The Kitchen of Knightsbridge
Booked a table for Sunday lunchtime for 3 people. When we were greeted there seemed surprise that a reservation had been made, but we were seated quickly. Menus didn't appear for a while, and then we were left quite a while before orders were taken (not even asked for a drink order in advance of food order). No one checked to see if we were ok at any point or asked if we wanted more drinks. The bill arrived without being asked for and we were not asked if we wanted desserts. Food was good - we all had pasta dishes and they were tasty. But service was poor.
Plastic pizzas and an ok chicken burger. Pasta was good
Some of the worst food I have had. It is in a nice location but the food was full of butter and had very little flavor
Too much time cooking for pizza and burger, the pizza was horrible!! I didn’t like the burger at all but to be honest my family like it
Great little view of the Christmas lights over Knightsbridge. Quality food and nice/quick service. Zaatar chips were awesome.
Really disappointed with the service. We were told we couldn’t have tap water by the first waiter who served us as it is ‘dirty’. We were so surprised but he insisted we had bottled water. For 9 people this was going to be a lot of bottles so we asked the waitress why we couldn’t have tap water and she apologized and said we could. This was so bizarre and I think the first waiter was trying to con us into buying expensive bottled water. The food was average with extremely small portions. We ordered lots of different items but the service was rude and acted like they didn’t want to be serving us. We were the only people in the restaurant most of the time but the service was still so slow. Basically just terrible service and we will not be returning.
Unexpected gem in heart of Knightsbridge. We ordered the fixed menu of appetizers plus grilled meats. The hummus, babaghanouj, felafel and tabouli were fresh and perfectly prepared. The grilled chicken, grilled lamb, lamb chops and ground lamb were lean, smoky and juicy and the chicken and lamb shwarma, while not as memorable as the grilled meats were well above average. The upstairs seating is comfortable, clean and quiet.
The food is lovely and the staff are really friendly 😊 definitely recommend and will be going back
A wonderful evening. Great food and so relaxed:-)
The portions were huge and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the set menu and the food was delicious and great value.
Excellent in every way.
We had great service , great food, great wine and in a great location, Highly recommend
Good atmosphere, Good food. The head Chef spoke to us an explained the dishes. Positive experience.
Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. The food was really good and excellent value for money. The reason I gave a 4 for service was because they forgot our chicken liver starter, but it eventually came and was as delicious as the rest.
Really great fresh food, lovely flavours.
Lovely staff. The food was very good! I chose the Lamb chops and they were delicious! The atmosphere was really calm so you could actually speak with the people sitting next to you.
Restaurant called to ensure we were arriving which was nice. Service was good and food arrived quickly! Overall good value for money and would go again!
Enjoyed a lovely lunch with family. We ordered a number of dishes from the meze menu and shared these. The food was lovely, freshly cooked and tasty.
Food was surprising yummy! We love particularly the lamb chops, and eggplant with chickpeas. Waitress was very kind.
A favourite for good Lebanese food in area. Friendly service and very tasty food
Food was fine but staff members shouting to each other across the restaurant and having loud phone conversations standing next to our table made for an uncomfortable meal.
Loved the food and the service. Food was fresh and came out quickly. The shawarma is one of the best I’ve had in London so far.
They could improve on the food. But, everything else was really good. Overall, we were happy.
Over all very good, staff were very polite despite being busy. Very good and value for money especially in Knighbridge. I'll definitely go there again.
The waitress was extreme kind, helpful and lovely. The food was delicious and the ambience is very charming, besides the location. Totally recommend!
Really amazing food - great view of Knightsbridge and great service
A great experience. Lovely food, lovely people. Very friendly. Quality was terrific. Would definitely return
Nice view, friendly service and delicious food.
We love to eat lebanese and tried a lot, mazaya is our best experience in London.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is not too simple and not to cosy- perfect to focus on the very good food. Try the spicy lamb with houmus!
We enjoyed a nice mix of tasty food. We dined quite early so restaurant was quiet, which suited us. Good view of Knightsbridge from the first floor window. Would have liked more vegetarian options , though - shame they didn't offer the vegetarian mixed meze in the evenings
I've no idea how this gets such good reviews - the food is very, very average, the ambience terrible - the napkins were of the thinest paper ply ever - we went because we love Lebanese food and it had such great reviews on Opentable - we're great fans of Opentable and this is our first major disappointment!
First time here and loved the food, real flavour and great taste.
Perfect! Great food and super nice people running this place! We ordered a number of dishes to share and all were perfectly executed. The menu is pretty straightforward Lebanese fair and I would say that the quality is as good as I have had in London.
All the staff were very friendly and nice to us and also very attentive. What made a great impression was that we opened a fairly old wine which was corked. Within a few minutes of telling them it didn't taste right the manager or owner was at the table with a new bottle, which this time tasted great.
The result? The people I dined with were back apparently within a week! As will I next time I am in the area.
Really nice restaurant, very good prices, having the best humous I tasted until today. Good location, nice staff, plenty options to choose from. Difficult not to like it.
Mazaya is a new Lebanese restaurant. Quite simply, it is wonderful and I recommend it for its excellent food and very helpful and polite staff. It deserves our support to help it become better known. I shall be going back as soon as possible.
Very good quality food and service
