    This was a meal celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary and the meal was wonderful the service was attentive and the decor was beautiful. A fantastic night, thank you.

    First visit to The Kara. Decor extravagent & opulent. Food very good and reasonably priced. Good range of drink options. Unfortunately loud, thumping disco music made it difficult to talk to others on table which was obviously the case with other diners who were similarly having to shout to be heard, as a result it felt more like we were having a meal in a night club rather than a restaurant. Could understand it more if we were dining late but our table (limited choice as we left it late to book for a Saturday evening) was set for 6:30 pm.

    Fabulously tasty food. The basics might just be charcoal grilled meat, but it’s done very well indeed. Tender and tasty. The ambience, for younger crowds, is probably perfect. Loud in both volume and decoration! I prefer both to be a bit more toned down (but that’s me and it was a Saturday night)! Service was very good. You feel very welcome. I’ll brave the noise for the food any day though.

    Nice setting and ambience, food is plenty and tasty, service and waiters really good. Only bad is the £5 service charge when you order drinks at the bar before going to your table have to pay then and cannot add to your table bill.

    We had a lovely evening all of the food apart from one dish Beef Cokertme that two of us had wasn’t quite right, it was miss leading when it explains that it has Oozy fries! we didn’t expect them to be small matchsticks that weren’t anything special, the dish felt like it needed something like salad or rice. When we explained this to our waiter he seemed a little bit baffled by our question and wasn’t very friendly towards us, He did actually poke at the match sticks on one of the guests plate! when showing us the fries. The customer service feels like it’s not very warm at times, it could be more friendly this is based on other visits that I’ve experienced in the past here. The ambience of your restaurant is stunning. When you’re paying higher prices than other restaurants in the High Street. I do feel the service should be top-notch. Hopefully the management will take these comments onboard.

    We went for dinner for the first time at The Kara yesterday evening, and I usually don’t write these reviews but felt that I really should, because we had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, not a fault in it at all. The staff were extremely attentive to our needs and provided a brilliant service. We had our 1 year old with us, who was loving walking around everywhere and I’d really like to take this opportunity to the staff there yesterday evening for how helpful, patient and friendly you were. It really made a huge difference with our whole experience there, and we thoroughly enjoyed our family dinner. Thank you, and we 100% will recommend to all our friends and family, we will be visiting again soon!

    On arrival we were greeted and from the word go were very impressed. After being shown to our table we were treated almost like celebrities. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. Left feeling absolutely stuffed. We will definitely be returning. T hank everybody at The Kara
