The Ivy Tower Bridge Ratings and Reviews
It was a Sunday and it was late, we had limited options. We booked and they called us back to confirm the reservation. We arrived 15 minutes late but they accommodated us and gave us window seats with views to the Tower of London! The food was divine, really, I’m hard to impress, but I was! Excellent service! The icing on the cake is the reasonable pricing!!! 10 out 10!
Highly recommend. Couldn’t fault The Ivy Tower Bridge. We had a table for 4 upstairs by the windows overlooking Tower Bridge. What a view! The selection of food is excellent, reasonably priced and absolutely gorgeous. The service was attentive, we didn’t feel rushed at all which makes a change to other places we have visited, we were able to relax with our guests and enjoy the wonderful food and stunning views that this amazing restaurant has to offer.
What a great find - a place for grown ups where you can actually have a conversation over dinner without shouting at each other, enjoy a magnicifcent view of Tower Bridge, the Thames and the Tower of London, yet with a nice, unpretentious vibe. Next door to the Bridge Theatre, so very convenient for pre-theatre dining. Service was highly professional and knowledgeable, yet friendly. Food-wise, my non-vegetarian dining companion fared off better than I, although as a vegetarian, appreciated very much not having to eat risotto or pasta. The food was tasty, elegantly presented and very good value. A very nice and accessible wine list, too. Will definitely be returning. Ask for a table upstairs, nexgt to the window.
Everything was wonderful I had asked when I booked it to try get tower bridge view as it was treat for 70th birthday we really got thee best seats in the house!
The menu was amazing I thoroughly recommend the duck curry! Service outstanding! They even treated us to birthday chocolate truffles! The birthday girl said she will never forget the experience! Thank you
Attached picture of view from our table!
We were party of 6 seated at large table upstairs for a birthday pre theatre meal. I arrived early on my own and was seated at the table (wonderful views and comfy chairs) the staff all came over to chat to me while I waited which was a lovely start to the meal. The cocktails were spot on as was the homemade ginger beer. The food was perfect and the service outstanding. We loved it and will definitely be coming back.
From entry to departure all was good. The staff are friendly and helpfu. The ambiance and view from the second floor of the restaurant. After dark Tower Bridge and all the buildings are beautifully lite and so add to the dining experience. The food on the set menu is of a impressive standard. Well worth visiting and will return.
Great long lunch with friends on a Sunday with the Brunch menu. Staff are friendly and helpful. The brunch menu is full of simple delicious grub and the wine list was brilliant. There were five of us and we all had three courses with not one duff course between us. Highlights were the steak tartare and the halibut. Veggie side dishes were lovely and crisp and our veggie friend was well catered for. Overall a great meal and we will return
This was my second visit to the Ivy Cafe at Tower Bridge and it was as good as the first time, I would recommend this restaurant the food was very good quality and the chocolate bomb pudding was amazing.
Service was exceptional, the staff are welcoming, polite and chatty and I will be visiting again - hopefully soon.
What a lovely surprise to find a good restaurant next door to The Bridge Theatre that served us excellent food quickly and without fuss so that we could get to the play on time. There was a special price for pre-theatre diners too. Great food, very reasonably priced and a very pleasant location. We'll go again often, theatre visit or not
This new Ivy is situated in a prime location by Tower Bridge. I live locally and had a friends birthday coming up so I booked a table upstairs to get the best view. I was really pleased to find that all the fine qualities of The Ivy have been retained, great service, deco and wonderful food at reasonable value. Plus, the clientele were well dressed and it was not just full of tourists but real people. Outstanding and all class.
Great surroundings, superb location overlooking tower and tower bridge. Good choice of food. Specials were advised with the price too which was new to me but much appreciated!
Food could have been hotter but was still very nice. Pumpkin soup was delicious.
Very pleasant experience would definitely go again.
The four of us loved our choices of scallops to start, plus raw mixed veg with avocado and hummus...healthy starter option. Crab linguine main..very good and the men loved the burgers. Most enjoyable Rose wine from the Languedoc. The view of Tower bridge in lights was amazing and we had one of the best tables upstairs in the restaurant. Service was very attentive...never had to pour our wine or water...good waiting staff. This is our second visit...we were downstairs last time...very busy....great ambience. Can't wait to return.
This is quickly becoming one of my favourite spots to take family and friends when they come to visit me in the city. I love the service, friendly staff, delicious food and perfect location. Considering the quality as well, everything is very reasonably priced and I always enjoy the happy and welcoming atmosphere of the place. You're made to feel so welcome, no matter who you are, and I always feel a little bit special when I'm there.
Affordable, quality food..a traditional menu but with an Ivy like feel. The service was very good for our 2 person Saturday lunch - food delivered in a timely manner and with a smile . Tuna carpaccio and mushrooms on toast were classy starters, then we had more traditional mains and then the big finish....design your own waffle. Very nice. 3 course lunch with 5 glasses of wine and procsecco for £100.
