The Ivy Tower Bridge
With interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the two-floors restaurant will offer guests the choice of dining within the restaurant, enjoying the view from floor to ceiling glass windows, or outside on the Parisian-style al fresco terrace seating 50 and overlooking the River Thames.
Food, service and ambience where great. However, our mains took 3/4 of an hr to come. We had an 830 booking and were rushed to finish due to the 10pm curfew. We didn't have time for dessert.
Maybe making the last booking at 8pm could help.
Seats very uncomfortable for all of us - poor back support, could not provide additional cushions ‘due to COVID’.
Food mediocre. My grouse pie had little taste, same for accompanying sauces.
Beans were super runny and not pleasant. Streaky bacon was on the small side and under cooked 2 very small pieces. Sausages were underwhelming. No brown or whole meal toast at 9:45 am. Run out!
No brown sauce
Excellent. Lovely food, attentive staff, great decor/interior.
Brilliant evening celebrating our sons 18th birthday. Food amazing and service outstanding.
Excellent service!!! The waitress was very special. Sorry cannot remember her name....
Went for dinner with my Partner, asked for and sat at a table by the window overlooking Tower Bridge. Lovely food, reasonably priced, excellent efficient service. Definitely will return again!
Horrendous!!! Have dreamed of visiting the ivy to be bitterly disappointed! Apparently they had no gas! Yet other guests got food! The manager had nothing but excuses and then said the kitchen was flooded!!! We got no food and when we asked what we could have we were offered olives! There was little communication. The staff were inattentive and abrasive- and we ended up walking out ! For a name associated with luxury they should be ashamed ! An utter let down!
Excellent, quick and discreet service
Fantastic location, great food and service.
Will definitely visit again when we return to London.
Delicious wines , great atmosphere, lovely food . Grouse shepherds pie was ace . Loved the decor , each restaurant is different
First time at any Ivy restaurant and found it very underwhelming. Nothing was actually wrong but there a total lack of wow factor. Food was acceptable but not outstanding, service was more on the aloof side, good drinks list. I won’t be rushing back.
Great location views of river from the out door seating area . Food excellent and staff were on point while being adding personal touch - memorable afternoon thank you
We booked a late lunch to celebrate our daughters 15th birthday. From beginning to end we had a fantastic experience. Food was beautiful, service was good and the bill was surprising, excellent value for money. Would definitely visit again.
Our go-to place for an excellent lunch by the river.
Marked down slightly due to the lack of certain item/s on the menu. Otherwise a very, warm, comfortable and safe environment for a splendid lunch.
A great location with wonderful food and staff.
Last year we attended for our anniversary and the red carpet was rolled out and we had a brilliant experience. This year we again went for our anniversary but no complimentary dessert . Nothing . We also had to wait at the bar got 15 minutes after the booked time . No apology or complimentary drink . Service not what it was but the food was great
Steak tartare was disappointing, all the rest quite good!
My mum birthday - everything was perfect!
Eat outside, lovely view. Temperature check in entry and sanitiser on tables. Excellent service, wine list with decent reasonably priced wine and the food as expected from an Ivy chain. Next to The Bridge Theatre so very convenient for pre theatre dining.
Lovely views lovely food
Good food, good price, great location. Set lunch with 3 kids could not be faulted. Everybody happy.
The food was not as good as previous visits, staff very polite and helpful but really slow service which meant cold food unfortunately. Lovely tables at the front by the windows with amazing views which were empty and not reserved but staff seem to want to sit you at the back or near the toilets for some reason
The food was outstanding really tasty and reasonable price, however the only minor downside was the service as we waited near an 1 hour and had to ask one of the staff for how long will it take for our breakfast to come.? Apart from that the ambience was perfect and nice romantic breakfast.
Excellent view very kind personnel value for money
Good food and attentive service - a very enjoyable evening
Food amazing and what a beautiful view from our table. Really looking forward to visiting the ivy again !!!!
Not very attentive, made a couple of mistakes with our order. Lovely food although a little overpriced, lovely venue. Would recommend
Was a excellent experience for my 29th birthday meal with family
This was my third time at an Ivy Brasserie and it was disappointing.
The duck liver parfait starter was very good but I didn't expect my Shepherds Pie main to be so small and the size of my starter, not value for money.
The creme brulees didn't have a hard topping, sent them back and the replacements were marginally better.
The food was lovely, but the service was rather poor. What made the lunch quite stressful was that there were several tables that had six adults at them, all clearly from different households, breaking the Tier 2 rules that are currently in place for London.
My friend and I ordered salmon and butternut squash risotto. The risotto was extremely overcooked and was the blandest risotto I've ever eaten, no flavour whatsoever! Also, we had to wait over 40min for our mains, for which our waiter apologised a couple of times. Quite overpriced for the food quality, to be honest!
Had a lovely time at the Ivy. Our table was over looking the river thanes, the city, Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
We had an excellent service and the food was superb.
It was our Wedding Anniversary and was greeted with “happy wedding anniversary “when we arrived and at the end of our meal a small cake was bought to our table with a lit candle and a small chocolate plaque saying “happy anniversary” on it.
A very special day.
Wine suggestion great
Food very tasty
Service was lovely
Where to start.... we were really looking forward to our meal here. On arrival, we were 5-10 minutes late but were told our table wasn’t ready so we’re asked to wait outside in the rain. After ten minutes of waiting in the rain, we went in again to find out if our table was ready yet, it wasn’t but the host came out 30 seconds later to say our table was ready.
We were sat down and ordered a bottle of wine and two starters. The starter took a while and only one actually arrived, even after asking where the other starter was it still wasn’t served, so we only got one starter of the two we ordered. The food portions were small for the cost.
Really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend or return
Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Will definitely go again
Ivy is doing its best under Covid restrictions. Bar was fun, booking and welcoming staff great. Table and ambiance were lovely. Starter of jackfruit was delicious. But the blackened cod was brown and mushy - terribly cooked and almost flavourless. Hamburger was dry, dry, dry and also terribly underwhelming. Staff was rushed off their feet, so service tried to be its best, but fell short. Must do better Ivy.
The food was delicious but the service was very slow and impersonal.
Everything was amazing thank you the food was great!
