The Ivy Tower Bridge
With interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the two-floors restaurant will offer guests the choice of dining within the restaurant, enjoying the view from floor to ceiling glass windows, or outside on the Parisian-style al fresco terrace seating 50 and overlooking the River Thames.
Had a fantastic meal and would highly recommend. Could not fault anything.
It was my husbands birthday. Staff were lovely, delicious food thank you
Beautiful restaurant, great service. Food was quick and tasted great.
I came as it was my anniversary and was not satisfied at all. To start, we were sat a table in the dark - there was no lighting or lamp on our table so had to ask to move. I was then disappointed after I had my heart set on the salmon only to be told after I was about to order that it wasn’t available. I then ordered the brioche breaded chicken which was such a disappointment. It was described as something amazing and just tasted like burnt oven chicken and came with a ridiculous amount of dry rocket lettuce placed on top. For the Ivy I was expecting a lot better quality.
Service was good otherwise.
Enjoyed the visit. The waiters need to be a little more attentive.
Few times we struggled to get them to assist; at one point we had to get up to wave at them.
The food was amazing, went for a second anniversary! Slight wait in between courses but we didn’t mind because our server kept us well informed and always had a smile on his face! Had a great seat and the food was out of this world! Was slightly worried due to the ivy being a chain but I could not fault anything and highly recommend that everyone taste the truffle aranchini- out of this world!
Really enjoyed the Ivy. Arrived early to have a drink in the bar first and asked if we could but we're told the bar was busy so we were ushered to alternative table for an early dinner! Shame because we really wanted to go in the bar first.
I like the Ivy chain good basic food and comfortable surroundings. On this occasion maybe they were short of staff as the service was a little slow
We spent a lovely evening here celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The waiter was attentive and fun. The menu was varied and creative and we didn’t feel rushed to complete our meal as can be the case in some busy restaurants. We had a table with a fantastic view of the Tower of London. Altogether a fantastic restaurant.
Extremely tasty meal with amazing view - really enjoyed it
Great place for a girly lunch. Lovely food and great place to chill.
Impersonal, rushed, noisy and bright. Creamed spinach was worst ever had
This Ivy is consistent with the rest of them - a nice, buzzy place to eat a good meal. The prices are a bit OTT to be sure, and the welcome you get at the front desk is anything but (I always feel like I'm being granted the biggest favour of my life to be seated), but the service of the waitstaff is always terrific.
This is a classy restaurant in one of the most prestigious locations in the world. It is a restaurant where its reputation speaks it for itself. The food and service was great and worth the money. Great atmosphere, cant wait to come back.
Food was delicious, well worth the money! Lovely location and interior was pretty. Would definitely return in the future
The choice on the Theatre Menu is very restricted.
We waited 35 minutes between our starter and main course and having allowed an hour and a half for 2 courses finished rushing the meal. My salmon was overcooked and came from the wrong menu so was accommpanied by asparagus which I don't like. Too much time had gone by waiting to change it. The chicken caesar salad was an unenjoyable mass of badly presented food.
All the vegetables were undercooked not al dente.
Utterly disappointing experience at this perfectly sited restaurant.
Enjoyed a wonderful meal at The Ivy celebrating our wedding anniversary, we requested a window table and was given a great view of Tower Bridge, food and service was excellent
The location is great, literally a few hundred metres from Tower Bridge. I had booked online and when we arrived we were greeted and shown straight to a window table overlooking the bridge. Service was excellent and efficient all the way throughout the meal and the ambiance was just right. I can highly recommend The Ivy and we will be making a return visit on our next trip.
I have to say that the last time I was at The Ivy the table was round the back of the restaurant, the best place.
We had a very enjoyable brunch. The breakfast menu was available and the restaurant was nice and quiet. Eggs Royal was really delicious.
It was our anniversary so treated ourselves. Had a lovely view where we sat looking out to tower bridge. Food was lovely we had fish and chips and a chocolate bombe and a lovely touch of a little cake with a candle and a chocolate saying ‘happy anniversary’ lovely touch
I didn’t like the music and it was a bit too loud and the lighting was a little too low, but food was very good.
Third time I’ve been to lunch at The Ivy Tower Hill during the past four months and will certainly go again. Friendly, unstuffy but professional service, coupled with a relaxing atmosphere. Food very good and wine reasonably priced. Stayed for some drinks at the bar post lunch and same friendly excellent service continued.
Food wasn’t great, not very warm. Generally overpriced for what was provided and the quality of it. Coffee was too strong
Upon arrival, there had been a mix up with our booking 2 instead of 6 person. The lady at the reception area, was no over friendly at all and her body language and a roll of the eye and a pout was was not missed by the Secretary General and Deputy Secretary and MD of our company and she did not seem to want to find a reservation for us. A colleague intervined to help her.
The restaurant was not over busy at all and the area we sat in was empty other than ourselves. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive as there was a problem with the menu and what was available however during this time we were not asked if we would like another drink whilst we waited.
When our main course arrived, one dish was incorrect to wish they deducted from the bill however, the Board Member was waiting and we had finished our main course when her's arrived. The waitress's English was not a good level at all and believe this is why the error occurred. The roast salmon was bland and the two of us who ate this dish, agreed it was something we would prepare easily at home.
Overall not a great experience for a restaurant I believe, has a great reputation!
Overall I had a lovely dinner with my friend. The only thing that made the experience a bit uncomfortable was the fact that 3 different waiters asked the same thing about our order. They accidentally brought us a different starter and instead of understanding their mistake they kept coming asking about it.
The quality of the food was not suiting the ambiance and staff.
Lovely atmosphere and location. Good good. Went for Sunday brunch.
The food was its usual excellent self that we have become accustomed to in the Iv's, but the service was very slow and our server was not as happy as I perhaps would have liked.
Arrived and shown to our table lovely view service impeccable waiting time about right food lovely all in all a great couple of hours
We had a breakfast and the setting was perfect. Great views, service was good and the food excellent. Only bad thing was that I had to ask twice for brown sauce. I would recommend again and go back !
A great atmosphere with fabulous service!
Amazing meal, excellent service. Lots of choice on the menu. Lovely location looking into tower bridge at night. Would highly recommend.
The fit blonde I was with now thinks I’m minted which is good, shoutout to the staff and chefs who have helped me create a false narrative that I am loaded and am not in fact a plumbing apprentice
Food was peng.
Very enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings
Friendly staff, good food and very handy for pre-theatre meal before attending a play next door at the Bridge Theatre
Excellent food staff were great the view makes it
We loved the restaurant. The location is great along with the views and we enjoyed the food. However, the noise level was loud as we were near the place where the staff were clearing away crockery. My father in law has a hearing aid and couldn’t hear all of our conversation.
The view from the front room is stunning--overlooks Tower Bridge and the Thames, with a direct view of the Tower of London. Food is the same great quality as all the Ivy outposts. I would definitely recommend this as a bookable stop when taking visitors to London on a tour of the Southbank.
Fantastic service and location. Best beef sandwich I've ever eaten!!
Atmosphere was amazing, perfect for Saturday brunch, highly recommend!
