a great place to escape .
We had to wait over an hour for the table even though we booked and the food came very late. I asked them to bring out a dessert for my son’s birthday but because it was nearly 11pm they couldn’t do it and offered a free dessert
They did apologise but because it was my son’s birthday I was rather disappointed. The food was amazing
Great food. Dinning room was rather warm and it needed some air con
Arrived early and went to table straight away. Staff greeting us very polite. Nice table. Very polite waitress. Very good food and wine all reasonably priced. Not rushed to leave. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
It was the best service we have received. Our conversation about anniversary was over heard by the waitress, at the end of the course she sent us a small cake, it really surprised us! Also before the starters, we didn’t like one of the drinks and ordered a Diet Coke instead, and she took it out of our bill, another surprised! Great food has been served too! Will try our best to book the very popular The Ivy Asia next time!
Good menu and food. Service slow at times and staff seemed irritable.
Everything was very good view of the tower superb. It was my wife’s birthday, so without theatre we wanted something special, which we got. We’ll be back soon..
All was good until the bill came. Unfortunately the Eat Out to Help Out discount was not deducted (even though we had selected that set menu and it was a Monday). It came with a different waiter to the waitress who had been serving us. When queried with our waitress, it was promptly brought back correct. I found this a bit disappointing and wondered how many other bills it had not been applied to. PS the food was excellent.
Excellent table on outside terrace. We had fish and chips and monkfish and prawn curry, superb, as were the starters and dessert. Service was polite and humerous, a good combination. A lovely lunch in a wonderful setting, we shall return in the very near future.
Great vibe and energy and all the members of staff were fantastic. Food was delicious too.
We’d made a special request for an outdoor table. We didn’t get one but actually the diners outdoor were packed in like sardines. The Covid protocols were not good enough. Staff had no visors or masks; place settings were recycled - I saw a member of staff pick up a paper place mat and put it back in the rack on the service desk. Menus were reused - sprayed but I query how thoroughly. Other restaurants use an app or a one time paper menu - would that be so hard for this group? Our waiter took my son’s napkin and refolded it when he wasn’t at the table. I know that is what this group has historically done but it needs suspending. The staff leant over us/got too close without any PPE or masks. I didn’t feel safe. Such a shame. This group needs to do more. A fancy hand spray on each table doesn’t cut it. It’s the appearance of making an effort as well as actually doing it. The staff need better protection as do the diners. Doors which could have been opened to allow ventilation were not. Diners themselves were wearing masks when talking to staff. That needs to be the other way around. I had reservations at other Ivy chains - Edinburgh. I’ve cancelled it.
I came as part of the eat out to help out so it was good value. However I didn’t understand why none of the servers were wearing masks.
We had a fantastic meal for our 12th wedding anniversary, great service and location would recommend
Beautiful decor, great food and even better service.
Definitely would come back and recommend to others to visit.
Absolutely amazing, cannot recommend enough!!!
Food was out of this world
Staff was amazing and so polite
Cannot fault. Excellent food, service, and views.
Thoroughly enjoyable visit!
Went for lunch on Sunday and everything was great. Food & service excellent.
I think the Ivy concept is just right ... comfortable stylish and modern with great food and service. It’s special enough to go for any occasion but not too formal and stuffy. Our favourite go to restaurant... been to about five locations and all experiences have been excellent.
Service - excellent, as always. Waiting staff knew who ordered what.
Food - above excellent. A pleasant surprise that the bar staff could make a proper pink gin - unlike Cobham!
For less that £400 for six is outstanding for London.
Stunning views across to Tower Bridge. Friendly, attentive staff. Excellent lunch menu.
I was not happy with the experience at Ivy at all. During this pandemic there was no safety measures at all. NONE of the staff had face masks, no social distancing and the waiter kept coming every 5 mins, close to our face. We felt very uncomfortable throughout. Such a big name Ivy and the measures they have taken during this time is appalling
Late Valentine and 30th Wedding Anniversary treat
We all love this restaurant and today didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing and our waitress was helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Also our train was delayed and the front desk kindly changed our booking to accommodate ~ thank you
Enjoyed our brunch very much. Food and service was excellent. Slight disappointment at the table we were given (by the window, but view of the back of the outside serving station only). Would definitely dine there again and would probably choose the same food as we liked it so much.
Service was lovely however given that we are in a pandemic I was very surprised that employees were not wearing masks.
Everything was amazing apart from the lukewarm hot chocolate
Great place, staff good, food really poor though sadly.
Perfect food, perfect location and perfect hosts!
Considering social distancing measures were in place and a few things have change still a lovely experience .
The Shepherds pie was as good as always , as were all courses.
Will be returning soon
Really bad service if you go at around 4.30/5pm, otherwise good cocktails, food and ambience.
Great customer service lovely atmosphere looking forward to returning
Really great to get out and have a lovely lunch. Great atmosphere and views and delicious food and cocktails
