I had booked very early so was disappointed to be seated at a very small table in the corner but it was very busy. I was also served the wrong wine but that mistake was quickly rectified. The food was lovely and the usual high quality and the service was impeccable so overall the experience was good.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The ambience was second to none. We were celebrating a birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a better experiences. There was a slight problem with “cool” chips but the staff were very efficient and rectified the problem immediately. We can’t fault THE IVY and highly recommend them.

Our waitress didn’t write our meal choices down as a consequence we were brought the wrong vegetable side dish and by the time this was rectified we were more than half way through our meal. The steak my husband had although cooked as he requested was not very tender and the cheese truffle chips only had cheese and truffle on one chip on the top of the dish. We have eaten at this restaurant many times however on this occasion we felt it fell short of our expectations and its usual standards. Not sure we’ll be returning any time soon.

It was not really festive inside or out. The Christmas decor was disappointing! No decorations outside over the door like I. Previous years! And a very small plainly decorated tee. Expected much more!

Food came out cold, coffee took more than 30 mins each order. Kids running around the place shouting. We did get our meal compensated by the manager which was a helpful end to the meal but disappointing considering the status and reputation of the IVY. Will re consider before booking next time

Right from the start of the evening the staff couldn’t have been more attentive, the food was delicious and very good value for money, the atmosphere was great and a special mention must go to Jan our waiter for the evening who was absolutely fantastic ( helpful and very friendly) a total pleasure Love the Ivy-Leeds!!

Invited friends to the ivy as we are regular customers.Very upset and dissapointed ,had to send my guests food back as was swimming in grease . My food was also really bad ,so left the food and left after paying the bill .Really disappointing as always loved it here 😟😟

Staff on arrival was ok seated in a really bad draft to the point before my starter had to put my coat on as was very cold and drafy as staff were also serving outside seating and the door was a slow closing door which caused a massive draft , no one ever commented on the fact I was sat with a sheepskin coat on inside eating and no one asked if the meal was ok , the food was nice but didn’t enjoy it much as I should have due to being freezing cold and very uncomfortable trying to eat with a coat on , even when we paid the bill the staff member didn’t ask if we enjoyed our meal which I thought was not good as I would have stated about being very cold we also asked for the service charge to be taken off due to the above but after checking afterwards was actually charged it which really annoyed me , don’t think I would go again which is a shame Kim Lowe

Not the experience expected from a restaurant with such a reputation. Table was situated right next to the door and it was freezing. Ask to be moved - not possible. Ordered a side dish with main, which didn’t arrive at the same time. Had to wait 15 minutes for drinks after our meal. Concierge was rude, restaurant was obviously busy with not enough staff or they had over booked. Head waiter from a different area chased up our drinks. Only good thing was waitress was very pleasant. Then had the cheek to add service charge to bill - wouldn’t have left a service tip as the whole experience was terrible - even to the point that the girl on the next table was brushing her hair - charming. Definitely wouldn’t go back

Pleasant place to sit and eat. Atmosphere is lovely, right temperature to sit and eat, some places I find just uncomfortable when out for meals. The decor is always eye catching in The Ivy establishments which makes it so nice and relaxed atmosphere. Service & food never fails. Quality all round and reasonably priced.

This is the best Ivy I’ve been to. Beautiful decor - the ladies washroom is a treat😆 Great food, efficient friendly service, lovely buzzy atmosphere. The room we were in was a bit on the fresh side so my only tip would be to turn the heating up a little bit. Otherwise it was just lovely and we will definitely be back.

So looking forward to this meal very disappointed I had scallops in risotto starter only aired rib eye steak red wine sauce I teaspoon of sauce very disappointed not worth £37 .00 cocktails were lovely .2 tables complaining about bill very loudly .not the best time felt ripped off I’m not one to complain but felt sad .

Absolutely fantastic experience for breakfast. We were only staying in Leeds overnight but this was on my 'to do' list. Festive breakfast is great value for money and top quality. The staff are all pleasant, professional and attentive making it a lovely experience. The only criticism is that we were seated very close to other diners, understandably to get maximum numbers in but hard to chat when your neighbours are speaking loudly.

Amazing food and wonderful, attentive staff. Let down slightly by air conditioning blowing too cool a breeze to be comfortable without a jumper (which we didn’t have, and coats to eat would have been awkward). For a special occasion it’s worth the extra but £100 per head is the budget for a 3 course meal.

Place wonderful so was the service. The only negative for me was that the chicken skewers were not chicken breast meat, I have never had a skewer that was t breast so never thought to check

This was my third visit and as always, it was a lively experience in a very classy setting. Good service and lively attention to detail. The only tiny thing was that the fishcake could've been hotter. It was as if it had been waiting a while to be brought out. However it was lovely and the crushed peas as amazing. The crispy duck salad is also a beautiful starter.

We were asked to leave the table after 1 hour and 15 mins. The allocated slot should be 1 hour 45 mins and I found the guy who asked us to leave was very abrupt. Not happy!!!
