We were there Tuesday and Wednesday, supper and lunch.
Food as good as always, service friendly and helpful.
Under the prevailing conditions it was as good as we could expect, we’ll done.

Often driven past but not stopped. So pleased we have now been to this lovely pub. The food was very good - quite basic menu which makes a nice change for this part of Norfolk. We both had the pizzas and they were very good - a thin crispy base with loads of topping.
My husband had the biscoffi cheesecake for pudding which seemed homemade - again very tasty
The staff were lovely and friendly. We will definitely return

Jolly Sailors is a great place to have a meal with family and friends. Dogs are made to feel welcomed too. Food is just like home cooked. Good choice. Pizzas are great. Good drinks menu including an extensive rum menu. Good value for money. Enjoyable dining experience during Covid. Good procedures in place and lots of space between tables. Can’t wait to get back once lockdown is lifted again.

Really good friendly, casual pub with excellent pub food.
Great cosy atmosphere with wood-burner, staff really welcoming. Fabulous nachos, lovely beef stew and dumplings. Burgers OK - nothing special mainly on account of terrible "pappy bread rolls" which let them down.
Good selection of cask ales and Gin.

There is no doubt this pub, like every other is affected by the Covid precautions but we have been here a couple of times in recent weeks and although pleasant the service was slow in some instances. The food was mostly ok but the sauce with the local mussels was very bland and did not come up to the usual standard.
We will come back again at some point but probably not until next year or when the restrictions are eased.

The food, service and venue just very average. All very good with keeping to the covid rules. Maybe just wasn’t what we expected from what we had experienced with other pubs in area.

Love this pub. So lucky to be reasonably local. Staff working really hard in difficult circumstances and remained cheerfull despite being clearly short of staff.Menu more limited than usual due to Covid but excellent quality and very tasty. Felt very safe in the pub and booking very straightforward.

The pub is quite a nice place to eat. We ate there two nights. The first was rather spoilt by an obnoxious crowd who were asked to leave. The second night was far better. The steak was ok a bit tough. I had the curry and asked for very spicy and it didn’t disappoint!

It was half term so full but the staff worked really hard to keep everyone happy even when some customers were extremely demanding with challenging behaviour. Well done everyone for coping and staying polite!!

Great booking system. Host was great upon arrival and we had a table in the conservatory under the heater. Waitress was great and very attentive and professional. Offered more drinks etc. Food arrived very promptly. Childrens food came with our starters as requested. All covid secure with a one way system around the pub. Couldn’t fault it. The friendliness of the staff was refreshing!!! Customer service is key and they nailed it.

Always good. Ran out of pizzas though for our 7pm booking which was a bit of a shame, especially as pizzas are a large chunk of the menu and it was the main reason for our visit on this occasion. We still had a good meal and a good time so not the end of the world.

The staff were friendly and efficient and explained the current COVID rules very well.
The food was of a good quality, we opted for the local mussels which were very good.
The Jolly Sailors is not normally the type of pub/restaurant we would normally go to but they are dog friendly and the reviews looked very favourable and are well deserved.

We ate at The Jolly Sailors as a family of four. We had an enjoyable evening with tasty food and friendly service. The staff were friendly, chatty and helpful. Lots of choice on the menu and happy to accommodate the specific pizza requests from our children. Atmosphere was nice with lots of chatting that you could hear through the pub. Warm and friendly. Food was really yummy, ribs portion was a little big for me, but really tasty and I would definitely order again.
We also had a pizza takeaway the previous week, really good and we’d definitely be happy to repeat the takeaway or visit when we’re in the area again.
