The Jones Family Kitchen
Everything was perfect. The food was amazing! All the waiters were lovely with us
Fabulous pre theatre meal, very good value, excellent service especially on our tight timing (our fault).
5 minute walk to Hamilton.
We were welcomed warmly and served quickly. We dined from the pre-theatre menu and the food was good but overpriced for what we had. We had 2 courses each, soup, a chicken terrine, hake and bavette steak, a cheap cut. The accompaniments were scarce (a very small number of fries with the steak and some overpowering sun-dried cherry tomatoes with the hake) and the steal was overseasoned. We declined to have dessert. I was disappointed as I had researched the pre-theatre options thoroughly, had high hopes and found the experience lacking.
Very tasty and good value food, would return, only one dish was slightly strange, the pannacotta, the rest was amazing.
Very great food and service and staff has superb knowledge on their food and wines. we were very satisfied.
Excellent and one of the best steaks I’ve had. Wine list was very good also.
We enjoy the atmosphere , the food and service . Rosie , our waitress , particularly charming and attentive.
Pity the restaurant is not more full
Great atmosphere, gorgeous food and outstanding service
nice place - great ambience - nice service
Needs more fish options
Great food, nice decor and great service. it is near my work so local for lunch and dinner
Nice venue handy for theatres in Victoria. Very friendly staff and good choice of wine and good. Portions could be slightly larger. Lemon tart pudd excellent! All enjoyed no grumbles, well done.
I took some business acquaintances to Jones Family Kitchen yesterday and we were all impressed by the food and ambiance. A great atmosphere and helpful but subtle staff, and the food was delicious albeit not overly generous. My one complaint is in relation to the gluten free options. I was given a gluten free menu on request which was fabulous, but the staff didn't offer to tell me which if the daily specials on the set lunch menu were gluten free so I felt I couldn't take advantage of that offer or have anything on that menu. Also, of the desserts offered, the only gluten free choice was sorbet. It would be lovely to have at least one other option (especially in winter when cold desserts don't always appeal!)
Pre theatre dinner
Outstanding customer service. The food was cooked to perfection
We had a lovely pre theatre meal here. We got a little lost on our way but Lauren very kindly directed us on the phone. The minute we walked in Luke was warm and welcoming. We were in a hurry and the restaurant fed us quickly as asked. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Thank you
My favorite place
In Victoria great food
And wine. Friendly staff
I loved this restaurant, it's in a cosy quiet spot in London away from the crowds. The service was excellent - I arrived really early to meet up with friends and, even though it was Christmas and very busy, I got such friendly and attentive treatment I was blown away. The food was great - best burger I've had in a very long time and my friends' plates looked and were, according to them, delicious! I'm not usually one for doing reviews but felt this place deserved a mention.
Pre theatre - easy and lovely staff
Fabulous staff. Friendly and professional. Good food presented very attractively.
Came in after a long trip by bus. Conveniently close to Victoria Coach Station, it is a good place to unwind. Good vibes, great service. Delicious food too!
This is a lovely venue with very friendly staff. The food is good but a pricey for what it is. Desserts also very pedestrian. We were unlucky to be stuck between two Xmas tables, both energetic and noisy. No pepper, salt or bread offered automatically. We felt a bit like intruders on a busy night.
Real shame, have visited the restaurant quite a few times and was a big fan however our meal on Friday evening was below par. The steaks had a strange after taste and my cauliflower rice dish was rather heavy.
Always a pleasure to meet friends at this wonderful tucked away restaurant well worth the trip
summer or winter!
Fantastic find , friendly attentive service, superb food , faultless
Thank You Very Much
It is a family restaurant so can be very noisy with children running around. On Sundays there is no alternative to the Sunday roast menu and the proportions are huge. There must be a mountain of uneaten food returned to the kitchen.Whether you have two courses or three courses you are still charged the same. How bizarre.
Delicious steaks. Great ambience and service.
Met up with a couple of friends - we loved the ambiance and the gin menu. Food was excellent - one of us is vegetarian, one a peacetarian and I had a burger with triple cooked fries - we were all happy. Service was friendly and staff v responsive. Will be back.
We celebrated our colleagues maternity leave at the restaurant and we were all equally pleased with the quality of food (even our vegan colleague was overly satisfied with her options) and service. We had a very nice time at this impeccable environment. I will definitely come back here again even for a date night.
Fabulous restaurant. Great location (2 mins walk from Victoria Station). Excellent wine list & very knowledgeable but relaxed servers - Extremely professional.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch there with my daughter. The food was truly delicious and the staff are charming. Well worth a visit in the really pretty Eccleston Yards.
Great service, felt extremely welcome and the food was brilliant. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family.
A wonderful pre theatre meal. Excellent quality and wonderful friendly service.
Went pre-theatre. Arrived early at 5 to make a 7:30 show. Did not order of pre-theater menu as it was a bit limited. The cocktails are great with a good selection and well crafted. The food ranged from good to great. The roasted squash appetizer was amazing. I had the ribeye which was good. Cooked and seasoned well.
My friend is a vegetarian and enjoyed the aubergene. Very generous portion.
Nothing on the desert menu caught my eye.
Overall good experience
The food and service were very good and the interior is quirky, comfortable and fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and I look forward to returning.
A lovely restuarant in a cul de sac that is slightly off the beaten track but easily accessed.
The staff are welcoming and friendly.
The gnocchi starter was a meal in itself. It had a small amount of smoked salmon - but enough to taste.
The sea bass was fresh, seasoned well and cooked perfectly.
Overall an enjoyable experience.
Birthday Brunch with a bunch of friends. Really lovely room and staff were delightful!
Without a doubt of all the fine Pimlico/Belgravia restaurants The Jones Family is serving the most fabulous meat any carnivorous diner could desire. My companion and I both selected the sirloin steak which beautifully sourced and impeccably prepared. As a bonus our starters (scallops/octopus) were also exceptional. Memorable experience.
Food and services were excellent. Location was great.
Very enjoyable lunch, great food and good wine selection
This is the second time I've been to the Jones Family Kitchen. The first time, I was blown away by the food - and this time it was even better. They've also ironed out little problems with the service. We shared some sourdough bread, olives and courgette fries to start. Then had heavenly mains. Two of us had a the beef rump, which was amazing, and the truffle macaroni was out of this world. My vegetarian friend had cauliflower rice - which (one tiny niggle) he would have loved to have been warm.
