The Ivy Tower Bridge
With interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the two-floors restaurant will offer guests the choice of dining within the restaurant, enjoying the view from floor to ceiling glass windows, or outside on the Parisian-style al fresco terrace seating 50 and overlooking the River Thames.
Good quality simple food, in a beautiful environment, with Tower bridge as a view and an efficient service. Excellent quality / price ratio. Highly recommended
Very good food, tad expensive, service and staff very good
Went for a mid week lunch with a friend. Stayed 2.5 hours chatting and eating. Not rushed and the waiter knew just when to attend and when to leave us to ponder a bit longer. Food was beautifully presented and yummy. Good value.
Food and service were great but very disappointed that having booked well
In advance and explained that we were coming to celebrate a birthday that we got stuck round the back with no view except a brick wall
Food was very good. Service was very poor - delayed ordering and drinks, missing food items on meals, had to reapetedly ask for items. In main area there’s a large severs section in main restaurant so ongoing clearance of dirty dishes in plastic boxes, food delivered and placed in areas with dirty dishes, several broken glasses. Not great ambiance overall.
Oh dear. Service started fine, then once the main course arrived and our first waiter ended his service we were also left alone. Nobody came to our table to offer dessert, coffees or anything. 2 friends joined us as we were taking so long, and the staff treated them really badly, they had to "check' whether they could get them a seat. They then took another 10 minutes to offer us drinks, they arrived and we were told they needed the seats back! We would have left an hour earlier, and had more food/drinks if the staff had bothered to notice we were there. The arancini starters were great, but the burger was very average, chips were below average. So many other great restaurants in this area, I wouldn't bother with this branch of The Ivy.
The signature dish of Shepherds Pie was absoliutley Delicious!
Was initially given a table out at the back of the restaurant with a view of a wall, we asked to change and the management did so very swiftly to a window table with excellent views
Terrible service. Place was half empty on a Sunday at 10am but they still managed to have us wait 25min for our coffees. Total lack of care and attention throughout except from the head waitress who was quite apologetic about the delays. After waiting for who knows how long for our food disappointment continued: we asked for the scrambled eggs to come runny, they arrived more looking like an overcooked omelette. Eggs benedict were bland.
Drinks were comp’d in the end and they took our number so we might get a free meal as an apology, who knows. Hopefully it was just a glitch but even if the coffee machine had a temper today, it feels like nobody really knows what they are doing in there and training of the staff is completely inefficient or inexistent. Not sure i will go back, except for that complementary meal, if it materialises that is...
It was poor at best!
Very happy with the whole experience. The food was outstanding. The service was great. The view was spectacular. Great value for money.
We came here with our children at 5.30pm and the service towards the children was terrible!
The food, service and company were excellent. Fantastic decor too. Thank you.
Whilst the ambience here is wonderful, and the food good, especially the "taste fine", the service was so slow, to start off with, that it quite ruined the meal.
Fantastic afternoon at The Ivy Tower Bridge. Perfect atmosphere and service and beautiful views of Tower Bridge, The Tower of London and The City wrapped up in the space of the river. Our food was excellent too, fantastic experience, will recommend and will come again.
A professional , enjoyable, pleasant yet relaxed and welcoming venue for lunch. Overall Good value
The restaurant is in a lovely location and has a great atmosphere. The food was delicious but the main courses are not big portions. The only negative would be about the service - it was slow and clumsy and some of the waiting staff did not seem to be able to smile! Considering that you can get similar food at better prices with excellent service at places like Cote, The Ivy really do need to improve their customer service.
Second time at this branch, first time inside and apart form it being a bit noisy, I was pleased to see excellent standards being maintained. our waitress kindly moved us from a rather 'tight' table next to some rather loud talking people to a lovely quieter window table with lovely views. This was very special for my companion , for whom it was their first Ivy experience . First time for brunch for me and the vegetarian option was excellent. Keep up the standard.
We sat at the bar when first arriving as we were a little early. The bar staff were excellent and so were the drinks. When arriving at our table we were very dissatisfied. We were led to the back of the restaurant to a table which looked liked it had just been plonked there and it was by a very drafty fire exit door, the bottom of a staircase and generally didn’t belong there . I could not remove my coat as it was freezing. When the waiter arrived I voiced my concerns and asked to be moved. He was very apologetic and said he would check. He returned and said he had a table available for us which was perfect. Maybe don’t have tables by drafty fire exits in the first place to avoid this. We were not the only people to complain. The table next to us had money taken off the bill due to the poor table positioning.
Our food was superb and the ambience was lovely.
I would definitely visit again.
Family Birthday - good meal, food was generally great and the view of Tower Bridge was fabulous. Service was good but could have been ‘warmer’; not many smiles 😁. Decent value for money considering location, quality etcetera.
Great food and service in a lovely location. We had a great time!
My partner and I had such a lovey time at the Ivy London Bridge. The food was delicious and the desserts were to die for.
I will definitely return and would highly recommend. I will also try their afternoon tea. Good service lovely staff
Excellent food and excellent atmosphere. Could not recommend enough!
It was very busy on the evening we attended and had a very noisy group behind us which was very annoying
Our first time at The Ivy Tower Bridge - will definitely be returning. Beautiful setting, service & food was first class. Staff very friendly.
Such a lovely meal...couldn’t rate this place highly enough. The waiter Dominik catered to our every need. Will be booking again ;)
Post The Bridge theatre dinner. Sat upstairs and like this more than down. Always a reliable menu and good value, with stunning views of the Bridge and city at night.
I went to celebrate my birthday and I just can say that the experience was perfect! Delicious food, fancy wines, the service was so kind and the views were amazing. It was cheaper than I expected so it is totally recommendable.
So as I regular to the Ivy Tower I have to say the service on this night was brilliant. We had very attentive and happy people who were constantly smiling and doing their best for us, throughout the night, it was brilliant. There has been a slight change to the menu, for the better, we had baked salmon, sweet potato dish with aubergines a brilliant sauce, which was fantastic, and a selection of greens. The food was spot on. Ambience was amazing and we sat overlooking Tower Bridge. Overall, a fantastic experience. Thank you to all the staff that night.
Very romantic dinner and good price as well
Staff were really nice
Amazing location and venue. The ambiance is very good. The food could be better though, it didn't give us any impression that it was something special. Portions were a little small and menu was ok. I'd definitely recommend the venue for its location and ambience.
Always been a fan of the ivy chain of restaurants.
The soho brassiere is our regular haunt but it was my first visit to the Ivy in towerbridge. The restaurant is huge and spread over two floors and the view of the bridge in the background is stunning and I can imagine that brunch here on a summer day will be brilliant. The food, service, view and overall ambience gets a full 5 stars from me.
Amazing food with an Amazing view. We selected our dishes off of the set menu, and it was brilliant price for what we had. Lovely interior and service too. Will definitely visit again as we had such a great evening there.
We went for the pre-theatre menu but it didn’t appeal so we both chose the blackened cod, it was excellent. I had the creme brulée but was a little disappointed as the topping hadn’t been heated recently, the custard was room temperature & it’s texture was a little runny - although it tasted very good.
Service was courteous & prompt. We got into the theatre on time.
The toilets were clean too.
Very good pre theatre dinner with excellent service and food. We were a party of 2 and the table we had was rather cramped as it was right up against a pillar and close to the adjacent table so not easy to get seated. Apart from that an excellent place to dine.
Overall a very good experience. Great views and location, good service and food. Not the cheapest but good value all things considered.
Great menu, view, food and decor. Attentive staff without being intrusive
Miki was a great waiter, he has exceptional knowledge of the menu and great recommendations. The manager who sat us down was also very friendly and approachable
Had a great experience
Really lovely staff, really nice food, well priced. Have a lovely time, thank you
