Fantastic meal with 8 of us for my sons 22nd, everybody’s food was superb and Alex the waiter lovely .. well done to all the staff
Fabulous evening our waiter dean was wonderful please give this feedback to him
I had the minute steak delicious
My husband had sirloin also very good
Great food, great service, great ambiance. Perfect for a special occasion.
Lovely relaxing meal, have been a few times and always have a positive experience
The Ivy Leeds is a perfect place to dine.
Everything about it is excellent
We had excellent service from a young waitress, who was discreetly attentive and made sure that my mum had a lovely 80th birthday experience. We had afternoon tea and the sandwiches and scones were delicious but the top layer of cakes were disappointing. The red velvet was dry, the shortbread was soggy and the macaroon had a slight floral taste and left our teeth blue. Although this gave us a laugh and overall it was a lovely experience, I didn’t think it was value for money. I would have happily paid a bit more for a more palatable selection of cakes. The lovely waitress did bring my mum a profiterole with a candle which was definitely the highlight.
Lovely and charming place to eat. Went to celebrate two birthdays and it was really enjoyable. Service was excellent but not overly intrusive, great place for a relaxing meal with good quality food and drinks
Absolutely faultless service and food. Thank you very much
Excellent from arrival to departure. Staff are well trained, friendly and polite, attentive but not overbearing, food simple but excellent backed up with great surroundings. We look forward to our next visit.
Great service and excellent food
My first visit since the various lockdowns- delighted to report The Ivy has not lost its sparkle!
Excellent as always. Food here is always spot on as is the service. Love the decor/surroundings too!
Nice meal with lovely service from a nice waitress
Very poor front of house staff who didn’t seem to be able to relay to us that our table wasn’t ready. Took us to the bar which was also full up. So sat us outside. We had to wait half an hour for our table. The evening was saved by wonderful food and a fantastic waitress. Need to sort out front of house to deal with problems and not have a line of them all looking at the floor embarrassed.
Everything was spot on until the end… we were a party of 4, 2 vegans and 2 non vegans, and it was a vegan birthday dinner - the birthday cake which was brought as a surprise wasn’t vegan so tainted a bit. Other than that, outstanding all round.
The nicest food/restaurant experience. Service from Hannah was second to none.
Really disappointed with our experience yesterday. Cold food, items missing, drinks forgotten, slow service and a very hefty bill at the end means we won’t be rushing back any time soon. Great atmosphere and a beautiful place to spend a couple of hours was not backed up by our experience sadly. Raise your game please The Ivy.
Brilliant place ,staff excellent food outstanding .
Service quite poor!
We queried the sandwich selection but went with the chicken and truffle which we could not eat. We told the waiter but nothing came of it.
Wonderful experience, lively and ambient offering great service
Fab meal, would definitely recommend. The Rose wine was lush too.
Just book it! You will enjoy the experience.
Despite it being a frantically busy day, our server went out of her way to make our visit a special occasion.
We were sat at a corner table by window as requested. Courteous Yong man served us (didn't catch his name but had medium length wavy/curly hair, pale skinned). Eggs Benedict were delicious as always. Always feels like a real treat.
The whole experience was outstanding will definitely be returning xx
Amazing food, drink and service. Server was very attentive, polite, but not intrusive - restaurant and staff ooze class! We had an amazing evening
Superb evening, high end service from all the staff. The food was delicious. Great advice regarding what to order and which wine to select. 5 star all the way.
Very friendly and pleasant welcome at the front door was rather undermined by the long time it took to be served water and initial drink. My starter of Steak Tartare was excellent but the spicy duck salad of my fellow diner lacked focus. My rabbit and langoustine main was delicious and well balanced whilst the cod of my fellow diner was very heavy and, again, lacked focus. The side vegetables were excellent.
We did not have time for a dessert and asked for the bill. The staff had overheard that it was the birthday of my fellow diner and served a small birthday cake, a very kind gesture and delicious. A very pleasant way to end a fun dinner.
Unfortunately we were squeezed into a table for 2 with limited room around us, totally inappropriate. I had mentioned it was my partners special birthday celebration but there was no mention of it al all!
The wine was not served chilled, it was put into an ice bucket but due to the wine not being at the table and stored elsewhere we were left without wine for periods.
Disappointing experience this time.
On a plus note the food was excellent.
I had a really fantastic meal at The Ivy in Leeds. The food was amazing and I can highly recommend the Chocolate Bombe for dessert.
Sadly there were a group of 2 couples who were extremely drunk, loud and rude, which did spoil things a little. But overall the service we received was excellent and we had a great time.
Beautiful decor , lovely afternoon tea . Really enjoyable
Unfortunately, my mother and I were very disappointed at the Ivy Victoria Quarter. The waiter was charming, but was not attentive in the slightest. I asked two of his colleagues for drinks throughout the meal and nothing came. Once ordered, the drinks didn’t come until after the meal.
The food was average at best. I had steak tartare for my main course. The meat was brown and tasted old and was covered in parsley to disguise the unsavoury appearance. The salt and pepper squid was very poor in taste but the tempura prawns were delicious. The food on the whole was too salty which, as a salt lover, isn’t something I say often. I would not return to this restaurant
I came for afternoon tea with a voucher and isn’t realise it wasn’t valid until 3pm. The manager was very accommodating and allowed me to use the voucher against the regular menu. My 3 year old daughter was also looked after. Lovely service, food and venue. Will definitely be back.
Lovely lunch. Great service
Always love the ivy !
If you like the business of the city the Ivy is just like this. Very cramped and loud. Not like a fine dining experience should be. Felt like they wanted you out before you sat down and you were sat almost on top of people.
I will not be in a rush to get back.
Excellent service, ambience and most importantly the food. We booked an inside table for a special birthday and asked for champagne on arrival. It arrived as we sat down without hesitation and a lovely birthday cake was gifted at the end. Will definitely go back.
It was last brunch with my parent at Leeds.
It was so nice with beautiful weather.
Also, the service was good and the foods are lovely!
Gorgeous brunch. Lovely staff lovely food and just lovely atmosphere .
Had a wonderful evening here treating my parents. The food was excellent and we couldn't fault the service at all. We will definitely visit again.
Service and food were both excellent, would highly recommend.
