Lovely Brunch enjoyed everything thank you I would recommend The Ivy
Went to the ivy for breakfast on Sunday and again for late afternoon lunch on the same day, this is the third time we have visited twice in one day. Absolutely love the food and the service, the decor is beautiful. We eat breakfast out every Sunday in many different towns and cities but the breakfast at the ivy is one of our favourites. The waitress on Sunday late afternoon was really lovely and helpful and chatty, it's the first time we have been seated upstairs and really enjoyed it because we had one of the corner tables and it was definitely quieter then downstairs and was relaxing. Lovely place all round and can't wait to go back in a few weeks, probably twice in the same day again knowing us, thanks Lisa
The only downside was the price of the extortionate drinks and the very loud music . Also we were sat downstairs and it was quite cold due to the air conditioning
First time we have been due to recommendations.. came to celebrate my fiancé’s 30th. It didn’t disappoint.. we were looked after from when we entered to when we left. Food was gorgeous, great selection and the atmosphere was perfect. Will be returning
Lovely brunch for my friends birthday , she had a lovely time and so did we, didn't make us feel awkward when my child started screaming and needed to be breastfed , overall nice day out in lovely Leeds
Not sure, it is one of the few restaurants in Leeds where one can eat after theatre performance but I found food quality variable, service average and unacceptable level of noise and loud inappropriate music, which I had to ask several times if it would be possible to turn down. Price in line with what you would expect from The Ivy
Had an amazing time at The Ivy! It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food and cocktails were fantastic!
Whilst the service was efficient I do not like to be referred to by waiting staff as 'my love or 'sweetheart. I expect at The Ivy to have a 5 star experience and this type of endearment falls short of the mark. The man to my right I noticed was 'sir' not 'mate or 'pal'. Why could this level of professionalism not be extended to me? I am a Northern woman and therefore understand our 'nothernisms' but I found this waiter to be patronising and I didn't like it.
Food as always great, surroundings lovely.
I have now been on numerous occasions to this restaurant and every time my order has been wrong or not arrived, although when the food does come its very good
The service was very good and I have made another booking for November & look forward to having good food again
We had afternoon tea, which was very pleasant and enjoyable. The choice of sandwiches & cakes were excellent. Lots of tea too. Extremely filling. The decor is beautiful. The waitress was lovely. Very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend
Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere and great service! Thank you!
we enjoyed a very nice meal at The Ivy, the food and service were very good and at no time we we rushed.
The reason for not giving an outstanding rating is that we were not offered the vegetarian and vegan menu which I now understand is available, and there were very limited choices on the main menu.
Lovely restaurant, great staff & fantastic food. Definitely recommend and would visit again when in Leeds.
The staff were excellent, very personable and lovely. It was my birthday on the day we went, but I hadn't put this on the booking, nor had my Mum told them. But the waitress heard a comment and brought a small cake over with a candle to wish me happy birthday - lovely personal touch. Made the experience even better!
I have eaten here quite a few times now and there has been no difference in the service we received on each occasion - excellent! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are friendly and polite and smile unlike staff in some restaurant but this is The Ivy and they all look happy in their work which goes towards the lovely atmosphere/ambiance. The table service is superb. The food is first class. I would highly recommend The Ivy.
Great food every time. Delicious cocktails and a lovely atmosphere. Probably my favourite place in Leeds.
Lovely experience, fantastic environment waiters just a bit too attentive and fussy . Was offered water when we arrived but they didn’t say it was £3.95 a bottle we’re had 2 bottles . I thought that was expensive . I believe all good restaurants should offer iced water as standard.
Really lovely food and service. Would definitely go again.
A lovely meal in a friendly but convenient setting.
My friends and I had a day out to Leeds for shopping and lunch in The Ivy last Tuesday. We received excellent service from walking in the door. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday lunchtime with a great ambience. The food was fantastic as were the cocktails! The chocolate bomb pudding was particularly impressive. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Had an amazing experience.. staff amazing very attentive and nothing too much troubles.. I didnt like the starter and only had a tiny mouthful .. when the plate was taken away I was asked if every was ok and I explained I didn't like the starter as it wasn't what I expected .. I feel that an alternative as a gesture could have been offered as if in another restaurant it would be .. I probably wouldn't have had another starter but the offer would have been nice ..
I think that the ivy staff need to realise that the customer needs to feel special .
Little things like asking if your foods is ok
Just plesentarires eg on arrival it would be nice to be asked if your ok,or are you having a nice day ,instead of saying do you want to hang up your coat
On leaving just saying have you’ve had a lovely time,
Instead the blond lady didn’t have time of day , we had to ask her for our coats
The staff seem to think they are better than the customer,
Lovely experience using a voucher for my 60th Birthday. Glad they chose this venue.
Lovely building, ambience and food!
Ok, so there’s a Service Charge added automatically but then, the guys serving are pretty amazing.
Food wise, we opted for nibbles to share to start with and then, the Monkfish and Prawn curry, Lamb and a kiddies Fish and Chips, Dessert being the Chocolate Bombe, all was delicious.
I noted on the booking, it was a birthday and a little cake was presented at the end, a lovely touch.
Nice decor and open spaces, although quite close to next tables. The ambience was nice, not too noisy. The service was ok and the food was good but feel the prices are way too high. The prices are way too high for the quality of the food and £9.50 for an Irish Coffee is ridiculous. Nice but not nice enough to return
Really enjoyable meal, great atmosphere fab evening
Beautiful food in a relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend.
It was perfect, would definitely recommend it and will definitely be returning.
Great food, amazing service from our waitress. Very good with gluten free and other requirements as well as disabled access. Music a bit loud at times but ok.
Been trying for months to get by Husband to come for lunch, he loved it so will definitely be booking again.
We had a lovely experience, was looked after by the staff and served quickly and meal was excellent
Our party of 3 loved our visit to The Ivy Leeds. Our brunch was beautiful, the cocktails were very disappointing. Not worth what we paid. They promised lovely infusions of whatever, but failed to deliver. The service was excellent, very attentive. Will return, but will order a cup of tea next time. 😊
Once again the food and service were very good, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts, there was a nice ambience in the restaurant and the decor is very lovely and added to the enjoyment of our visit.
From start to finish the experience was fantastic, the service and food were amazing and for such a busy restaurant this can often be hard to achieve.
The decor, the food and the service was first class and the entertainment to celebrate Leeds light night fit in well with the theme of the restaurant. Will definitely recommended to my friends and family and I will be spending more time here enjoying the excellent menu. Thank you to the staff at the ivy for an excellent evening. xx
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Ivy restaurant in Leeds, the staff were very smart and polite, they were knowledgeable on the food and drinks menus, the ambiance was good and we both enjoyed the meal. Excellent.
An enjoyable experience for dinner. Really good food and service. To me nothing is perfect so 4/5.
I had a lovely lunch in the Ivy, Leeds on Monday. The atmosphere was very good and so is the decor. The service was excellent and the food was very nice. Will definitely go again when I am next in Leeds.
