Food nice, staff superb!!

Our overall experience was good, although the service was a little slow due to a lack of staff. Also, the roast’s were not very hot. The meal was very tasty though.

Food was really nice and much better than it usually is. Unfortunately the service was rubbish (and it wasn’t even busy). We were seated at the back of the restaurant and then ignored for 15 minutes. My husband had to go and find a waiter and found them all chatting at the bar. The same thing happened when we wanted to pay.

We got there after booking online to be told they were fully booked and there was no reservation for us even though I had the confirmation email

Staff very helpful, the food was exceptional

Really disappointed as previously had a great experience. We were told there was a 20 min wait and we waited a good 30 minutes. Food was warm at the most not hot, then when we ordered desert the ice cream that accompanied it was running like it had been standing for a time. We did not have time to complain or have a new meal cooked as we were on our way to the airport to start our holiday and the fog was getting pretty thick. We have always gone to the toby carvery before holiday but thought we would have a change this year, will be going back to toby in the future if things do not change

Excellent service. We ordered the burger with trip,e cooked chips. The burger was good but the chips were soggy and certainly not tripped fried. Disappointed but overall a good place to stop for food.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Good service from friendly staff and interesting menu. Well worth a visit.

Disappointed... It was Christmas Eve and our reservation was for 21:30pm. As we walked in we were informed about the fact that the kichen was about to close!! We had to order in 2 minutes literally and only among plates that didn't need grill because it was already off..everything was untasty an a waitress tod us that they were in hurry because the wanted to close and go home. Absolutely disappointed 😔

Although my booking was through Open Table, I called on the day to confirm & request a quite table. This was done as requested even though they were busy. The service was efficient & Sunday Lunch was good value and tasty.

Great food and service nice atmosphere very nice all round

Booked online. Quiet inside despite the chaotic roadworks outside. We had a quiet table. The server was very helpful. Good range of food. Would recommend

The Jack Rabbit is an eatery we use among others in the city and have always found it to be a "looking forward to going there again" place to eat. Good menu. Good selection of wines. Nice helpful staff and no rush to eat up and vacate your table. Altogether a nice eating out experience.

Nice family meal in a nice location.

Two thin and I mean thin slices of pate and equally thin toast , mircowaved veg , bland !
Fish had raw un cooked batter .
Rubbish , don't know what has happened up there .
We left and went to the beefeater for puds which were fantastic .

Nice decor, nice feel, nice atmosphere.
Clean and well presented.
Food portions a bit on the small side but well cooked and presented.
I will be back again!

The service was excellent, very attentive but at the same time discreet.

The Jack Rabbit never fails to provide excellent service and quality food at reasonable cost.
Nothing is to much trouble and the staff are always welcoming and accommodating to individual needs. A few years ago our wedding reception venue was double booked in Tavistock and the staff at the Jack Rabbit managed to fit us in at very short notice and provided us with a meal to remember and they have always provided the same service since
