The Ivy Victoria Brasserie
Open seven days a week, the restaurant serves an all-encompassing menu, complete with modern British classics and internationally inspired dishes for those looking to enjoy breakfast, coffees, weekend brunch, lunch, cocktails and dinner.
A usually very busy restaurant was only 25% full due to the current Covid-19 crisis.
Staff were friendly and polite. Food up to the usual high standard.
We wish the Ivy group best wishes for the future given the current problems.
The staff were so lovely, when we finished dessert there was not a hint in the slightest to hurry us out, or get the bill, which meant we made further orders of drinks. Very lovely experience for my 90 year old mother and 21 year old son neither of whom had been to an Ivy restaurant before. thank you.
Great food, lovely décor all at a reasonable price
Delicious food and great service. A real treat and recommend 100%
Very nice food and service. Pleasant staff in nice surroundings. Was able to pre book at the time we wanted with no problem.
Lovely restaurant however no toilet roll in the ladies toilet given the Coronavirus status.
Lovely meal, good service. Roast salmon and champagne and caper sauce with truffle mash, delicious 😋
No - this is not on a par with the rest of the Ivy chain. The service was very poor despite being quiet. The starters and mains came out on top of each other because the kitchen was so quiet but despite that we had to ask for our wine on numerous occasions, the birthday celebration happened after being prompted three times we just left to track down our waiter if we wanted anything.
Lovely meal and very attentive , helpful staff who made the birthday boy feel special!
Table perhaps rather small for all the food we ordered!
Loved the decor and ambiance, menu varied and good brasserie standard, waiter was a little overworked so service suffered but this is mainly because the place was very popular.
Not too far from several theatres so good place for lunch before the matinee
I have written a review on Trip Advisor.
Great place for lunch. Attentive service, and good food. Been a good few times now and very consistent too 👍🏽
Food was horrible, tasted like it had been heated up in a microwave.
Beautiful Setting, Beautiful Food and a Wonderful Experience. It’s now my favourite Ivy restaurant and I’ll definitely be back.
Stunning decor. The toilets are a must to visit! Fantastic service with excellent food and wine. We've been to a few Ivy's around the country and all have been fab. Quite pricey and has a dress code but we went for a special occasion and we weren't disappointed. Service charge is added automatically to the bill. Our waiter also treated us to several card tricks at the end of the evening once most of the other customers had left. Favourite Ivy items on the menu are the Ivy G&T and the courgette frittes - yummy!
We enjoyed our first evening at Ivy Victoria, a great setting, a lively ambiance, great service and food. We would recommend it and we will come again, thank you. We are local and we are so pleased as it is SO much better than Jamie Oliver's that was there before!
Te restaurant was less busy than before (?coronavirus) but I and my guests enjoyed the experience.
A really lovely venue. Dramatic and exciting decor. Clearly a huge amount has been invested in the restaurant and it looks and feels stunning. (My female guest was hugely impressed with the Ladies loos!!!) The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive. An excellent lunchtime venue, now I must try it for dinner. Great addition to the area.
Good to have a nearby restaurant that has good food.
You need to do something about those entrance doors they really are very difficult to open.
Why only one handryer in the mens bathroom . No hand towels either . With current concerns about washing your hands I think you need to step this up as when its busy you cant dry you hands properly.
Very nicely decorated Brasserie. Good choice of food. Drink is a little expensive ( £7.75 a glass of Prosecco) excellent staff and not too crowded. Although couple snogging at next table was a bit much to tolerate .
Wonderful venue, great staff, delicious food and the most important AMAZING design
Lovely setting. Amazing bathrooms! Delicious food, attentive service and superb company.
Excellent food and service. Bright and airy dining room - great venue for brunch.
Food and restaurant is very nice however the service was terrible. Waited nearly an hour before someone took our order and the waiter could barely raise a smile. I’ve eaten in many Ivy restaurants however will never return to the Ivy Victoria, you need to get your act together.
This was our first visit to the Ivy Victoria . The service was outstanding as was the food.
There was a good varied menu, reasonably priced.
We often eat out in London and at some expensive restaurants and this was on a par with all of them.
We will definitely return and highly recommend.
Very good addition to Victoria's range of choice. Food exceptional, good value wine list. Cramped table layout is uncomfortable and one guest was continually bumped by passing staff, who did not seem to care. One drink removed before finished by a waiter sticking his fingers in the glass. No charge for a full replacement but it was a bit thuggish. Good attention to disabled needs.
I thought the whole place was a great experience - but I have to be honest - it was beer difficult to attract any of the waiters - when we tired to order wine or get any thing extra - and we waited quite a long time to get our drinks. Having said that they were absolutely charming . I did not really enjoy my tempura prawns and squid - it was very heavy on the bread crumbs and oil and one could barely taste that it was fish .Probably one of the highlights of the whole evening for me was - most surprisingly for you - the loo s ! So so pretty so clean and just a joy to spend time there ! I will definitely visit again but will chose carefully what I eat . As far as value for money goes I did think it was very expensive ! Overall though a most enjoyable evening a very good vibe !
The Ivy Brasseries have expanded too quickly. We've gone to quite a few several times over the past few year. Richmond, Covent Garden mainly. However, Victoria's was poor, the staff were sloppy, we had to ask for our pre dinner drinks and it was all a bit slow and mediocre. The food was pretty average. Typical problem when you grow too quickly. They need to think seriously about what they are doing as they have peaked, and their popularity will fade quickly. Shame.
Waiter very helpful. Good table. Disappointing was the starter & main course which had excellent taste but was not very hot. Would I come back with my guests. Answer us yes. Provided I get the same waiter with the food at a more higher temperature
A beautifully decorated restaurant- loved all the flower wall paper even in the posh loos! Excellent service, delicious risotto, loved smoked salmon and crab started so tasty. Rib eye steak very average and overcooked was only let down, especially as £31.
Already booked to return.
Excellent welcome at reception
Wide range of choice on menu
Wanted a quick meal pre event and do preferred food at same time as drinks. Served quickly although forgot one of the drinks but got there eventually. No complaints, 4 decent steaks at reasonable price in London
A modern stunning venue in a convenient location, good service and friendly staff. We had scallops and they were delicious, can’t wait to go back.
Service was a bit slow & the duck curry contained very little duck.
The food was lovely but the service wasnt what i would have expected from the Ivy.
Had a client breakfast here and the food and service were both excellent.
I found the ladies at the front desk quite rude (the ones in red), like I didn't belong there. Our waiter was incredibly slow despite being told we were going to the theatre. We did have to wait for another diner but we told him that we would order for her as she knew what she wanted. The lady who took over from him (I'm sorry, I didn't catch her name - she has a wheat allergy and she's Italian) was just wonderful. She gave us a discount, which was very kind and not what I was expecting at all.
I would recommend The Ivy, Victoria but not for a coeliac. Very limited menu for us sufferers.
It was a real pleasure to be in such lovely surroundings and although quite busy, it was not unpleasant - good menu, especially pleased to note vegan dishes were clearly indicated, staff attentive and helpful so all in all a positive experience and will definitely return in future.
Super staff and delicious food. Slightly long wait in between courses but worth it.
