Booked to go and even had to confirm we were attending our booking and when we got there it was closed!
Wasted trip
I did think it was odd they were taking bookings when in tier 3 but though they must have something in place! So we made the trip across.....
Lovely evening, as always, at The Ivy. The service was particularly excellent once more and the zucchini fries were a real highlight, as well as the prawn cocktail. We are. We drank. And we were merry.
Fantastic food and drink and the service was very professional, we loved our night out
Good food and atmosphere but not a patch on Manchester if you’ve been there!
I had the monkfish and prawn curry and my husband had the chicken Milanese which were both very nice and would highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing as usual, fantastic service and food was cooked to perfection. Overall staff very efficient friendly and very helpful
Very nice night before lockdown, food lovely and service great!
This place was awesome. The food was excellent, service was great.
Always a pleasure! The service, food and atmosphere is excellent as always. We can’t wait to come back!
Our visit was a welcome relief before lockdown, the only complaint I had was it was quite draughty every time someone exited the side door
Fabulous experience for our pre lockdown celebration
It was incredible -I’m a chef of some credit in the industry and I was delighted beyond my expectations
Amazing food amazing service couldn’t fault anything.
The food and service were both amazing!! Would definitely go back there
One the best restaurants in Leeds. Always a good atmosphere, the service is fantastic and so is the food.
We had previously had a bad experience with service at the Ivy, but decided as we were in to try it again. I'm glad we did as it was brilliant.
The table was perfect, the food amazing and service excellent. My partner had the grouse shepherds pie which he loved.
Thanks to all for making out last meal out before Lockdown 2.0 so good.
Fixed price three course menu was so tasty, though they had run out of our chosen first course, so we had to choose off the main menu, which made it slightly more expensive. The Tuna Caprice was fabulous, the chicken main tasty and the icecream dessert lovely. Also nice touch, we were given a birthday cake slice. The rose wine we were recommended was fabulous. Service and ambience reliably very good, only criticism they forgot twice to refill our wine glasses.
Loved it.
Never disappointed with the service food and ambience at The Ivy, it sets the Benchmark for others to follow.
A lovely birthday treat, they even brought a tiny cake out with a candle in it! Such a good lunch deal too, two courses for £17 or three for £21. Delicious food and great portions, two courses was more than enough. Will definitely be returning.
Took the wife for lunch as a final treat before lockdown. Not been before but we both really enjoyed the experince. I thought the tuna carpaccio starter was simply immense. I might well have 3 courses of that next time.
This is my third time visiting the ivy but the first since lockdown.
The waitress was super friendly and went above and beyond. I mentioned that it was my birthday next week and she got me a surprise little cake with a candle. I wasn’t expecting this but this is something you don’t really see in any restaurant and there’s always an extra charge for a candle and a small cake. Thank you.
Overall, yummy food, fabulous service and I felt safe with the level of cleaning and covid safety measures in place when serving food, cutlery, card machine etc.
Thanks once again. Please give my feedback to the manager of the waitress who served us on the day.
First visit and was not disappointed I was so thrilled as we visited the Ivy for a birthday meal for my husband who was equally impressed. Can’t wait to go back.
The food was outstanding! We had the 2 courses for £17 and for the quality of food it was such good value for money. The waiters/waitresses were so lovely. Would definitely recommend.
Great ambience, great food and service. I always feel aggrieved at the standing service though.
Fabulous as always Leeds Ivy is wonderful fabulous staff and good thanks so much.
Great meal. Great location. Great service. Highly recommended.
Very good attentive staff and felt safe.
Lovely food.
Ordered shepherds pie which was very tasty but a but a bit smaller than I had anticipated.
Chocolate bombe is one of the best desserts ever!
This is not somewhere I would normally go. Went there as a treat as a planned trip away was cancelled due to new Covid restrictions. My idea beforehand was that it would be quite stuffy and formal but it wasn't. Staff were friendly and attentive the whole time without being over the top. Especially given that they have to close soon due to lockdown, they were welcoming and professional throughout. Atmosphere was relaxed and food was good too!
Fabulous food and exceptional service added to a wonderful dining experience
Delish food, great ambience put together with fab service 😀👌
We had a lovely lunch. The food was great and we had a good table by the window. We felt safe
A birthday celebration brunch which was absolutely fabulous. The luxury shepherds pie was delicious and the chocolate bomb out of this world. Fabulous experience in these difficult times and the staff were superb.
Outstanding food in elegant surroundings. The fig dessert is the best thing I’ve eaten.
The food, service and care taken over customers was exemplary.it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely go again.
Lovely meal, every course was delicious and served beautifully
Forgot how gorgeous this place is. The food is always beautiful and the staff are amazing!!!
I think this is the best small chain restaurant group in the country. You still get the vibe and service of the original restaurant.
This is a lovely restaurant and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. The food is good and generally good value.
However, my evening was ruined by ordering a very sub-standard rib-eye steak. At £32 you expect something better than the chewy and unspectacular offering I received, with no extras in the price. I can buy and cook much better quality steak from Lidl.
Bitterly disappointed, and so much so that we are not encouraged to return.
i asked for a specific table which was not made available even though i asked over a week ago , i was then sat directly in line of sight of the toilet , not the most pleasurable eating experience i'm afraid. i am extremely disappointed in the IVY Leeds. Seams the attention to detail and user experience wasn't at the forefront that night
Very pleasant evening. Safe, clean and efficient si passed the Covid thing with flying colours.
Food was great, wine and beer great, slightly over priced but you expect that. I hope the staff aren’t on min wage!!!
Highly recommended
