The Ivy Tower Bridge
With interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the two-floors restaurant offers guests the choice of dining within the restaurant, enjoying the view from floor to ceiling glass windows, or outside on the Parisian-style al fresco terrace seating 50 and overlooking the River Thames.
Great venue and location. Staff were friendly but we had to flag someone down for anything we needed. No-one attended to the table as such
Another great evening spent here.
Lovely lunch.Just a suggestion when you have your pudding you should have a spoon accompanied by a fork as a matter of procedure.
No facilities for hanging your coats, it looks a bit messy when you have to hang your coat over the back of your chair
Have always enjoyed this restaurant in the past and this visit was no exception, thoroughly good lunch!
My poached eggs on my fish cake were too firm and not as stated. No point raising it as others in party would have had to wait. It was also too cold in the restaurant and I raised with staff but nothing changed. Overall I still like the Ivy and would go back but I didn’t enjoy it this time. Wish I’d worn my thermals.
Expected quality breakfast, but was just average. Weak hot chocolate, cold toast. Should have been better. Nice place though.
Although we have long been a fan of the Ivy - this time around we were disappointed to have been kept waiting almost endlessly through the course of our meal - I think it would help if there was way to place our orders via an app if the staff are too busy and keep us waiting for 45 min from the time we have been given our menus....
The server was excellent! When the soup came back cold he immediately replaced them and apologized.
Birthday meal for 16 y.o.
We were late for our reservation we called to let the restaurant know they were very helpful and accommodating. When we arrived and we’re shown to our table it was quite dimly lit and we had to use our phones to read the menu. We had our two grandchildren with us and our nine year old ordered breaded chicken from the children’s menu our seven year old grandson ordered a steak from the adult menu. When the chicken came it was grilled not breaded the waitress insisted that was the only chicken on the children’s menu so I asked for the chicken form the adults menu. The original meal was removed when her meal was re delivered we had virtually finished. When discussing with my granddaughter she said she had kept the children’s menu when we looked the breaded chicken was on it when queried we were told apologetically that it was an old menu, We were only charged for the child’s menu but it was a disappointing end to the day as she had to eat her meal when we had finished and the original waitress was very insistent I had made a mistake.
Wonderful breakfast, beautiful setting and view, and a great price. I'll be back each time I'm in London
We arrived at 9am and was shown to our lovely table with a great view . All the staff were pleasant and the food was amazing .
We weren’t given the choice of tap water they just bought a bottle at £4.65 .
My friend ask for lemon and hot water we were charged £2.50 which we thought was very steep we have never been charged anywhere else before .
Was a bit disappointed that the staff didn’t take the time to ask if everything was ok with the food and drinks .
Made my birthday so special and the food was amazing, will definitely be returning
Really disappointing. Have been to the ivy here before for my birthday and it was excellent so wanted to return. Food was very poor on this occasion.
Amazing food and service second time visiting now this year and both times excellent never disappointed with anything at all. Will be back for another visit very soon 😊
I made a mess of our booking, booking the wrong day. Despite this, they managed to find us a table and throughout the evening service was first class - really helpful
The service was very good, but the wait for drinks was very slow. Food was average, and not what we expected from the Ivy. The staff were more than friend and very attentive.
Waited so long for drinks, when meals came they were luke warm. Nobody checked on us until about 30 mins after the meals came out. Red wine jus was tasteless. Overall very dissatisfied with cold food and incorrect drinks orders and waiting 20 mins to get a glass of wine with our mains.
The Ivy Tower bridge is a great position on the Thames, just a pity when we went ( Nov 27th) there was an Artic wind so we had to eat indoors. We were met by a very chirpy greeter and then shown to our table by a manager wearing the most excellent Green suit. Our friends had already arrived and were sipping the most inviting G&T's. Service was first class, food and wine were excellent, dessert put a few added pounds on the waistline. After around four hours a very apologetic member of staff told us that they needed the table soon for the next booking, but that they had saved us four stools in a row at the bar is we wanted to stay longer. Lets just say we left the restaurant just before 8pm. Thank you Ivy for a great time, you should be very proud of your staff.
Delicious meal with surprise birthday dessert.
Always excellent. The food was marvellous, the service was impeccable and the experience was memorable. The best anniversary we could have hoped for.
Great food but even better service. Not badly priced for the veiw
The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the ambiance was fantastic. Highly recommend this as a place to have a great meal with good friends or family.
We all had an enjoyable afternoon. Good food lovely ambience. Will definitely go back.
Very crowded and it was said on the website to wear smart casual yet most of the people were not properly dressed. Service were slow as well. View on the tower bridge is not good as well as restaurant is in the ground level. Not really what i have expected. My dad who was celebrating a birthday was not very impressed but still grateful we managed to try here but not really coming back anymore.
As always n our visits to an Ivy restaurant they tick the box a give you a good dining experience, this time the staff were polite but very mechanical & going through the script with no real care for the customer experience, please be more natural & be more empathetic with your customers Ivy Tower Bridge.
This was a birthday treat brought by my brother. A truly great experience, great food and great views. Thank for making a great evening out.
Great location, great food. Staff very attentive and friendly. We had a great evening.
Wow! You're in for a treat. Our lunch experience at the Ivy Tower Bridge yesterday was glorious. From the fabulous setting right beside Tower Bridge to the lovely welcome, great for food and exceptional service.
Although quite busy the staff were, professional, friendly and attentive. The food was devine and very reasonably priced.
Highly recommended for a wonderful occasion of any kind.
Love this place been several times, lunch, birthday, outside are in summer perfect views of Tower of London, Thames etc, staff are polite and courteous cannot do enough for you
Great service from a yound lady. Seating and the table situated was ideal. Food we had was good in particular the john dory.
Lively, friendly atmosphere. Excellent server. Food up to standard with special Christmas menu.
Nice food but even better service. Have felt very comfortable there.
Noisy and crowded, slow service, very average food and incorrect bill.
The food and service were very good and we felt good value too. We especially liked the Christmas pudding. If I had to be super critical I would say that the batter on the fish was a little floury and the chips were a little dry. We did find the restaurant quite noisy.
Drinks service was a little slow, but staff were friendly and polite. Food was great quality as always.
Love it, always. Will be back! The food is always amazing, and the service is top class. Love the location and views both walking in, out and while there.
Lovely venue at the south side of Tower Bridge, when the lights go down and the bridge is lit up its a spectacular view too. Good attentive service from our waitress who was friendly and knowledgable and super efficient too. Our food was great, well priced and decent portion sizes. Wine & cocktails excellent too. Would definitely go back again and again.
Nice food nice staff lovely afternoon had the staff were very attentive and realised it was our wedding anniversary and acknowledged that
Lovely lunch Mums 60th Birthday. Food was delicious with attentive service.
