Good food and generally well organised. We had to ask to place our order, but suspect this is more down to the fact it was the 2nd night back after the end of lockdown and staff were still ‘finding their feet’. It was a bright evening but very cold, so patio heaters might be helpful.

Great sunny beer garden. Good for children and both main and children’s menus were good. Would definitely go again.

Good food at a good price. Staff friendly and cheery even in the face of many cancellations and no shows due to Tier 4 restrictions being imminent.

Proper well-cooked food, served by friendly and efficient staff who were totally on the ball covid-wise. Great that the warm welcome was extended to our dog, Roxy. Lovely open fires completed a really great experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food, great range of drinks. Staff were cheerful & helpful and attentive to our needs. All very easy to book, restaurant was very Covid secure with a QR scan in and plenty of hand sanistiser and clear guidance all the way. After a good days walking the portions were still huge! It was so good we rebooked for the following day. Can recommend the mussels, the whitebait and the pizza`s, although not at the same time!

Lovely to be back at the Sailors even during the current pandemic.
The staff worked hard to make our ore Christmas lunch as good as it could be. Good food, beer and a log burner. Just what we needed.

Another lovely meal at this great pub. We've not sat outside in December before but the covered, heated 'outdoor' area was lovely for lunch. Clean, tidy, quiet and warm enough for a two-course lunch where everyone had something different and every choice was great. And two lovely draught beers too after a three month gap. You can't expect anything more...

We appreciate during these difficult times that things are testing
However not welcoming, food rushed, music off early (home now at 9.30) staff didn’t want to be there, or us to be there-food over cooked
I have loved the Jolly’s for years, we went to another local
placed last night , who even with all the restrictions went out of their way to make the night fun, lively, and they really wanted to make the customers night a worth while evening.
Poor Jolly’s

We had a lovely lunch at The Jolly Sailors. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the pub style menu had a great selection. The pizza was lovely; not gastro quality but still very tasty and good value. Highly recommended place for a visit!

Often driven past but not stopped. So pleased we have now been to this lovely pub. The food was very good - quite basic menu which makes a nice change for this part of Norfolk. We both had the pizzas and they were very good - a thin crispy base with loads of topping.
My husband had the biscoffi cheesecake for pudding which seemed homemade - again very tasty
The staff were lovely and friendly. We will definitely return

Jolly Sailors is a great place to have a meal with family and friends. Dogs are made to feel welcomed too. Food is just like home cooked. Good choice. Pizzas are great. Good drinks menu including an extensive rum menu. Good value for money. Enjoyable dining experience during Covid. Good procedures in place and lots of space between tables. Can’t wait to get back once lockdown is lifted again.

Really good friendly, casual pub with excellent pub food.
Great cosy atmosphere with wood-burner, staff really welcoming. Fabulous nachos, lovely beef stew and dumplings. Burgers OK - nothing special mainly on account of terrible "pappy bread rolls" which let them down.
Good selection of cask ales and Gin.

There is no doubt this pub, like every other is affected by the Covid precautions but we have been here a couple of times in recent weeks and although pleasant the service was slow in some instances. The food was mostly ok but the sauce with the local mussels was very bland and did not come up to the usual standard.
We will come back again at some point but probably not until next year or when the restrictions are eased.

The food, service and venue just very average. All very good with keeping to the covid rules. Maybe just wasn’t what we expected from what we had experienced with other pubs in area.
